  1. He's trying very hard to get the religious right, but it's not working like it should. Nobody knows what his actual political views are except on immigration.

If he ran even a semi-positive campaign that gave hope to the disenfranchised in the States - alongside the anti-Islamic rhetoric that's valid in a broad sense when he's focusing on the fight against terrorism - then his chances of getting elected wouldn't be so precarious. Many people in the West are concerned about the creeping threat of Islamic immigration, but they're more concerned about jobs, housing, the economy, and other day-to-day stuff that's more immediate. That is unless the media is solely fixating on his more outlandish pledges and ignoring some of the tame policies?

  2. I have noticed in the past couple of weeks how strongly the mainstream media have begun to rally against Trump. They're going for the 'nazi' angle quite blatantly. It's hyperbole, but it seems to have made a dent, especially with that recent abortion comment mis-step. Liberals, especially liberal females, seem to be averse to being lectured on sexual / sexual health issues that paint them in a negative light, especially from a standpoint of a traditionally conservative plaform. Apparently, having an illegal abortion is something they think isn't worthy of prosecution? :/ What an upside-down world we're living in.

  3. I'm beginning to suspect a lot of nonSikhs are masquerading as apnay on Sikh forums.

They're trying to get us riled up to fight their battles for them. Just keep reminding them their white leaders / governments / elected officials are the true traitors who've betrayed their country and the indigenous population. They can't counter that argument because it's absolute fact.

  4. Gursikhi aside, avoid soda (any carbonated drink) at all costs. Lots of health conscious people drink water or something light even when socialising. Frequenting bars / pubs is, of course, your decision. Whatever you feel is best.

Although, on the subject of fizzy drinks, does anyone else do the old desi indigestion remedy, with a glass of lemonade and a pinch of salt? You have to down the concoction before it rises over the rim, but it works a treat, lol.

  5. Most of them died from disease, (are you denying that fact?)

I hear this from so many Americans, I'm beginning to believe they must teach this in their schools.

Can't have the little kiddies growing up with a jaded worldview that the home of the brave and the land of the free was built on systematic acts of genocide against its native population.

Diseases and a lack of immunity played its part, but that's like claiming after pushing someone off a skyscraper, "The nudge didn't contribute to his death; the pavement was his enemy."

  6. Left wing or Right wing, islamism still wins.

Multiculturalism - islam = Utopia. The right aint going to kick out all browns and slant eyed people come on. All western nations have become multicultural and it works fine just minus the moslims.

That boot you talk about is Sir Donald Trump, whats amazing about this guy is he is self funding.

This is off-topic, so I'll put it in spoilers.

I was looking further ahead than a potential Trump presidency (like 50 to 100 years+), as well as hypothesising about the situation in Europe.

I predict there will be an uprising from the disenfranchised white population, and it'll start on a street-level at first. That's if they haven't been completely brow-beaten by their governments by that stage. The thing is, in my lifetime, whites have been conditioned to become very insular and selfish, with a complete lack of communal responsibility to even their own race.

The only thing that the modern, middle-class or aspirational white person cares about is "his and his own", which is in stark contrast to previous generations where the sense of community and togetherness was strong. (It's something minorities are succumbing to as well. I think it's strongly linked to prosperity and modern consumer / material culture, but I haven't given it much thought).

The grooming of their daughters by Islamics - as these whites stand and watch helpless, or simply without a care to intervene, whilst these issues have occurred right before their faces, on their own streets - is a prime example of this.

When the indigenous population of a Western country is so compliant, even in the face of provocation, governments will gradually chip away at various thresholds to discern how far they can shape society until something snaps in the minds of the public. That time is yet to arrive IMO. When it does, it won't be a surprise because it will have been a long time coming.

  7. I am firmly of the belief that 9/11 was NOT a conspiracy and thus it was started by a demented ideology which would still be there if there wasn't an American foreign policy. The war in Iraq was simply a catalyst to a very fine line that Saddam had preserved through ah violent dictatorship - once that region was destabilized the beast was released and now it's too late to put a lid on it.

Agree. Not a conspiracy at all, but capitalised on with glee by higher-ups.

Let's make no mistake: the Islamists think they're calling the shots, but they too are being played. They're nothing but patsies, albeit patsies who've been given free-reign for the moment at least.

In fact, I pity the true moderates within their ranks - along with those of us who'll be mistaken for them - when society descends into anarchy. It'll be the average man and woman, as always, who'll bear the brunt of the inevitable and violent tumult of change.

  8. The Right (worldwide) is playing the long-game, and I must say it's - purely from an objective viewpoint - an absolute blinder. Bad news for any brownies like us, though, or at least our future generations.

In brief, the Regressive Left (supporters of the proliferation of over-zealous political correctness; women's lib (the extremist variations); toleration and appeasement of aggressive Islamic encroachment into Western society; unfettered immigration under the guise of humanitarianism, etc) are all methods of giving the Left enough rope to hang itself.

And what will the people crave and demand as a remedy to these policies? The boot of the Right to restore order. When that boot arrives, it'll be unlike anything we've ever seen. If certain elements of the Left hadn't lost their heads and had remained true to their considered, egalitarian roots, none of what we're seeing now - and will see in the future - would ever come to pass.

The next 100 or so years will be rather interesting. The instigator was 9/11. God knows what the denouement will hold for humanity.

  9. What is wrong with lending money to people who need it aslong as it is all fair and honest? These people made their first son Sikh as a thanks to Sikhs who did so much for India. So that is commendable and noble act not done out of any other reason such as greed.

It's one of the reasons some would say contributed to anti-Semitism throughout the centuries, I.E. Jewish money lenders.

  10. Hit the nail on the head. Try and put forward perfectly logical arguments and reasons why they should not travel abroad leaving behind kith and kin to fend for themselves and that their fellow brothers are living in squalid conditions under bridges still you have more chance of convincing them than having your feet washed by the Pope. They glare right through you, almost as if looking at a Ghostly spirit, then nod like they've been hypnotised at which point the subject changes to something completely different.

They think you're trying to mess them about, i.e. stop them for gaining the opportunities that our elders had when they emigrated to the West. I don't doubt there's a few devious people over here who'd like to see their relatives wallow in a dead-end existence in Punjab, but most people express their misgivings out of concern. But it has no affect.

  11. You have articulated it better than I ever could.

It seems that Punjabi society has jumped from Stage 1 to Stage 4 without going through to Stage 2 and 3.

The UK have moved from Agricultural to Industrial to Service.

Without Industrial, you don't get the Infrastructural stuff such good electricity network, decent roads/transportation/communication links, proper sewage system etc. It's what is lacking currently amongst other things.

I like to think of it as the kind of subject that was discussed in Jurassic Park (the first one). The technology to create those dinosaurs wasn't unearthed by the scientists who were behind the park; they just took from the work of their forebears, built on it, and then slapped a label on the finished product and sold it. The knowledge wasn't acquired by them through discipline and rigour, therefore they had no respect for it, and accordingly were blind to the dangers ahead.

They knew they "could" but they didn't stop to think if they "should."

Then there's the throwing together of the human species with a long extinct species of animal, separated by millions of years of progression. You can't just skip that unthinkable period of time and hope everything will be fine when those two groups are thrown together

A similar principle - IMO - is at play in regards to this particular subject. Too much, too soon, and things will invariably turn sour. That's what we're observing back home now.
