Happy (desi) new year.

Many fake plastic Sikhs celebrate the New Year and some shout "Happy New Year!" but why at this time? The Gregorian calendar is internationally the most widely used civil calendar. The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today mostly in use, falls on 1st January (New Year's Day). It is named after Pope Gregory XIII, who introduced it in October 1582 AD. The term 'Anno Domini' is Medieval Latin short for 'Anno Domini nostri Iesu (or Jesu) Christi' which means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ." Real Sikhs DO NOT celebrate the Christian New Year.
