  2. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh this is a time bomb ticking away and our national sikh bodies are doing nothing. bring back the days off the movement at least the mothers were not seeing their children die of drugs. this needs to be looked into fast, every 1 wants to leave panjab dnt blame them if this is what is happening there. Guruji kirpa karoo bring back Santji and the other gursikhs we need them vaheguru vaheguru vaheguru Punjabi 'cowboys' on road to nowhere KHUSHWANT AHLUWALIA TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ MONDAY, MAY 17, 2004 01:02:23 AM ] GHUKROWAL/NASRAN BADHANA (Hoshiarpur): The Generation Next of Punjab is on a roller-coaster to disaster, but the government does not seem to be paying heed to this "bomb" ticking away in the countryside. Take the case of Sucha Singh. This Jat Sikh farmer who owns two acres of land is a worried about the future of his son. The boy is a class VI dropout who got hooked on to drugs. Now, he just helps his father by doing sundry chores. Karamjit (18) is from a Dalit family. He dropped out of school after tenth. In between feeding the animals for an an hour in the morning and evening, he finds time only for sleeping or chatting with his friends. During the campaigning for Lok Sabha elections, a Jat from Miani village remarked "Sirf ik din Amrika (America)..England (UK).. te Caneda (Canada) da visa khol diyo te Punjab diyan Sadkan sunniyan ho jangiyan" (Let these three countries freely give visas for one day and Punjab's streets will be deserted). This statement is a reflection of the growing unemployment in Punjab. Jas karan Singh of Ghukrowal village is 21 years old. He quit studies after class 12. He thought he would become a tube-well operator like his father but the government ban on recruitment put paid to that hope. These days he is trying to go abroad. His father has given money to one of his relatives who has promised to send him to New Zealand. For the moment, Jaskaran is whiling away his time looking after his four acres of land, meeting friends or milking the cows. Ditto for his cousins Sukhraj Singh and Gurvinder Singh of Ghukrowal village. They left studies after class 12 and class 10 as their family required money and help in a land dispute. Sukhraj, who is of robust built, says he tried to join the Army but a tout wanted Rs 30,000. He could not pay up as his family had spent Rs 6 lakh on a land dispute case. Gurdip Singh (78), an ex-serviceman of Dariya village, says the government is not botered about the problem of unemployment. "If free power is a demand of the farmers, being a father of three sons, employment for my children is my main concern." Gurdip complains that the new generation has lost interest in farm work: His sons rest while the migratory labour works in the fields. With the Punjabi youth not knowing what to do, the vibrant Punjabi spirit is losing out to illiteracy, drugs, alcohol, idleness and lure of the West.

  4. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh it means we wont have to keep looking to hindia for direction, plus it will give sikhs living outside hindia a bigger voice. They are looking at getting sikhs from usa, canada,uk to join this committee it becomes more repersentative of sikhs plus we wont have the sword off hindia hanging over us. its a good step, its got it bad points but if the sikhs can get there act together it will be a base for us to help the singhs and singhnia back home plus would be ideal place for sikh refugees and karkoos to settle. sukdev

  6. Pakistan gives legal sanctity to PSGPC Varinder Walia Tribune News Service Amritsar, May 15 The Government of Pakistan has passed a Bill to give legal sanctity to the five-year-old Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC). This is for the first time that any Islamic country has accorded sanction to a religious body of a minority community. Mr Izhar-ul-Hassan, Additional Secretary of the Pakistan Evacuee Property Trust Board, told TNS on telephone that the Government of Pakistan had given a nod to the PSGPC. However, like the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) which was formed as per an Act passed by the Indian Parliament, the PSGPC is unlikely to run on a similar pattern. The SGPC is a statutory body under the Parliament Act. It holds regular elections to elect its trustees. Mr Harpal Singh Bhullar, president of the International Bhai Mardana Yadgari Kirtan Darbar Society, said he had received information from Mr Sham Singh, co-chairman of the PSGPC, that the Government of Pakistan had issued notification in this regard. Mr Bhullar said the PSGPC would now become an International Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee by giving due representation to the SGPC, American Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and other Sikh religious bodies from all over the world. Mr Parmjit Singh Sarna, president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi), said following legal sanctity, the base of the PSGPC would be expanded. Mr Sarna claimed that the PSGPC was no more a one-man show since many baptised Sikhs from Peshawar, Sindh and Nankana Sahib had been inducted into it.
  7. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh no worries veerji, i know the feeling got AZAADI on me head 24/7. better get some sleep take care Vaheguru
  8. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh dear cyber sangat The movement is alive there loads off Gursikhs out there who want to do something proactive, but the time is to build a foundation. Just look at those socalled sikhs who supported the dog kumar in his election in delhi, he is a Killer of thousands off sikhs, the mass rape off our mothers and sister yet these ppl vote him in. The ppl of have lost their self respect. i feel the movement goes into a new phrase, its not about the masses its about the Gursikhs who want to walk the path off sikhi. If we r looking for directions lets look at Jathadar Sukdev Singh ji or General Labh Singh ji Bhai Sukha & Bhai Jinda. They are our light and inspiration lets join hands with the freedom fighters ppl like Jathadar Vadhawa Singh, General Parmjit singh Panjwar, General Ranjit Singh Neeta gursikhs who have been in the battlefield for the past 20 years who have not given up the dream of the Shaheeds or should we give up. The news articles have always got a hidden message, yes the 2 Singhs are shaheeds, probably killed in a fake encounter but the rest off the news is to damage the movement, make it look like it’s a criminal gang etc, these tactics were used in the 80’s and 90’s it takes ppls thoughts away from the 2 dead singhs and makes u think about what the hell were they doing kidnapping ppl etc. The Indian press is full of agents who just go with what they are feed. No one will investigate the encounter or check who these singhs are and see if it was a real encounter of the made up ones. Its sad must off us will fall for the trap and not look further into the news reports. I guess we better be p repared this time round we got another Mrs Gandhi as PM and u now what a little the other Mrs Gandhi was. Lets do Ardas for the Shaheeds and the men in police custody what pains they must be going through. Just a note for gsingh lets not let our josh cloud us gurbani is our focal point and lets not change or do anything that Guruji would not wants us to do like:- RAJ KAREGA KHALISTAN! Dnt ever distort Gurbani Its Raj Karega Khalsa, yes put KHALISTAN ZINDABAD, but not what u wrote, just a benti from this manmuck. Keep it up bros and sista Dhan Guruji Dhan Tera Panth Khalsa Never forget 84 Sukdev

  13. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh This day 18 years ago the Five Member Panthic Committee the governing body for the whole movement carried out the wishes of the Sarbat Khalsa (1986)and of Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa and decleared Khalistan from Sri Akaal Takhat Sahib. The Panthic Committee was elected by the Sarbat Khalsa its head was Shaheed Baba Gurbhacan Singh ji Manochahal. As Gursikhs and ppl who love Sant Ji and the Shaheeds we should be following their wishes not our own. The fight for our rights is still on going. Dal Khalsa for Khalistan HT Correspondent Amritsar, April 29 http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/5922_72...02000000130.htm EXACTLY 18 years after the Panthic Committee declared formation of Khalistan from the Akal Takht, Sikh organisation Dal Khalsa today pledged its commitment from the temporal seat to “strive till death” for the formation of Khalistan, “but in a democratic way, without bloodshed”. Dal Khalsa leaders offered prayers at the Akal Takht to mark commencement of the “Sikh Freedom March” from here to Takht Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo. Party chief Harcharanjit Singh Dhami said Sikhs lost their rule in 1849 and had since been “slaves of the British and Hindus”. Dhami said their demand for Punjabi Suba, more rights to states were the outcome of their eventual wish for Khalistan. “Azadi is our fundamental right and we’ll achieve it. But this time we have chosen the evolutionary and democratic method,” he said. A 250-strong jatha began the march in a 50-vehicle motorca de.

Hopefully some guru ka sikh will deliver justice to the policemen. :umm: first they came for the amritdharis no 1 took any notice then they blow away the Akaal Takhat a few ppl woke up then they wiped out a generation that had woken up the leaders sold us out not the poor are suffering theres no one left to hear their crys please please Guru ji let Sant ji come back and sort out what the Guru ka sikh started Dhan Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda Dhan Shaheed General Labh Singh Dhan Shaheed Doctor Gurnam Singh Buttar we need to awake and follow in the footsteps of these great gursikhs vaheguru sukdev
  16. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh its a shame that the victims have to run from pillar to post to try to high light what happened to them nearly 20 years ago. makes u think what the hell all the sikh partys are doing apart from looking after themselves. Hopefully the new political youthfull Shromani Khalsa Dal head by Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu can start to highlighting the mass abuse of human rights as well as working towards our independance. dhan Guru ka sikh who are still striving to get justice either in the law courts or on the motor cycles dhan guru ji dhan thera panth khalsa never forget 84 sukdev http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/5922_70...02000000094.htm Anti-Sikh riots come to haunt Cong on poll eve Amit Sharma Ludhiana, April 23 In a move that could make the Congress leadership lose sleep during election times, hundreds of 1984 anti-Sikh riot victim families plan to stage one-act plays and light and sound shows on the streets of Punjab villages and Delhi to depict their sufferings. They also would showcase the alleged involvement of two Congress leaders in the riots, who happen to be in the electoral fray as official candidates of the Congress. The riot victims also plan to use the get-ups and masks of :”tainted” Congressmen during their street shows, it was learnt. “Besides street plays and laser shows, the Society has ordered for giant sized cut-outs and hoardings depicting photographs and news reports related to the alleged involvement of Congress leaders in riots. While hoardin gs would be placed at major venues in different towns and villages, the cut-outs and news cuttings would be put on display on trucks and other vehicles,” disclosed Punjab Sikh Danga Peedit Society general secretary Manmohan Singh. The Society office-bearers, who are overseeing arrangements for this anti-Congress campaign, assert that they had been forced to take such step due to “humiliation” that the Congress meted out to the Sikhs by allocating tickets to its “tainted” leaders. “Successive Congress governments in both the state and Centre have humiliated us. But now allotment of tickets to riots accused is virtually a slap on the face of the Sikh community across the globe,” remarked Society president Surinder Singh. Singh said that their team would comprise nearly 30 riot widows and kin of other victims and plan to use certain clippings and musical score from the 1984 riot-based controversial Bollywood flick, ‘Hawaein’. These widows and other riots-affected persons asserted that they were not amused in resorting to such steps but had no other effective option to deal with the Congress’ alleged anti-Sikh agenda.
  17. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh president zail near the end off his sad life was a bitter man, he spoke against the congress party and rajiv gandhi blaming them for the situation in Punjab. a bit too late, he was a man off no morals or did he have sikhi in his heart. After the attack he went to Darbar Sahib, the singhs where still holding out there and if they had known he was there am sure they would have killed him. He got kicked out the presidency he had no respect left the congress party basically disowned him and the people off Punjab disliked him. That’s what happens when u serve the masters in Delhi and not Akal Purak. May this be a lesson for the delhiwale worshippers.

  21. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh guess all jathas and groups have over the time had some kind off outside influence creeping into them, my history is not that great but am sure the brits did have control over Maharashtra where Takhat Sri Hazoor Sahib is. I read Jathadar Singh Sahib Bhai Kulwant Singhs interview about the maryada a while back and he told how they had to fight the nihangs and sgpc to stop them from taking over the Takhat. lets not kid ourselves saying that the nihangs have the original maryada, yes their is chardi kala gursikhs in each group eg the nihangs have Baba Nihal singh ji, Shaheed General Avtar Singh Brahma (baba bidhi Chand jatha sursinghwale, Shaheed Bhai Surinder Singh sodhi (Santjis right hand), General Manvir Singh Chaheru Bodyguard and founder of the Khalistan Commando Force) then u have the bad apples like ajit phoola and santa of the budha dal. Lets take the good from each jatha and ignore anything that goes against Guruji and the Khalsa panth ie sukha and sideing with indra gandhi Cong meddling in gurdwara affairs: Tohra Tribune News Service Chandigarh, March 16 The SGPC chief, Mr Gurcharan Singh Tohra, said today that the ruling Congress in Punjab and in Maharashtra was interfering in the management of gurdwaras. He said the Punjab Government was extending full support to Nihang chief Ajit Singh Poohla to have illegal control over certain gurdwaras which were to be managed by the SGPC under the provisions of the Gurdwara Act. He said the SGPC had tried its best to wrest control of these gurdwaras in the Majha area from Mr Poohla, but had been unable to do so as the Nihang chief was backed by the government. He said it was because of the approval of the state government that Mr Poohla, wanted in a number of murder and other criminal cases, was released on bail by the police. He said he had sent a task force to free certain gurdwaras from Mr Poohla’s control, but the police did not extend any support to the SGPC in this connection. He said Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib was being controlled by the Maharashtra Government. All directors of the Hazoor Sahib Board had been elected, but the government there was not holding the election of chairman and secretary of the board to be elected by the directors. Mr Tohra said instead, a senior IAS officer had been appointed as Administrator of the Takht by the Maharashtra Government and his salary and other expenditure to the tune of Rs 50,000 was being paid from the offerings at the Takht. Another officer had been appointed secretary of the Takht and his salary to the tune of Rs 35,000 was also being paid in a similar manner, Mr Tohra added. Meanwhile, he has urged the Amarinder Singh government to get all roads leading to Khadoor Sahib repaired before the centenary celebrations on April 18.
