Organisiors shud call Sukha Singh (gravsend) he has great knowledge and does amazing kirtan if we want to make the step for ekta then we should, are any youth going to do kirtan can we have the final list now. As for Niodhar we should welcome him but not let him do parchar but welcome everyone to sit together maybe he might realise his mistakes

yeh chaloh, this one a year event has unfortunetly co-incided with another event. As long as guru maharajh is there and sangat are getting anand from the kirtan everything is chardikala! All the londoners now have at least 2 programmes to possibly go to this weekend, should be no excuses now!! Seems like we now also have a dhadi jatha coming to slough as well ... did somebody shout 'bring your ear plugs'...?? lol Why wasnt this programe or any attempt made to have the programme inconjuction with southalls end of the month programme? all im saying the clash could have easily been avoided by the organisors of this event.

A contradiction: HUKAM FROM PANJ PIYARAY THAT MEAT IS NOT OKAY. and your Panj Piyaray said its okay, then so be it, but STOP trying to convince people otherwise, who have gotten HUKAM from Panj Piyaray Panj Pyarey are Panj Pyarey. If Panj Pyarey are giving different Hukam's then that must be looked at. As a mod you must deliver a coherent message. The Rehat Maryada as defined by the SGPC operates to accomadate all sections. The debate is not about meat (I think I must have stated that about 4 to 5 times), but a general narrowness presecribed generally by Sant-Mat/Dera type groups where the entire philosophy of Sikhism (if not the world) must revolve around them. There is a streak of intolerance streaking through Sikhism which sits very uncomfortably with what original ideals were of the Guru's. You as a moderator have a duty to stamp out this intolerance and to stop personal swipes at people and stop topics from derailing. PS on a side note vegetarianism has it's roots in Vaishnavism (from which many Vaishnavites became Sikhs), but that is a different topic all together. I have been reading posts and comments from randip for the last few days, this person is very negative towards simple sikhi rules and wants to debate over silly things such as have having chairs in darbar sahib as he know most ppl feel very strongly about this. My conclusion is this person has got nothing better to do than just cause tention between others also sounds like an rss, you may find that harsh but you have shown no respect for others and the simple rules of sikh and guru sahib, u jump from one situation to another, now you are saying panj pyarea are panj pyea and giving different hukams stop making things worse and chatting rubbish. Easy to blame dera, jatha and sants etc but if your not honest and respectful yourself dont go round preaching. Why was this not advertised before that this location will be made as a school and has been bought? Who has purchased it? This is not being petty, even though no meat and alcohol has been survied it is still a hall, we by pass this others will use this as an excuse to do the same, this can not be one rule for us and another for others. If the location is going to be a school show us proof and just wait till it has been made then organise programes there, just how slough has successfully done. As for diwans in tents this sort of organisation takes months and years of preperation and is done with full satka for mahraj and is fully advertised to the public and everyone has different seva roles. Bham has so many gudwara with parking and on many big events the sangath has been managed. If not please try to relocate e.g. wolves or southall, slough But any hall regardless should not go ahead as we have big enough gudwara and with the problems with halls this is sure to make more issues

:lol: Sangath ji this wrong for the prog to be held in any sort of hall, an excuse to do it there for the amount of sangath attending is lame. Soho rd gurdwara sahib is bigger enough and is known for controling and managing large number of sangath well. A request to the organisors to reconsider, it's ok for us to stop others from taking mahraj to halls but when we want to do a rainsabi for ekta we can use halls this is not right at all. Once again nishkam sevak jatha have organised events in park with massive tents of diwans and largar that would be a much better idea than a hall
