Do you want them to ignore you because them stopping to talk to you, in a perfunctory manner, isn't a heartfelt gesture? Then you'd say, "People are cruel. They pretend I don't exist." Someone passing you by isn't going to launch into a deep, nuanced analysis of your frame of mind. That's not how people work. Your pain is yours; for someone else it's old news. That's life.

Its got nothing to do with me, I was talking in general.

    Politeness.

Most people don't actually care about someone's struggles, and to be honest they aren't obligated to feel the other person's pain. But conventions of cordiality dictate that you don't behave like an unfeeling beast, and then walk away.

Just one of those things. I don't know why anyone would expect a casual acquaintance to devote any more than a passing thought to me. Why are you placing so much emphasis on what's implicitly understood to be polite convention?

I do not expect anything,  but why say something when you don't mean it, to me thats not being polite,  its just patting yourself on your back.

  3. When somebody is going through a bad time people always say 'My thoughts and prays are going to them' or something similar,  then they just change topic and I guarantee they don't prey for said person because usually they don't kniw them.

Just don't understand why people just say things, for the sake of saying, started to get me annoyed lately.

Yes maybe your right. And now that I think of it it does kind of sound odd if I refer to my selfbas a gursikh lol thanks for saying something. I'm still new to the path every bit of advice helps.

The only reason I brought it up, is because you are putting pressure on yourself rather than taking your time to do you nitnem, and learning and growing into a Gursikh if you put 100 %, anyway maybe you are correct and we need a thread for this.

Keep your mind straight, keep faith in Waheguru Ji.

An Amritdhari is a Sikh who has taken Amrit and is initiated into the Khalsa. A GurSikh is a Sikh of the Guru, and is all ways Amritdhari. All GurSikhs are Amritdhari, but not all Amritdhari are GurSikh, because some "Amritdhari" Sikhs might have taken Amrit but don't follow it. All Sikhs should constantly strive to take Amrit and become true Sikhs of the Guru....

Fair enough,  but 'Gursikh' is used way too much these days

I guess we were misinformed by our panj pyaarr at our amrit sanchaar. Thanks for input

According to bhai jagraj singh anyone who gives there head and takes amrit is now guru da sikh. (A gursikh). He once said, "if your not gurus sikh then who's sikh are you?"

    Something to think about perhaps

And I'm glad you found my journey interesting. I didn't mean to share it as a story. Just what I'm going thru.

And in order to tell the sangat about my current situation its best they know my past.

    Thank you for your message.

    I appreciate your time.

    Good night

So you take amrit and you are on Baba Deep Singhs level, ohh btw a true Gursikh doesn't refer to themselves as  a Gursikh because at that point your ego has totally gone.

Also it is said 1 in a million is a Gursikh, seems to me there are a lot of Gursikhs around these days.

Do you know that Punjabi phrase, "Aakhan nal g'la karniya (Speaking with eyes)"? If you've been around decent, wise black folks you'll understand that they have a radar for detecting bull. They know when they're being made fools of, (or at least earlier generations did). When they see these white and Jewish BLM frauds speaking for supposed black causes by getting them riled up and turning them into targets, switched-on blacks communicate with their eyes with fellow minded people of their race to say, "Can you believe this 5h1t? This whole thing stinks." They know it but for some reason they don't speak up loudly against it. But they definitely know.

They do speak up its just not publicly available because they as is News etc want the narrative to be on BLM are right.

Jews, but I get your point. The founder of BLM is a Jewish woman who was pardoned by Bill Clinton (when he was president) after she committed a terrorist attack in the 70s.

Also, why are the majority of BLM street activists in the U.S. soft, white (genuine whites, not pretending) millennials? You have ACTUAL African Americans telling them, "F*** you, you don't represent me. Stop using my race and my people as political tools." Are they fake blacks? Are they self-haters?

They ain't fake or self haters, they are like why are you coming to our community and messing up it? Chaos and rioting,  they are just perpetuating bad energy.

  9. Funny thing BLM, is run by white people just watch how many black people do not even like them.

So they riot and steal from themselves,  then you had the lad who passed away by a copper with his knee on his neck, and they do that a tribute with their arm in the air, its an absolute disgrace.

    People look without seeing.
