This farmers protest has thrown up some curious developments. The most obvious is the way in which different regions and peoples have put aside past animosities and embraced each other. I am 19 years old and work with muslims in my profession (retail). They are nice people but because they are observing their fasting month, always talking about religion/allah/kuran amongst themselves and others are also joning in, including two of my female colleagues who call themselves "Sikh". I live in Canada, but I am not a Sikh. I was wondering if it is a good to allow my 9-year-old nephew Dylan to go to a Sikh boarding school called the Gursikh Academy Bahadurgarh which is located in Patiala India? The reason for this is because his best friend Bhupinder Singh is attending this school and he misses my nephew. Bhupinder’s parents asked if I could send my nephew to this school to join his friend Bhupinder and they offered to pay my nephew’s plane ticket and tuition if he goes. Im redecorating a house. Im not sure what to do about the downstairs floors. I was either going to carpet the floors of i have heard about sanding the orginal floorboards which are suppose to look really good once done. anyone got any ideas on what to do?

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
