  1. yes now it makes sense thanks for that its a brilliant and valid point that you have made i feel the same problem is happening in men such as the david beckham effect in men
  2. Sheik Farid was muslim why was he respected by Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sian Miah Mir was respected by Guru Arjan Dev Ji ......how can you say we shouldnt respect people of other faiths
  3. daal singh you wrote So don't think gender equality doesn't exist in what we call progressive societies, it just has another form. what does the above mean
  4. mehtabh singh i'm not defending islam, i never have and never will it seems to me that you and a lot of other people can never seem to understand what i am saying on this forum sikhsupreme seems to burning in hatred for muslims and you are not far off.......all my siddhant is that this hatred is not good for you....... im not backing up islam bwoy you guys sometime piss me off
  5. well said supersingh if our sisters were chardikala and supreme in every way then this problem would not ocurr, the root of the problem is our sisters themselves, the frely choose to go out with others who are after only one thing
  6. bijla singh thanks for your response and enlightening me that the kabeer transliteration i have made is incorrect...... are you 100% sure that Gurbani clearly states that other religious scriptures are false. PS: could you give men the ang no. for the kaber shabad
  7. seektruthgirl 1) sexism is a result of the present capitalist society we live in... which is not the ideal society that is part of gurmat. in a gurmat society women/men would all be gursikh......when there is gursikhi then automatically the gender gap is bridged. look at sikh history mata bhagh kaur is shashtardhari and fighting alongside her men counterpart, then Gurusahib tends to her wounds exactly as did to gursikh males. 2)casteism is a brahman principle that we have never been able to get rid of in our culture/religion
  8. they get the girl involved whos fault is that if a non smoker starts hanging around with smokers they wil have a bad effect on him, but they don't stuf a cigarette in a persons mouth and force him to smoke.....the non smoker chose himself to start smoking.......similarly our sikh sisters choose themselves to get into problems, its there own fault.
  9. gurbrakaal do you wish your hair to be dry
  10. ''proactive'' thankyou for your response bit i do not agree with anything you are saying about me 1) i am not contradicting myself......all that i suggested is that the purpose of the khalsa panth is not to make arguements as to why the Holy Quran is false, thats not what sikhs should be doing. 2) not all muslims are fundamentalist but many are very pious and great people who do repeat the name of God and think of sarbath da bhalla.......chardikalah means the same thing as this ie, someone who repeats the name of God and thinks of sarbath da bhalla. 3)please could you explain to me why this transliteration is wrong - bed kateb kaho mat chuteh chuta so jo na vechare ''do not call the holy scriptures of other religions false, false is he who does not read and act upon them" 4)Whats wrong with the prefix holy ?? For sikhs all religious scriptures should be termed with respect. the jist of my arguement is that we should not argue with muslims or try to proove to them that certain things in there religion are wrong, the will only create more agitation........imagine if somebody says to you that sikhi is all false, would you like it. What we should do is respond to muslim questions with proof from Gurbani and sikh history thereby answering their question which il make them shut up
  11. thanks for the valuable information sorted
  12. ps: don't tie a bunga/keski while kesh are wet even slightly wet since the turban material sticks to the kesh and also stains the kesh and also don't use any type of hairdryer
  13. matheen, you just wrote ''i think i havent hare bhare my kesh in months" this is terrible rehat you have.....looking after kesh is upmost important......this is how you look after kesh .......... once washed rinse kesh effectively of excess water then use a towel and thoroughly rub it through your kesh.....then get another towel and repeat process......then comb and do a jhura. (1)then after one hour open kesh inside your house and swing your head down to the floor and then high up to the sky a few times allowing your kesh to become hare bhare then tie jura again then again when you got time repeat from (1)
  14. sikhsupreme you wrote and i quote ''more needs to be done to destroy the foundations of islam" this is a very very bad thing to say and please note that muslims do veiw this forum. I wish to ask you is this why GuruSahib created the khalsa panth so that we can destroy islam as you have just posted. Gurusahib's hukam is - apna karo pritpala ''make your life better, pure and clean" not to go about bashing the Holy Quran. The actions of a sikh should be those that the GuruSahib is happy with and allows to do ...... GuruSahib says bedkateb kaho mat chuteh chuta so jo na vechare ''do not call the holy scriptures of other religions false, false is he who does not read and act upon them" I feel you should apologise on this thread to all our muslim brothers, and please remember that not all muslims are bad as you might think infact they are quite chardikalla aswell
  15. sikh = someone who forgets his own wishes and starts to follow gurus teachings so sikh sakha bandap hai bhai je gur ke bhane vich avhe ''he is a sikh who comes into the wil of GuruGranthSahib ji maharaj" khalsa = completes the teachings and passes the exam. kaho kaber jan pei khalse prem bhagat jeh janee "says kabeer they are khalsa (pure) who are 24/7 engaged in prema bhagati"
  16. gurfateh, thanks very much ''sikhsupreme'' for such valuable information you have provided, i feel that it is a terrible shame that on this muslim forum inaccurate information has been posted about sikhism and yet nobody has even replied to this post by you making us aware of this issue. isn't it suprising that every sikhsangat member is busy watching media on the khalsa camp 07 and yet nobody has bothered to even reply to this post by you. This is terrible shame on sikhs that on that muslim forum they post things like ''the gurus are humans etc" and yet nobody is bothered about this, in the ssmultimedia section you'll find over 40 posts to do with the khalsa camp 07 but nothing to do with this which is more serious........well ive registered with that muslim forum and will respond while you guys are to busy in your own fantasy world
