  1. For a sikh Guru is everything. Those who do not follow Guru are manmukhs. so sikh sakhaa banDhap hai bhaa-ee je gur kay bhaanay vich aavai. He alone is a Sikh, a friend, a relative and a sibling, who walks in the Way of the Guru's Will. aapnai bhaanai jo chalai bhaa-ee vichhurh chotaa khaavai. 2. Kala afghna cult does not believe in instituition of Amrit sanchar. Their philosophy is based on doing away with this ceremony. They do not say it openly but thrust of their arguements is on that. They say that amrit is bani only then why to have khande bate di pahul. By saying this they are rejecting sikhism.Sikhi stresses on concept of Gurmukh and manmukh. SGGS ji divides human in these two categories. Gurmukh is that who follows Guru's way and manmukh follows his way. Gurbani comes down heavily on those who ndo not follow Guru's advice. siqgur bwJhu guru nhI koeI ingury kw hY nwau burw ]13] sathigur baajhahu gur nehee koee nigurae kaa hai naao buraa ||13|| Without the True Guru, there is no Guru at all; one who is without a Guru has a bad reputation. ||13
  3. Papi You have totally missed the point. The point is how do we get that naam.We are talking about sikh way and not general philosophy. In sikhi guru's way is the only way.So naam we get only from Guru. suir nr muin jn AMimRqu Kojdy su AMimRqu gur qy pwieAw ] sur nar mun jan a(n)mrith khojadhae s a(n)mrith gur thae paaeiaa || The angelic beings and the silent sages search for the Ambrosial Nectar; this Amrit is obtained from the Guru. ang 918 Those who do not follow Guru are called sakats swkq inrguixAwirAw Awpxw mUlu pCwxu ] saakath niraguniaariaa aapanaa mool pashhaan || You worthless, faithless cynic-recognize your own origin! 4. UK Guptkaur You have revealed your ignorance again. In sikhism the only way to take naam is from Panj piaras. There is no other way. You are brain washed by kala fghna's atheist ideology. Try to learn something instead of wasting your time and others also. If naam is already in you what are you doing here? We are talking about taking naam in sikhism.
  5. Jasbir Mann is a phoney scholar. he does not know ABC about Dasam Granth. Why i say thia? Because we confronted him on learning-zone three years back and exposed him in full view of sangat that he has not read Dasam granth at all. He ran away from there and never posted on this issue. Only thing he can do now is play mischief through his connections to put articles off and on in a sheepish way. http://patshahi10.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=161:guru-mata-sir-john-malcolm&catid=34:english&Itemid=63 Maharaja Ranjit Singh listening to the two sacred Granths being recited near Sri Harimandir Sahib. (A Painting by August Theodore Schoefft (1809-1888), made in Amritsar. From Princess Bamba Collection) Note: The following is an excerpt from a book, Sketch of the Sikhs, a singular nation in the province of Penjab, written by Sir John Malcolm* in 1812. John Malcolm’s work is one of the rarest firsthand information recorded by a western historian on the lifestyle, belief systems and traditions of the Sikhs in Punjab during the 18th century . Guru-mata When Gurmata or great national council, is called, (as it always is, or ought to be, when any imminent danger threatens the country, or any large expedition is to be undertaken) all the Sikh chiefs assemble at Amritsar. The assembly, which is called the Guru-mata, is convened by the Acalis; and when the chiefs meet upon this solemn occasion, it is concluded that all private animosities cease, and that every main sacrifices his personal feelings at the shrine of the general good; and, actuated by principles of pure patriotism, thinks of nothing but the interests of the religion, and commonwealth, to which he belongs. When the chiefs and principal leaders are seated, the Adi-Granth and Dasama Padshah ka Granth are placed before them. They all bend their heads before these scriptures, and exclaim, Wa! Guruji ka Khalsa! Wa! Guruji ki Fateh! A great quantity of cakes, made of wheat, butter, and sugar, are then placed before the volumes of their sacred writings, and covered with a cloth. These holy cakes, which are in commemoration of the injunction of Nanac, to eat and to give to others to eat, next receive the salutation of the assembly, who then rise, and the Acalis pray aloud, while the musicians play. The Acalis, then the prayers are finished, desire the council to be seated. They sit down, and the cakes being uncovered, are eaten of by all classes of Sikhs: those distinctions of original tribes, which are, on occasions, kept up, being on this occasion laid aside, in token of their general and complete union in one cause. The Acalis then exclaim: "Sirdars! (Chiefs) this is Guru-mata!" on which prayers are again said aloud. The chiefs, after this sit closer, and say to each other: "The sacred Granth is betwixt us, let us swear by our scripture to forget all internal disputes, and to be united." This moment of religious fervor and ardent patriotism, is taken to reconcile all animosities. They then proceed to consider the danger with whcih they are threatened, to settle the best plans for averting it, and to choose the generals who are to lead their armies against the common enemy. The first Guru-mata was assembled by Guru Govinid; and the latest was called in 1805, when the British army pursued Holkar into the Penjab. (pages. 120-123) ________________________ *Sir John Malcolm (May 2, 1769 ‑ 1833) was a Scottish soldier, statesman, and historian. He held various distinguished posts, being Ambassador to Persia, Resident of Gwalior (1803-1804) and Governor of Bombay 1827-1830. He was the author of several valuable works regarded as authorities, viz., Sketch of the Sikhs, a singular nation in the province of Penjab (1812), A History of Persia (1815), Memoir of Central India(1823), Political History of India from 1784 to 1823 (1826), and Life of Lord Clive (1836)

  8. http://www.panthic.org/articles/5177 RAGI REJECTS NITNEM AND AMRIT SANCHAR BANEES & ARDAAS PANTHIC.ORG Published on December 1, 2009 Sri Amritsar Sahib - After the heretic Darshan Singh was summoned to Sri Akal Takht Sahib, further audio and video evidence has surfaced corroborating the complaints filed by Panthic organizations that the Ragi has been openly attacking fundamental Sikh concepts and practices such as the sacred Nitnem, Amrit Sanchar ceremony, and the Sikh Ardaas. Panthic organizations have requested the Apex Sikh Takht to take strict action against the blasphemous ragi for violating Panthic edicts, challenging age-old Panthic traditions, and hurting Sikh sentiments. The Ragi has been ordered to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib at noontime on December 5th, 2009. For the benefit of Panthic.org readers, below are a small collection of audio and video clips evidencing the Ragi’s offensive remarks. 9. Can you throw some light on sikh channel. Where is it located and who owns this. It is important to mention here that this baffoon atheist was to do katha for two weeks in a Gurudwara sahib in Victoria BC. He spoke against Amrit vela, Waheguru as Gurmantra and Khande bate da amrit. He was asked to leave Gurudwara sahib on third day. These people are very tricky and they have few cells in sikh organizations who help them to sneak in.
  10. My bad.I thought you were asking for kiran bedi. Kabir bedi's father was a sikh but mother from Euorpe.
  11. Can you please tell in detail about the above mentioned names except Kala Afgana. who are they ? Thanks Veer Gurtej singh was ex IAS officer in india.he was main supporter of kala afghana. He was believer in Dasam granth but changed his views alter. My latest info says that he has got his voice back after 4 months. Harinder Mehboob was a communist and a non -believer. he was a lecturer at a college in Garhdiwala. Baldev singh was a doctor who wrote against Dasam granth on sikh spectrum. He died at Yuba city last month.
  12. Parchian Seva das was written in 1708. The writer quotes Dasam bani in that. Bhat vahis quote dasam bani extensively. Gurshobha was written in 1711 and whole book is written on pattern of bachitra natak. There are extensive proofs for authenticity of Dasam granth yet these agents of anti sikh forces wil not agree.
  13. Shameless followers of heretic gang kala afghanis always divert the topic. They have no grasp on Gurbani. These rhetorics they learn in their propaganda classes. Same BS kala afghna was blurting once during his stay at sacramento, Ca. he was name calling guru Gobind singh ji yet wearing a kirpan outside his shirt. They do not understand that for becoming a sikh one has to take gurmantra. They are very few and have left sikhism in practical sense They need to be shunted out of panth as they will not walk out on their own. See this lady when she was not able to face the questions she has fled the site. Now she will start some gossip posts along with so caled khalsa fauj somewhere else. See the name they take.Khalsa fauj is the biggets gurnindak on internet yet he is calling himself khalsa. This is all to create confusion and modern art of propaganda. Khalsa ji identify such people and expose them.
  14. Who are you to give us sermons on khalsa when you o not believe in institution of khalsa. Shame on you for saying such stupid things. You are not follower of Guru Granth also. Your mentors are already disowning SGGS also. Shame on you prevert. Form a seprate sect and get out you dirt. do not test patience of khalsa anymore.
  15. You do not buy sikhi from roadside and beocme a sikh. You have to go through a process. You have to take naam. You know nothing about basics of sikhism.Better learn basics about sikhi first.I know like a typical kala afghna you will run away now. This is a typical kala afhghna trait. I am waiting answers from you. 1) What is shabad Guru. 2) What is naam and Gurmantra.
  16. OH my oh dear!! Is that all you know? Then why to waste time here.Follow whatever you like. Nobody is forcing you to follow sikh protocols.
  17. These poeple do not believe in SGGS also. They are nonbelievers. Their first attack is on dasam granth. After that they are attacking SGGS ji. She does not know anything about shabad Guru. She does not know that to become a sikh one has to atake naam. What is gurmantra etc. These people are misled who want to change sikhism to their standards. having failed to any replies she has left the session. They are conducting false propaganda all over the net, have no ethics and are lying. Gurbani does not taeah such things. Walk out and form a heretic sect of your own.
  18. You need to answer our questions. you write 1) You do not believe in anything except SGGS 2) You make a statement later when cornered that you do not reject all of Guru Gobind singh's works. Here is contradicition.
  19. What do you understand by naam? Who gives naam to a sikh. To be called a sikh ojne has to take naam or gurmnatra from guru panth. These kalaa fghnais do not know head and tail about gurbani. She is writing about naam but does not what is naam.
  20. You are making a fool of yourself. You started with that anything outside SGGS is not acceptable. Now you are writing above. What is correct. If you are interested to learn charitras start a new thread. We will enlighten you. Do not overlap topics. But keep in mind you do not become a sikh without gurmantra. : Gurdev aadi jugaadi jugu jugu gurdev mantu Hari japi udharaa: The Divine Guru existed at the primal beginning, throughout the ages, in each and every age. 21. UK gupt kaur You can only moan here.Still you have not answered my question " What is shbad Guru?" You just caan't understand Gurbani without gurmantra. Answers needed 1) What is shabd Guru? 2) Have you taken gurmantra? As first priority for becoming a sikh is to take Gurmantra? Or you do not need gurmantra and have taken kala afghna gurmantra?
  22. Bh force ji She does not understand anything about concept of shabd Guru and importance of Guru mantra in Gurbani. When they have no answers they try to divert the topic.
