There will always be people there will always be a future for religion simple. The key fact is that we have evolved scientifically but as a race we havent evolved emotionally. People will always strive for more and in doing so try and push others below us. You see this ALOT in asian communities, this stems from the keeping up with the joneses attitude. We strive to push our brothers/sisters down to show our elders how well we are doing with our new cars and houses. We are the first generation were we could potentially feed the world but we all choose not to. We may do some seva in the gurdwara but think about the last time you did any seva that wasnt in the gurdwara.....you will probably draw a blank. We all probably feel bad when we see the oxfam/water aid adverts but very few of us do anything about it.(including myself) Thats why religion will always have a place because we still dont view each oher as family because if you did these things wouldnt happen. Religion has always thrived in times of persecution/recession/dukhi and i cant see that stopping anytime soon

i wouldnt hugely go out of my way but if i want to chat to a women/man i will do. im not saying the chor dont affect me but i chat trivially wth my sisters so i dont see another girl as different to her. This is where you go wrong once again as i never compared the two i said a lot of practising muslims arent highly educated, pakistan/bangladesh/afghanistan literacy rate all under 40% thats shockingly bad. I agree with you india is worse than pakistan in many aspects but sikhi teaches equality of women and in western countries sikh women are more succesful than pakistani women! Would you say islamic countries are accomodating of other faiths? would you say that despite this lack of accomodation muslims in the west push for as much religious freedom without pushing for other faiths in there homeland?
