WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Sangat Ji, I would like to know your thoughts on this article and the comments by people i.e. the 90 minute death one. Also if for example they took a photo of a naam-kamai vala Gursikh would the energy be much more radiant than in the pictures? http://www.esotericonline.net/profiles/blogs/russian-scientist-photographs-the-soul-leaving-the-body-at-death?commentId=3204576%3AComment%3A794794&xg_source=msg_com_blogpost

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh In a post, by someone else on another site, the reference to the calculation of time in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is quoted to be; ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ੧੫ ਫੋਰ = ੧ ਵਿਸਾ। 15 blinks of eye= 1 Vissa; 7 and half karih's= 1 pehar; ੮ ਪਹਰ = ੧ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ। 8 pehar's= 24 hours [day/night]. ੧੫ ਥਿਤਾਂ; ੭ ਵਾਰ; ੧੨ ਮਹੀਨੇ, ਛੇ ਰੁੱਤਾਂ। There were 15 Tithis’ = days of lunar month; 7 vaars= days of the week, 12 months and 6 seasons Please can anyone confirm or refute this (with any supporting sources)?

The story of conflicts between some of the Gurus of Sikh religion and the Muslim rulers is well-known. The emerging religion of the Sikhs during the Mughal era was perceived by some of the rulers and their vassals to be a political threat. As a sizeable segment of disgruntled peasantry started joining the Sikh movement in Punjab and beyond, its political and social implications were not lost on perceptive minds, especially among the orthodox section of aristocracy. Some of the Gurus faced persecution. A few were even executed for their religious and political views. Consequently, their followers at times had to bear the brunt of Mughal might. This is one side of the sto…

Sangat ji, I found this amazing veechar on the rich symbolism of sri harmindar sahib. Do you know that the two flag posts (nishan sahib) symbolizes miri and piri and the one facing the darbar is sahib is piri (pir-spirituality) and facing Akaal takht is miri (amir-temporal power). The piri one is taller by 4 feet than the miri. All the facts, about 40 of them are here. http://snd.sc/1g8Ul58 there are much more veechars in this soundcloud.. intresting.. https://soundcloud.com/gurbaninaad Gurfateh
