I was watching a talk on a muzzie channel by Dr Zakir Naik (india), the talk was about identity of faiths. He brought up beards and said the biggest apperceation of the beard has to go to the Sikhs, and was saying how Sikhs are very proud of their identity. He also said how Sikhs will take employers to court if anyone says anything and Muslims hide there identity I always thought it was the other way round.

Its safe to say that various groups i have mentioned pose a threat to Sikhs. But pose a threat in different parts of the world. I cant see the Rss doing much to effect Sikhs outside India. But generally speak be alert of all.

I am so offended by this topic because "sikh_youth_uk" put down Hindus, Muslims, etc... He didn't even say some or a few, no, he just put all. Like all Hindus are against us and like all muslims are against us. I have many hindu and muslim friends and to think they are secretly plotting against me is asinine. It's not a personal issue at all and I didn't attack him personally. What I say on this forum is strictly business. I didn't agree with the way approached this topic. You chose to make an issue of what I said into something larger. It's not my problem, really, and I could give a hoot. And I'll "cry" as much as I want on this forum. Do you pay my bills or put food on my table? No, only maharaj does that! I have used general terms as I don’t have the accurate figures of how many Muslims and Hindus threaten Sikhi. At the same time I haven’t said all Muslims and all Hindus, if I said some or a few these could be misleading. I’m sure the knowledgeable people on here have the intellect to realize that not all of the Muslims or Hindus are a threat.

I think the biggiest threat is the Sikhs themselves. If we werent a threat to ourselves the who could threat us from outside. No-one can dismantle something which has a hard inner core.

To say all the Gurus are God is going down the Hindu DEITY route where everyone or even everything is God. Which Sikhi doesn’t follow. If you follow the monotheism path, which is what Sikhi is, the Gurus again cant be God.

We only beleive in one God as stated in Mool Mantar (you know that is ?? ) There are ten Gurus and one God they are not the same. You need to go back to basics. It like i always say to find out if your perception of God is correct, it must fit in with Mool Mantar. ...and no Guru ji fits in with Mool Mantar. They are not one, they are not immortal, or the creator. Yes they are true. but they are not unborn nor are they self created this is the critera for God. We belive in the Gurus Philosophy as they have shown us a way to God. The difference between the two should be understood.
