  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Could it be that these people who claim to have seen Harnam Singh leave the dera are just stiring up trouble between both Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala and Harnam Singh? There is no denying the fact that Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala does not like Harnam Singh due to Harnam Singh announcing Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale a Shaheed. And come on at least be a little honest, is Harnam Singh really self appointed Jathedar? Or were they given Dastaarbandi? Were Sant Baba Jagjit Singh Ji Harkhowal Wale, Bhai Ranjit Singh Ji Ex Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Sant Baba Bhupinder Singh Ji Rara Sahib Jarg Wale, Baba Sarbjot Singh Ji Bedi and other Singhs not the people that gave Harnam Singh the Dastaar? Whether or not you agree with him now or not, you cannot deny him being Mukhi or Acting Mukhi of Taksal. Like I said before these debates areguments could go on, but whats the point? Where isit getting us? Taking out grudges against each other sitting on a forum? Dont always believe what is printed in the press.
  2. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh The picture with Parkash Singh Badal, Badal for some reason was going to touch Harnam Singh's knee, but Harnam Singh stopped this, and touched Badals knee instead. As you know and as can be read and seen in the media, Damdami Taksal and Sant Samaj were not happy with the appointment of Sumedh Saini. I wish the above would come true, sorry to say but every leader in Punjab is out there to become a hero. Taksal, Sant Samaj, AKJ, Nihangs, Sampradas, Bittu, Maancan get together but who will they target? The 51% Sikh population of Punjab? Revolutions dont come overnight. We need to educate the people of Punjab against the tyrant government, against fake Gurus, against the drug culture and educate them towards Gurbani and Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the Sikhi way of life. Like was said before Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala are doing a great job of their Satkaar Seva, but these allegations are false. If Baba Harnam Singh is what some people make him out to be, has committed religious sacralige, has betrayed the Panth, has held meetings with the Radha Swami's or any other pakhandi dera organisation then this evidence should be taken to Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to the Singh Sahibaans and then Harnam Singh shall appear at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to accept his punishment. But, please dont waste your time in slandering your own brothers, and dont always believe what the press prints, sometimes things are not always what they may seem. It is clear that Baba Harnam Singh became the 'bad guy' as soon as he declared Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale a Shaheed. Sardar Simranjeet Singh Ji Mann are against Baba Harnam Singh because he sided with Badal. Bhai Daljit Singh Ji Bittu does not stand against Harnam Singh nor has he given a statement against him. Dal Khalsa invited Harnam Singh to release their Shaheedi Diary. Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale, comes to UK at Sant Baba Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale's Barsi At Gurdwara Baba Sang Smethwick last year 2011 states off stage that the Pagh of Taksal has been shreded and is in tatters, the same Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji approached Baba Harnam Singh a month or so ago when allegations flew around about Sant Dhadrianwale to release a statement in favour of Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji. Only time will tell what will appear inside the memorial, i'm sure Badal, Makkar, Congress, BJP were all unhappy at the idea of the memorial, but its still being made. Once the photos go up, I dont think anybody will have the guts to go remove them. No one is wanting to support Sumedh Saini, Taksal nor Sant Samaj have supported Sumedh Saini. Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa did alot of things, some only which they could do, the question is, he done what he had to do, what are you doing? Sant Ji have woken the sleeping nation, but what are we doing? These debates areguments could go on, but whats the point? Where isit getting us? Taking out grudges against each other sitting on a forum?
  3. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh A number of allegations have been put against Baba Harnam Singh Ji Khalsa. Most of these are to cause further friction in the Taksal. The Taksal on its own does not make up the Panth, Taksal is part of the links which including other Jathebandi's of the Panth make up the backbone of the Sikh Dharam. Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala are doing a great seva exposing Radha Swamis and raising other Satkaar issues, but if Bhai Sahib has a personal grudge against Harnam Singh then this is not the time to express it, he should not use a Panthic issue, but face to face at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and work for the unity of Damdami Taksal. But the allegations which have been placed against Baba Harnam Singh are totally false. If anybody including Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala can prove this, take it to the Panj Singh Sahibaan at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, provide the proof take the media with them so nobody can go back on their word, then Harnam Singh will present himself at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to accept and punishment given to him from the Panth. Most of these allegations are by people who hate the whole concept of Damdami Taksal or Sri Dasam Granth and by those people who are questioning why is Harnam Singh doing so much but were not getting any lime light? In the picture where Parkash Singh Badal sits on a chair, where as everyone around him sits on the floor, does anyone know the reason for this? This is because he has had a hip replacement not because he is higher than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, but because it is phsically not possible for him to sit on the floor. As for Harnam Singh holding a thaal of sweets is this Anti-Panthic? Many other leaders have vowed to do so much, what have they achieved? The two of the numerous issues of the Panth, the calendar issue was sorted. The memorial for the 1984 Shaheed Singhs has begun building. Yet Harnam Singh is still Anti-Panthic? Harnam Singh starts building 1984 and the affects could be felt as far as Delhi? Yet he's still Anti - Panthic? Singhs dont waste your energy slandering each other, do as much as you can for the benefit of the Panth.
  4. Sehajdhari term does not exist in Sikhism, claims Sant Samaj Chandigarh, September 2 The SAD, the Sant Samaj as well as the SGPC today claimed the term Sehajdhari did not exist in Sikhism and that Sikhs were either ‘puran’ or ‘patit’, meaning those that followed the ‘rehat maryada’ (Sikh code of conduct) and those who did not, but believed in the Sikh tenets. This means the Sehajdharis, many of them Hindus who believe in Sikh religion and practices, are not being given any space in Sikhism. Sant Samaj general secretary and former militant Jasbir Singh Rode, speaking on behalf of the Sant Samaj, which is contesting the SGPC elections along with the SAD, said the term Sehajdhari was a creation of politicians and that Sikhism did not recognise the same. Asked to specify in which the category did the ‘Sindhi Hindus’ who believed in Sikhism fall, said they could be simply termed only as “disciples of the Sikh Gurus.” SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal claimed that the issue had been laid to rest after the SGPC passed a resolution in 2002, clarifying that only ‘puran Keshadhari’ Sikhs could participate in the SGPC elections. He said the Centre had passed a notification to this effect and elections were held in keeping with the 2004 notification. Asked why the performa for the SGPC elections carried a column for the Sehajdharis, he said this was so because it was the practice earlier. Sehajdhari Sikh Party head Dr Paramjit Singh Ranu maintains that the SAD, which was questioning the very existence of Sehajdharis, had a Sehajdhari wing in the party till 1971. He said the term was incorporated in the Sikh Gurdwara Act in 1959. SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar maintains that times have changed, indicating that there were practically no Hindus who followed Sikh rituals, as was the case earlier. “Where are they now”, he asked. Pradesh Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh differed with Makkar, saying every person born of a Sikh father or Sikh mother or one who had adopted the Sikh religion should have the right to vote. He claimed there were more Sehajdharis than baptised Sikhs and that the former had been voting in the SGPC elections since the inception of the Sikh Gurdwara Act.
  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Damdami Taksal stands united, and calls upon all Panthic Sikh Sangat to attend the Emergency Panthic Meeting at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib Sedgley Street, Wolverhampton at 2pm on Sunday 24th January 2010. A conference that was called today at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Cross Road Coventry, in which Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, Amended Nanakshahi Calendar, Damdami Taksal, Sant Samaj we targets of verbal abuse on stage. One speaker said "Now that they have accepted Dasam Granth as their Guru, let them take Hukamnama's from Dasam Granth in front of their sisters and daughters and explain the meanings to them." We find this unacceptable. Bani is Bani and for Sikhs to use comments like this against Bani we regard this as blasphemy against the Sikh Panth. Please attend this meeting.
  6. Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandhak Committees decision to amend the sikh calendar Nanakshahi is based on a visionary approach which would pave the way for the panthic unity and prove to be a milestone in this direction. This was stated by Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa Chief of Damdami Taksal and President of the Sant Samaj. In a statement released here from the head office on Tuesday, Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa said that Nanakshahi calendar is a calendar of the whole sikh panth which was not accepted by takht Sri Patna Sahib and Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib Nanded when it was implemented almost some years ago and Sant Samaj too had some reservations about it. Amendments now made by the SGPC, which the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has accepted and directed to implement from Chait month, are a serious attempt aimed to remove the objections of both the takht sahibs and of Sant Samaj. Now, after the assent of Jathedar Sahiban of five takht sahibs and approval of the amendments by the Gurmat Sidhant Pracharak Sant Samaj, it is high time for all of us to work unitedly for the betterment of sikh panth. Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, said that in the last two decades, Sikhs have suffered a lot and have witnessed unforgettable events. He said that the time has come for all the panthic leaders to work for giving a crushing defeat to those elements in Punjab, in country and abroad, who were working to harm the community on the directions of those forces which attacked Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib, were actively involved in sikh carnage and are now active to harm the interests of the sikh community to fulfill their nefarious designs. He said that Nanakshahi calendar is a calendar of Sikh community and no interference of the external forces would be tolerated in this matter. He said that there is no doubt that new amendments made would remove all misunderstandings of the past in the sikh panth. It is high time for all of us to jointly celebrate all out historic days according to the Nanakshahi calendar, he added. He appealed to the community members to come forward and accept and implement Nanakshahi calendar from Chaiter month according to the directives of the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
  7. Sehajdhari: SGPC calls emergency meeting Amritsar, The SGPC chief has called an emergency meeting of all its executives on December 28 to rethink the definition of Sehajdhari in the wake of the ultimatum served on the Shiromani Committee by various Panthic organisations yesterday. The decision was taken after the return of SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar from abroad. A spokesperson for the SGPC said the meeting would be held at Guru Nanak Nivas on the SGPC complex and convened by the SGPC president. He said all executives had called on a 72-hour notice to attend the meeting. The meeting of Gurmat Sidhant Parchark Sant Samaj, Nihang and Sikh organisations held at Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkash, Mehta Chowk, yesterday had served a seven-day ultimatum on the SGPC to withdraw the affidavit on the definition of a Sikh from the high court. The Sant Samaj, Nihang factions and other Sikh organisations had threatened to become party in the court if the Shiromani Committee failed to withdraw the affidavit within a week, besides condemning the SGPC in public meetings and religious functions. AMRITSAR: In an unprecedented move, the president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Avtar Singh Makkar has convened a special meeting of its executive on 28 December at Teja Singh Samundri Hall, Amritsar to consider withdrawal of the impugned Sikh definition affidavit in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, for which a decision in principle has been taken. Buckling under tremendous pressure exerted by all Sikh religious, social and political parties across the globe, the Badal Dal leadership of the SGPC, after a long time has decided to bow to overwhelming Sikh opinion against its own. The Sant Samaj & Damdami Taksal, and many other individuals and organizations had severely criticized and chastised the SGPC leadership for submitting a false and misleading affidavit. During his recent tour of the United States, the SGPC president had to face the ire of the Sikh Sangat there on this and other Panthic issues. World Sikh News was in the forefront in presenting the deliberate faux pas of the SGPC mandarins and continues to spearhead a campaign for the withdrawal of the said affidavit and democratization of the working of the Sikh Parliament. While the SGPC may have taken this decision in principle and the executive may pass a resolution to that effect on 28 December, it is not going to be an easy journey at the High Court. The court is likely to ask the SGPC questions which it will find difficult to answer, "Why was a wrong affidavit filed in the first place?" What made the earlier affidavit wrong and what new wisdom has dawned on the SGPC now? Whether the decision to withdraw the affidavit will also lead to resignation of standing counsel H. S. Mattewal, who is close to de facto chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal will be another interesting development to watch. And what face will Anurag Singh, the chairperson of the SGPC Sikh Historical Research Board present?
  8. SEHAJDHARI AFFIDAVIT IMBROGLIO BLOWS UP IN A BIG WAY Sant Samaj, Damdami Taksal, Nihang bodies, Chief Khalsa Diwan set out deadline for SGPC Withdraw Affidavit or Face Us In The Court: Sant Samaj CHOWK MEHTA: Striking a major blow in favor of saving Sikhism from vested interests that have come to entrench themselves within the SGPC, the entire Sant Samaj, Nihang Singh organizations, Damdami Taksal, Chief Khalsa Diwan and many other panthic outfits came together in an unprecedented manner and collectively served the SGPC and the Akali Dal a seven-day ultimatum to withdraw the highly objectionable affidavit defining Sehajdhari Sikh in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In a meeting at Damdami Taksal headquaters Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkash Chowk Mehta held after the Barsi of Sant Baba Takhur Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale, attended by scores of Sikh holy men, religious leaders and representatives of many organizations, a resolution was read out setting one week's deadline for the SGPC, its president Avtar Singh Makkar and the ruling Akali Dal of Parkash Singh-Sukhbir Singh Badal to withdraw the affidavit that made a distinction between Sehajdhari Sikh and Keshadhari. The meeting also decided that all constituent members of the Sant Samaj, Damdami Taksal, Nihang Singh bodies and Chief Khalsa Diwan shall become a party to the ongoing case and will have their own counsel to represent them. Among those who attended the meeting, held under the Presidence of Gurmat Sidhant Pracharak Sant Samaj President Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa Mukhi Damdami Taksal, Baba Bidhi Chand Tarna Dal, Sant Baba Daya Singh Ji, Tarna Dal Mukhi Sant Baba Makhan Singh, Sant Hari Singh of Harianvelanwale, Sant Baba Bhupinder Singh Rara Sahib Jarg Wale, Sant Baba Sukhchain Singh Khalsa Dharampure Wale, Baba Sewa Singh Rampurkhera, Sant Baba Baljit Singh Khalsa of Gurdwara Dadu Sahib, Sant Baba Daler Singh Kheri Wale, Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale, Sant Paramjit Singh Mahalpur, Baba Avtar Singh Badhnikalan, Sant Manjit Singh Harkhowal, Bhai Mohkam Singh of Damdami Taksal, Singh Sahib Bhai Jasbir Singh former Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, Sant Baba Balbir Singh Ratwara Wale, Jathedar Wassan Singh, Jathedar Tarlok Singh Khiala, Sant Hari Singh Zira, Bhai Jagjit Singh Gaba, Nihang Singh Jathebandi Sant Baba Surjit Singh Sant Baba Joginder Singh, representazive of Jalandhar Singh Sabhas, Baba Surjit Singh Mehron and Giani Hardip Singh. Sikh affairs expert Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba briefed the gathering for a long time, read out the documents and cleared many doubts before the collective decision was reached. Will Sikh crowds throng the High Court? With the Sant Samaj coming out stromngly and openly against the SGPC affidavit, and the decision being clear that Sants, Damdami Taksal and other organizations will become a party to the case and take a stance against the SGPC affidavit, the Punjab and Haryana High Court may soon witness unprecedented scenes. Informed sources within the Sant Samaj said the leadership may give a call to the sangat to reach the High Court on the next date of hearing, January 16. Any such call will galvanise the community like never before because here is a situation in which the SGPC has clearly come to represent the shrewd and crooked point of view of the RSS-BJP lobby and is speaking against the collective panthic view. There is little that anyone could object to the Sikhs thronging the courts as earlier the administration had failed to stop the Sirsa fraudster baba from bringing his supporters in thousands to the court. Punjab Advocate General Hardev Singh Mattewal will be also facing the heat as he has been seen as the person, along with Sikh History Research Board chairperson Anurag Singh, who was behind the move at the instance of Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal. Sukhbir Singh Badal has been continuously trying to secularise the party, opening it to all kinds of infiltration at the ideological level from saffron partner. “If the Sant Samaj and other organizations are put in a situation where they will have to oppose the SGPC on a Sikh community’s internal issue in a court of law, then the entire responsibility will be that of the SGPC which has messed up the definition of Sejahdhari Sikh,” said the resolution passed by the gathering. The affidavit was submitted by the SGPC after considering a report of the seven Sikh scholars handpicked by SGPC president but later some scholars exposed the conspiracy by revealing that expert committee had decided a completely different definition of Sehajdhari than was submitted through affidavit by the SGPC. Shockingly, even SGPC general secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhaur and Secretary Dalmegh Singh had signed a totally different definition. Both Bhaur and Dalmegh Singh were among the seven member expert panel. Of the seven, six members had signed the definition which was overturned and changed. The one member who had not signed the definition decided by other experts was Anurag Singh, chairperson of Sikh History Research Board and considered close to Avtar Singh Makkar. Expert panel members Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba, Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, Principal Suba Singh of Shaheed Sikh Missionary College, Sukhdev Singh Bhaur and Dalmegh Singh have publicly declared their opposition to the SGPC affidavit. SGPC president Makkar was at the receiving end during his visit to the United States last week where he could not satisfy Sikh leaders and activists as to why a distorted definition was submitted to the Punjab and Haryana High Court which opens floodgates of religion to the non-Sikhs.
  9. Chownk Mehta: Damdami Taksal has rejected the definition given by the SGPC Executive to the High Court regards "Sehajhari". In a meeting called of Damdami Taksal, Sant Samaj and Nihang Singh Jathebandi's and other Panthic Jathebandis, Damdami Taksal Mukhi and Gurmat Parcharik Sant Samaj President Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa has said that Taksal and other Jathebandi's do no accept the definition on Sehajdhari given to High courts. Asking which Sehajdhari's the SGPC were trying to define? Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa stated rehitnama's only define a Sikh, a Sikh who is Amritdhari, Nitnemi, Panj Kakaari "Rehit Bina Na sikh Kahave" and only believes in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and the Ten Guru Sahibaan and lives life according to Sikh Rehit Maryada. It is madatory for all persons who call themselves Sikhs to take Amrit, and become Sikhs of the Guru and embrace Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as their Living Guru. The meeting will be held on Wednesday 24th December 2008 at 2pm at Damdami Taksal's Headquarters at Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkash, Damdami Taksal, Village Mehta, Chownk Metha, Amritsar.
  10. Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Joginder Singh Vedanti on Monday night resigned from his post. The resignation, which was not being exactly expected these days, was collected by SGPC general secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhaur just hours before a key meeting of the executive of the SGPC at Kurukshetra. The successor is likely to be announced shortly. Vedanti told reporters that SGPC Executive member Rajinder Singh Mehta alongwith Bhaur visited him on Monday night demanding the resignation. A source close to Bhaur said Vedanti duly handed it over without making a fuss after confirming that it was indeed Badal himself who had sent the men seeking resignation. SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar also confirmed the resignation and said it will be placed before the executive meeting at Kurukeshtra. The resignation is likely to be accepted. Giani Gurbachan Singh's name was being mulled over as Vedanti's successor. Akali Dal sources said in case of any refusal of Vedanti to resign, he would have been sacked on Tuesday. Sackings and removals of Akal Takht jathedars have been leading to divides between various strains of Sikh community and demands for codification of the Jathedars’ powers, privileges and role have been made repeatedly in the recent past. There was much speculation in the run up to the vote of confidence for the Manmohan Singh government and many sections claimed that Vedanti wanted to issue an appeal in favour of the Sikh premier but was talked out of it. While the truth is now likely to remain in doubt, the Sri Akal Takht Sahib jathedar’s tenure will have a mixed assessment. Vedanti’s relationship with Damdami Taksal & Sant Samaj also remained less than smooth. Fever-pitched demands for Vedanti’s removal continued throughout his tenure. His skirmishes with the Spokesman newspaper editor also kept him in the news. Recently, he got into an ugly turf war with fellow Jathedar of Takht Patna Sahib Giani Iqbal Singh on the issue of supremacy and the Nanakshahi calendar. During the last three decades, various jathedars like Prof Manjit Singh, Bhai Ranjit Singh, Giani Puran Singh and Vedanti himself got embroiled with one or the other controversy while the Sikh community often recalls the glorious stories from the era of Nawab Kapur Singh, Jassa Singh, Akali Phula Singh with nostalgia. More often than not, pliability and notions of political loyalty to dominant political denomination have been seen as key criteria for the job. Sri Akal Takht Sahib jathedars are appointed by the SGPC executive committee and qualifications and privileges exist in the realm of the grey. On the positive side, Vedanti had issued an open appeal asking the Akali leadership and the Sikh sangat to work for the release of death row convict Devinderpal Singh Bhullar, had issued a hard hitting hukumnama against the RSS and advocated against summoning serving and former jathedars before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Sri Harmandir Sahib's HEAD Granthi Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh is currently being signed on as Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib at Sri Harmandir Sahib as this post is being published.
  11. July 20 - Jalandhar, Gurmat Sidhant Parcharik Sant Samaj President and Damdami Taksal Mukhi Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa has said that Dera Sirsa mukhi with the support of the Central Government is challanging the Sikh Nation again and again. He said Punjab Sarkar is also supporting and standing by watching him terrorise the Sikh Nation. Baba Harnam Singh advised the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and the other 4 Takhats that this was a religious matter and not to come under any political pressure. Here to open the new offices of the All India Sikh Students Federation Baba Harnam Singh cleared the point that on the 23rd as per call from Sant Samaj Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan will be kept BAND, all subas will be band but also the day to day traffic on roads will be kept band too. He added that the railways and essential services like medicals and other emergency services will be kept running as normal. Keeping the areas band will make people pressure the Sarkar to arrest and take action against Dera Sirsa mukhi. Baba Harnam Singh said it is with deep regret that even with so much happening and Dera Sirsa attacking innocent Sikhs the Sarkars of Punjab, Haryana and Central are not bothered at all, history is repeating itself and this is another sign that Sikhs are living a life of slavery in India and as second class citizens. Also present today was Federation President Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammed.
  12. Singh Sahib Ji's look what the topic started off as and look where it has been taken, those wishing to discuss Bhai Mohkam Singh and Damdami Taksal or Sant Samaj please open a new topic. This is the same Bhai Mohkam Singh who passed and read EVERY resolution at 1986 Sarbat Khalsa Sri Akal Takhat Sahib inc the resolution of Khalistan. Just to clarify some points, could someone shed light on when the meeting was held? Who it was held with? WHEN the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib gave hukamnama against RSS? Was Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa Jathedar of Damdami Taksal at the time of these meetings? Was Baba Harnam Singh present in those meetings? What was discussed in the meetings?
  13. waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh :)

  14. MANY HURT IN SIRSA VIOLENCE Followers of Dera Sauda and the Sikh community clashed in Ghukanwali village under the Odhan police station. According to sources, several persons were injured while the buildings of a “naam charcha ghar” were being demolished and the belongings inside destroyed in a fire. A case was registered against seven persons by name, 300 of Jatha Bhindranwala and others for the clash at Ghukanwali.
