Recently i have come across recorded ntinem taksal style which has been speeded up, i was wondering is this right??? This kind of nitnem can be found on the BOSS site?? I listened to it and sometimes u can't even hear the bani recited! this is especially the case for jaap sahib which has been speeded up to 10 mins.................................. Whats the sangats view on this????

jokes, knew that would get ur attention. nowadays we see alot of bibia who have taken amrit wearing makeup. i know a bibi who wants to take amrit but cant stop wearing powder. strange that something so meaningless should be so important we were having a discussion a couple of days ago and she said that it gave her confidence this is the only makeup she wears (powder) but she wanted me to justify to her why she shouldnt be wearing it i dont really think its my place to tell her what to do but giving some advice wouldnt hurt. what can i say? being a singh, i dont actually know anything about makeup she says as long as its not a kurehit and is not hindering he…

i have a question on religion. I hope no one deletes this post, because i really need to know if i am right or wrong in thinking like i do. i was sittin down and debating with my mates right about religion...well specifically Sikhi. we were talking and came to a thought that sikhi wasn't a religion so to speak. it is nothing like other so called religionz. sikh=learner. we are learners, so when someone asks what’s your religion, i want to say i have none. why? because the word "religion" divides us. not do i only feel like im lettin ma self down but ma parents aswell..i smoke n i cant stop..i HAVE tryed i went 2 months without out it n in those 2 i turned towards sikhi by doin paat (sorri spelling mistake) e.g ardaas and kirtan solhila but now even if i want to do "paat" i cant because im like im not a good sikh n whats da point of actin like1 when i no im not cos i smoke..the reason i started was becos of stress e.t.c.. What should i do??!!

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
