well its the first time i saw the article. yep there are many sikh girls in the uk that have and will convert to islam. i dont know the exact figure.

well i think theres no girls posting becuase they dont care. all they care about is themselves. i dont think its a muslim issue these girls would probably convert to anything aslong as they could marry who they wanted.

i think we are over analysing why they convert. they are obviously being influnced by muslims. if you go to sleep with a dog you end up with flees. why isnt this happening to muslim girls? simple they woulndt get in a relation with a sikh in the first place. sikh girls and muslim girls have a completley different mentality. alot of sikh girls see no problem with inter-religious marriages. thats why you see alot of them getting into these traps. whereas muslims girls know that it is wrong and they dont partake in them. thats why i think the future generation are going to be converting alot more. becuase these same girls will be the mothers in the next generation and when their kids ask their mothers about inter-religious relationships they will be all for them. hence why i see alot of sikh women converting in the future and basicaly wiping out Sikhism.

yep. maybe she had muslim friends that told her to convert. and she just did it. im shocked that she wears a dastar. ie she should know all about sikhism ect. i just come back from work and this is a big shock to see this thread. it really psses me off when i read about these things. theres a few scenarios that see. she either has family trouble at home and is rebelling so she converts somone she knows ie her muslim friends have brainwashed her --most likely- she was forced and black mailed into converting. at the end of the day. only she can tell us what happened and she's got some splaning to do!!

well it looks like she might of wilfully converted. but its best not to speculate. only time will tell what exactly has happened. she may have been forced or coerced ect. i dont mean this the wrong way. but maybe sikh girls are just easy targets becuase they are not that clever? and why did she move to birmingham? thats a bit drastic. why didnt she just tell her parents that she's converted ect.

Rip. this is really weird but i must have read about 5 seperate News articles about sikh girls that have been involved with muslims and the girl has ended up in jail. whats wrong with the sikh youth of today? maybe the husband of the girl wanted his wife killed and told the sikh girl to do it. being a dumb sikh girl did she just did anything the muslim told her. and this just makes sikhs look even more worse in the media.

why dont we see muslim girls converting to sikhsim. the answer is simple they aint stupid like them. they have respect for their parents and their religion ect. why do these girls go with these people. its pretty damn simple. you dont have to be rocket science to work out whats going on. convert or we cant get married. the person has already decided that all he wants is a convert. if this akbar was so dam religious he would have married a born muslim. but you can tell this guy didnt care who he married aslong as she converted. i just find this so unbelievable. granted she might not have known what this guy was up to though but she should never have gone with a muslim in the first place.

thanks for clearing that up. i already knew the answer i just needed a more complete answer. well yep. dont get me wrong what i did in the class might seem easy to some people. but it took alot of guts to do it. i cant believe it. ive always had difficulty speaking infront of a group of people. but seeing some of your posts i guess alot of people find it a bit difficult. the funny thing is . that now that i have broken the shackles i recieved the top mark for my presentation. i guess all i needed was some helpful advice. just want to say thanks again for everyones help. Jap naam. thanksfor the advice. il definantly be trying the eye contact. another thing that gets to me though. is the teacher and this girl keeps saying im quiet and dont talk much. they are probably right. i dont talk in the training class much. becuase i dont want to. why should i make random conversations up. im not quiet when im with my friends. and thers just me and to girls. one is 32 and the other is some black girl. i dont have much to say to them. i dont know what im suppose to do.

well sadly i know these people they come from the 'Bhatra community' of Sikhs which i am from. i dont know them of such. but they do fortune telling, palm reading. they mostly do it to muslims though as they believe in that sort of stuff and generaly most Sikhs are not going to fall for their palm reading. they come from back in india. and they give us a bad name. they are only a very small minority of Bhatras that do it. around 1 % and they come from india not the UK.. Yep they do have a genine skill of knowing peoples past but thats just a verbal trick they have of finding out stuff from just asking you. the rose and number trick i know myself. and ive done it to alot of people just for fun though.
