lol...............im amritdhari and i got two tattoos..........BUT..........before anyone gets their dandeh out to beat me i had them done BEFORE maharaj blessed me...............so ive had them for about 8yrs not and mine teo are on the bicep area and to be honest.......they dont realy meaqn much to me and i hardly ever look and them for comfort or inspriation..............lol...........one is chinese for Love and on Jananese for Friend.............at first i used to kinda think "oh wow, waheguru is my freind and my one true love" but i ive realised i dont need a tatoo to tell me that..............

just trying to give a balacned view here...........a tatoo is for life remember and something that may sound like a good idea now may not be so in 10-20 yrs time when ur kids look at you and say "Dad, can i had a tatoo like urz?"

my girlfriends mum was born in india and moved with her family to england when she was 4, when she was 19 she fell in love with an english man and had to leave her family for him, which she did and has not spoken to them since then, she cut all ties so to speak.

my girlfriend is half indian and half english and we would be having an english wedding in a church which is what she want's

i suppose i am just worried about her mum, i just wanted to make sure i respected her faith

If you want to marry her in a Gurdwara You WILL have to convert to Sikhi and reconigise Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the True Guru. You will also have to Add Singh as your middle name in passports and all other documents.
