May be God gave a sign to stop on this topic.
Yesterday i want to gurdwara (Dukhniwaran Sahib patiala) Day before yesterday Suraj Parkash Granths Katha was finished and yesterday they started katha of panth parkash.
I am just narrating part of katha I heard in gurudwara yesterday.
It starts with captain Murry will to get itehas of sikhs he appointed a couple of muslims to write it then he some how gets in contact with Rattan Singh Bhangu.
And very first he asks How Sikhs Got Raj and Rattan Singh replied this raj was given by Guru nanak dev. He is so much powerful that anyone who even touches his feet can rule the brhamand. Sikhan nu raj na hinduan ne ditta and musalmana ne ditta na kissi raje ne ditta Sikhan nu raja Guru Nanak ne ditta ...
Guru Nanak made sparrows killed kites and Dogs killed Lions.

Singh you are confused over westernization and modernization
No one said that it was all about guns. It was about training, tactics and organisation. A well trained army with a good commander will always beat a rabble who just turn up for a fight. Also, there is no mention of the Akalis having artillery in the 19th century when other Sikh Army units did.Are you saying sikhs lacked training tactics and organization ? If so how come the survived nadder shah mughals and paharis ? Not even survived but even defeated them. Akalis never had artillery as they never needed one as they always fought in close range when alone and when fighting with support of others they use to wait till swords come out. And above all Akalis faught with the strength ardas Shaheedi of akali Phoola singh indicates that.
and to the main point you mention just think what are you saying being in less number they defeated Pathans who attached even lahore with afganistan without training.
Can you explain what these European tactics were? Fire by platoon, attack columns, square formation etc dont involve killing unarmed people or civilians. Neither does arranging cannons into grand batteries or cavalry regiments into diamond formations.
Calling them english names doesnt mean they were invented by british Sikhs have their own formation most of them are basic war formations for example "Shalkh kholna" mentioned in panth parkash used by sikh even during guru Hargobind sahib jis time which is same as fire by platoon or in line firing ...
Just think again were Sikhs fighting without the knowledge of formations the only difference is the symmetry which british and other well trained armies had but it only looks nice while marching ... Formations and tactics were there even since mankind learned to fight. Its not more then a joke saying british invented the formation in armies. Every warrior class ever existed knows the formation and in India its called Rann Videya.
Guru Hargobind Singh Ji died in 1644. The First AngloSIkh war took place in 1845. Thats two hundred years difference. From Medieval to Semi-Industrialised. If people cant see that warfare changes over time then this is a discussion not worth having.Can you name even 1 shaster which was there in maharaja ranjeet singhs time but not in guru hargobind sahibs time ... Even 1 shaster ... True industrialization began with the invention of diesel engine ... before that weapons used were same and simple ... They did need training. A lot of training. Anyway, the British were mainly Christian and would have said the same thing about us.....Yes they needed training but the same training Baba Budha jee gave to Guru Hargobind sahib ... Using of advance weapons has nothing to do with britishers ... As sikhs were already using it ... Which training are you talking about ..
You can give reasons sikhs lost due to muslims or dogras but the truth is sikhs lost because they overlooked Dasam Pathshahs bachans ... Guru sahib said khalsa should never look upon Hindus and Muslims for protection ... But the did during anglo sikh wars and they never faught hence sikhs lost ...
If maharaja ranjeet singh concentrated on creating only sikh army to save his kingdom he would had never lost because dogras and muslims had no part to play in the war ...
Afganistan is the country which was never under British ... Infact if we look at the history british kinda lost in afganistan after fighting for 60 years... By your logic Were these pathans more advanced then britishers ? No ... Sikhs almost won afganistan does that means sikhs were more advanced then pathans ? In the last anglo afgan war in 1918 i suppose british even used airplanes but still no success.
At the Battle of Aliwal the Sikh army was led by a Sikh who wasnt a traitor. We still lost. This was due to most of the militia soldiers (ordinary sikhs called up for service) not being well trained and the commander not understanding western tactics.
Well you may be surprised the sikhs lost battle of Aliwal because they were not soldiers and they waited for british to attack budhwal instead british marched at ludhiana where gorkhas and other troops from delhi and attacked sikhs. It was because sikhs didnt understood the move of enemy ... Majithia who lead sikhs in this battle was one of the sharpest sikh leader and his troops were not akalis BUT french trained sikh soldiers with non soldiers in around 7-8k in number out of 15-18k. Infact Battle of Aliwal proved sikhs were doing the basics wrong.
No matter how much western tactics Sikhs would have learned but they would have lost because
They forgot Gurus bachans of dont let other religion people speak in rajniti (1 of 52 bachans of guru gobind singh)
Dont rely of the strength of muslims and hindus for protection (Suraj Parkash)
and most important Never give up your courage (before the anglo sikh wars how many sikhs were captured by enemies none because it was impossible to catch a sikh alive but after this so called Westernization of army they started giving up see the number of war prisoners in final anglo sikh war and then read the history of shaheedi of Akali Phula singh you will know what is real courage which we lost)
Being Advanced and Westernization are two different things. With time you need to be advance to survive but this advancement should not be at the cost of the foundation and principles of your identity. Guru gave its fauj Jangi bana and westernization gave them trousers. Cant sikhs fight with advanced weapons wearing bana ?

I want to get every one right here .... Modern warfare doesn't mean guns and weapons here ... Maharaja ranjeet singh including nihangs had the latest and advanced weapons of that time ...
Its not about guns Infact ram junga (a pistol) is one of the 5 shasters given to nihangs by Guru Gobind Singh.

Guru Sahib said dont kill unarmed people Europeans taught by hook or crook make them unarmed and kill ... This was what Akali Phoola singh was against of ...
People say khalsa wouldn't have survived even a war why not ... Guru Hargobind sahib ji had only 1 canon which was used in all battles ...
Khalsa had the same weapons what ever Britishers had ... They dont need any training of how to use them ... Westernization meant fight like a European ... same gun same horse same sword ... Instead like a sikh with Principles and God above all ....
I would say a brhamgeyni yodha akaali Phoola singh said to maharaja this westernization would finish the raj and it happened ...
Its not about weapons they were the same it was about the principles taught by Guru sahib which many thought would not last against Britishers.

I have never seen a guy not finding a girl because of sikh appearance. In punjab its easy to find a girl for a guy with full beard then a mona and it is a fact. If not then you are looking at a wrong place.

Akali Phula Singh never left Maharaja Ranjeet singh many claim that he did so but its not true. Infact Akali Budhadal and other nihang armies were never part of maharaja ranjeet singh fauj. They were not paid by him nor they follow any commands of maharaja. Shaheedi of Akali Phula Singh is live example of this that they work own their own. Maharaja could only ask for the help of dal panth thats it then it was dal panths wish to help him or not.
The only dispute between Maharaja Ranjeet singh and Akali Phula singh was not because of Dogras but the westernisation of sikh army. They french hiring to train the sikh army.
Akali Nihangs were not against "Hindu or Durga or Muslims or Allaha or British or Whatever" Not even a single person on records was killed because he was from a different religion.
PS- Can any one tell when and how these attempts ti kill maharaja were made ?

If you read kalki avtar there are many signs which was not at all a common thing in times it was written many things seems common more over their are certain signs which are still not common so what ever the case is there are many years before such things starts happening ...
Inter caste marriages if i say its wrong people would call me racist but Guru sahib in kalki avtar wrote about intercaste marriages as a Paap ... They wrote time would come when Brahmins would marry Shuder women and khatris would have vaish wifes... Its in kalki avtar which is common thing now due to increasing number of love marriages or some call it modern thinking or what ever but it was not common in even 100 years back ... and this is just one example ...
I say it again first read Kalki avtar there is no point in discussions with reading it.
Read it understand it what ever bad things are told in the bani dont do them make people aware of such actions ...
Coming of kalki avtar is in our hand. We the humans of world if are good taking care of poor up lifting the society serving man kind. Hence pushing the coming of avtar forward day by day ... Kalki Avtar will come when there will be no dharma in this world lets keep that dharma alive ... Lets even love our enemies ...

This is all on papers in reality Mona and even non sikhs use to vote in SGPC elections in rural area. Ever time they make videos for news publish articles in papers that shejdharis are voting and people forget and make this an issue in next elections.
Till now akali dal was using this "mona number power" for its benefits and now they are free to vote and make decisions which akali dal sees as threat and Congress supported panthic morcha sees it as a upper hand.
But the truth is Sehajdharis were voting every time behind the scene.

I dont know why is the "real reason" of writing this book is missed.
Sikhs called a gujrati aray samaji dayanand saraswati to tackle conversions in punjab he was choosen because he openly spoke against idol worship.
He shared same stage with sikhs he targeted hindu punjabis to stop converting for Christianity and sikhs did the same for punjabi sikhs.
He also started reading sikh literature and later wrote a book "Sikh Hindu Hai" Giving refrences from gurbani and life style ... it was in this books response Bhai Kahn Singh a good friend oh Dayanand wrote this book "Sikh Hindu Nahi"

What's up with these Nihangs who claim they're following purataan traditions when they consume bhang parshad??? Is it really some kind of purataan tradition??
I've also heard before that Singh's use to take it before battle because one doesn't feel pain or get tired.
