Honestly, reading this article was disturbing but not at all surprising. But it teaches a lot to us. First of all it teaches us the islamic ideology, the way they preach their religion ...by slandering other religions and distorting their history and true facts and that's an area where sikhism is different. It's i feel the most tolerant and righteous religion of all. Whereas muslims play by words and by twisting the facts in such a manner that they project other religions as either..changed,distorted,false or man made....whereas islam is projected as true religion of allah. May waheguru bless them with positive thinking, tolerance, and honesty.

AMRITPAL SINGH AMRIT u seem to be a confused man brother......first u called me i slander badal when i responded than u say i slander gursikhs of punjab.......have i in any of my posts slandered gursikhs of punjab or elsewhere...i mentioned sikhs not gursikhs......if sikhs are not blind why they support a badmash like badal??.......and whatever questions you have for me ask openly in a straightforward manner not by using "who" and "we know this" "we know that"..and u said about ninda...condemning right person ina sin.....didn't guru nanak devji call babar as 'jabar'......didn't guru gobind singh ji send a zafarnama? now would u call that slandering........sant jarnail singh bhinranwale spoke up againgst govt...was that slandering???? speaking up against a devil is sikh's duty......isn't badal the biggest devil???

First of all brother be straightforwad in ur views and also tell us which are the "people" u referring to in ur reply and secondly the word slander means:1) Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation 2) A false and malicious statement or report about someone. Now maybe i was short of words in badal's "praise". just assess for a few minutes that how much loss alone badal has done of sikhs' in last 22 years. I don't see any wrong in condemning a traitor in sikh disguise who's a tout of rss. FATEH

Well i also wanted to do something like that and when i couldn't think of anything i turned towards gurughar to do a bit of sewa and also learn abt sikhi and now i ask myself could there have been any place better than gurdwara sahib? That's what i found out........And i have also heard bhai ranjit singh dhadrianwale talking about sewa and simran wash away your sins.....Just try out.....listen to kirtan and gurbani vichar....then do sewa in langar....there's loads of it to do washing dishes, cleaning, sweeping floors e.t.c. I also interact with elders and granthi ji (although my views always contradict with him regarding khalistan).It adds a lot to your knowledge with every visit especially when there are some shaheedi divas or gurpurabs. So i feel it satisfying and thats how i spend my sunday mornings. Bhul chuk maaf

yeah, people makes pics promoting manmat. I have seen a RSS pic of Guru Nanak Dev ji with some hindu Gods also as well as Guru Gobind Singh Ji with his beard trimmed. Get over the pics. They are not accurate. Sikhs don't believe in pictures. Pictures, idols, two sides of the same coin. Guru Nanak Dev Ji refused to wear the janeoo but would wear a rakhri? One thread over another? If Guru Sahib believed in the power of the rakhri thread and what it symbolized then why not the janeoo? These hypocritical practices make sikhi seem like the undefined, confused hindu sect that some people want it to be... peace. Rightly said...u can see all type of false pics. Guru nanak dev ji wearing janeu, guru nanak devji getting married in hindu way, baba banda singh bahadur wearing topi not dastaar e.t.c......there are all kind of false pictures and stories being published in india just to change mentality of sikhs and bring them into hindu fold....just like u saw a pic and believed without questioning ....now it's up to us to sense true intentions of these people and defeat them Bhul chuk maaf

Why r u defending badal??? The sikh diaspora outside india is not blind as sikhs in panjab.......By the way what are ur views on who should be in power in panjab??

Badal's and his dusht party's a$$ needs to be kicked outta politics along with his pakhandi and panjab desperately needs a change as a saviour ....SAD(A) is the most likely candidate on whom our hopes can be pinned for the future......congress or badal are never gonna do anything other than aligning with dusht bahamanwadi indian govt and attack sikhi....they can't even utter khalistan out of their mouths....time and again it has been provedthat badal is the biggest traitor of our panth, he used bhaniarawala, his wife goes to ashutosh, dusht badal even compromised on panjab's waters with haryana due to with panjab lost the case in supreme court of india just coz his friend om parkash chautala was the haryana cm.......... by the way what did they do in their last term??? nothing and congress i feel is marginally better than badal but again during congress regime nothing much has changed except the number of liquor vends which are rising day by day in number coz the contractor ponty chadha is cm's friend...chemists sell drugs and nothing is done...there are countless issues.......if SAD(A) is elected to power then only can a peaceful fight for khalistan start......whatever happening now in regard to khalistan (if at all) is falling on deaf ears......But having said that it is gonna be an uphill task for SAD(A) to educate the drug addict panjab state whereas parkash dass badal and congress know all illegal means like distributing liquor,drugs as means to lure people and get voted.....all we can do is educate people in our circles and spread awareness and one more thing: do an ardaas for betterment of sikh panth and khalistan......one day waheguru's gonna smile at us BHUL CHUK MAAF

Honestly, our girls really need be tough..... always ready to draw the kirpan out attitude towards dushts especially sulle.....so that nobody percieves them as naive and try to mess with.....and set example for fellow bhenjis

Sikhs as a whole panth have to learn....not a few percent of them.It is sad that even a ghallughara of 84 could not teach us much and look at where we are now.... May waheguru help us

sikhs not only protect their own sisters but are bound to protect all sisters....but sadly today things are different

Come August 9 and you will see most of sikhs decorating their wrists with rakhis because that day is an exclusive hindu festival called rakhi or rakhsabandhan which has now been adopted by almost 90% of sikhs. Sisters even from foreign countries send rakhis by post for their brothers and brothers send money or gifts back. But by doing so all the sikhs are directly violating guruji's hukum coz this falls in bipran ki reet. Rakhi is against principle of sikhi because a sister ties thread on wrist of her brother which means that he will protect her no matter what. But doesn't this show weakness of womanhood? In sikhism everyone is equal and women have equal rights as men.Women wear kirpans like men and are expected to protect themselves.Don't you know what Mata Bhag Kaur did and don't forget sacrifice of Mata Jindan (Jind Kaur). Women are not weak they are equally strong. In sikhi women are not expected look upon their husbands to protect them. If that was the case then what would be the point of wearing kirpans? Guru Gobind Singh Ji said when all other means have failed it is your right to draw a sword. So let it be that way. How would you know your brother would really help you in danger. What if he's not there to help you or runs away. Guruji ordered khalsa to practice arms and be able to protect yourselves. This applies to both men and women or Singhs and Kaurs. So why do we keep performing these useless rituals when our Gurus have clearly ordered us not to do so? Why are we bent on sending a messege to people that sikhism is also a part of useless hinduism by celebrating these festivals which are of no importance to us but on otherhand are a direct violation of our rehat. A giani of our nearby gurdwara sahib was telling me that some people are such a big fools that they even tie rakhis to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's palki.......may waheguru show them the right path. So let's be wise and respect Gurus' orders and boycott rakhis and also encourage other fellow sikhs and stop following Bipran ki Reet. Bhul Chuk Maaf

why the hell are hindus allowed to vote????? that's a shock to me.....what's gurdwara management gotto do with them.......they r just visitors not the hosts......the voters should be true sikhs i.e khalsas and should run the gurdwara sahibs........donno why we are such big fools???? According to me khalsa schools can be of immense benefits and are need of the hour keeping in view the youth going astray and totally being ignorant about sikhi. Just look at the scenario today how many sikh girls are in relation with non sikhs? Why did the trouble of seduction and subsequent conversion of sikh girls into islam happen? Just coz the Muslim preachers knew that our girls have western upbringing and will fall easy prey to their idiotic islamic mentality which had for long aimed at seducing sikh girls and then converting them to islam. And that's exactly what happened. But we have not learned from our mistakes.Today we are continuously failing to teach sikhism to our younger generation and hence youth is completely ignorant. How many young boys and girls are today seen in gurdwaras? How many young boys and girls today even know meaning of word sikh? How many young boys and girls today know about 10 gurus, 5 pyaare and 5k's? How many young boys and girls today don't drink,smoke or do clubbing? And the reason for all flaws is that sikhi is not even taught to young generation so how can they practice it? And as a result of that all the corrupt qualities in the world today have crept into our youth on a high scale. And again most of our community is ignorant and is least bothered. Look at the muslims ...how careful they are for their generation..especially girls.....how they are teaching islam to their youth and helping them keep connected to their roots and religion. When the problem of their girls going out with non muslim boys arose in bradford they opted for a muslims girls high school and as a result of that Bradford's Feversham college Muslims girls high school after several rejections was recognised as eligible for state grants and Muslim association of bradford got five million pounds from Dept of Education. We on other hand talk about being tolerant,multi cultural e.t.c other than staying connected with religion.If we practice sikhi we would automatically become tolerant and respectful to others at the same time leading a sikh way of life. Well i feel in order to save our youth Khalsa schools or sikh schools whatever you may call them are must so that youth can be taught sikh way of life otherwise we are becoming silent spectators to the slow destruction of our young generation from which the qualities of a sikh may be wiped out completely in near future and replaced by either westernised or islamic way of life which has already started to happen although on a small scale. Why do sikhs today find all means of doing things other than gurbani and gurmat? Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji says "sarab rog ka aukhad naam" But who cares?? Coz we have these rss sponsored guruji teaching us....i m not againgst yoga but priority should be given to naam whereas yoga is being taught in gurdwaras....where does Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji support yoga......and isn't it an another mean of hinduisation of our faith....well the effects are already visible in india..... may better sense prevail among us and help us bring close to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. If Namdev's gonna visit Gurudwara Sahib as an ordinary devotee he is more than welcome but if he's gonna hold his yoga classes or do his parchaar to increase his fan club in the presence of sikhs' revered guru he should be boycotted.There is no treatment better than our Guruji's naam..and by the way we donn need any more dehdhaaris we've got loads of them and we're struggling to get rid off them.
