umm this happend to me. Your HD is corrupt. If you have two of them. ( Slave and Master ) set your slave as the master and then master as the slave. It should start up perfectly but you will have to manually access the other drive going through "My Computer". If you have only one then get another one. Set that as master, and the current one as a slave drive. New ones cost around $80 in USA, not sure about England. or if you have a old computer. take the hd out. and temporary use it to start up your comp. Then backup all your files on cds. and reformat your hd. -Jiwanjot Singh
