Dear Veer, I get what u are saying and u are correct. Shastars have to be used with topmost care and respect and not in haummee. Its easy to kill a powerless nindakk than to kill the real big dusths like KPGill, kanjarr ram rahim, chatar and jeevan, badal.

I was kind of wondering why dont the rich sikh families adopt the orphans of the jujharoo shaheed singhs. Isnt it a shame that the kids of the singhs who laid their life for the panth are living in orphanages. There are so many NRI singhs and there are lots of rich singhs in India too.

Dear Veer, What I have heard from the panthic sources around me is that this guy was a very arrogant person and his wife was also pretty ghattiyaa and did nindiyaa of Gurbani. They were pretty politely told to apologize which they dint and infact became more hankaari. His hankaar cost him his life.

wrong. looks like u havent read the article yourself singho. he said that gurgaddi was not given to guru granth sahib, yet it was given to khalsa panth. so in other words, he said that guru granth sahib was not our guru. him and his family were staying at darbar sahib, and singhs confronted him about wat he said, and they gave him a chance to say sorry, and take back wat he had written, but he told the singhs that he had done nothing wrong, and he would not take anything back. hence the singhs gave him and his family a lil taste of "chata". and now, i guess he got put where he belonged. "whoever does beadhbi of guru granth sahib ji, u should "jatka" that person right there at that very moment" -- baba jarnail singh ji Yes, this person was a very ghattiyaa nindakk and has been rightfully sent on his way. But we need more of this. Chattar and Jeevan have broken all records of beadbi I feel.

Veer jeeo, comparing this man with peoople who dont read raagmala is not right. I am not AKJ but I also dont read raagmala and I am not violating the hukam of Sri Akal Takht Sahib which states that its the personal choice of a person to read raagmala.

Pyare veer jeeooo, thats a very good attitute. I would strongly recommend u to read the book "the good life" by scot nearing and helen nearing. Its about how to live an honest self sufficient life, not depending on the corrupt governments and the corrupt corporations. I also wish to start a sikh farming village, a type of ecovillage, where the whole lifestyle will be in rythm with nature and Naam. Any sikhs here wanna join me in starting this ecovillage ? We will wear khadi clothes, do organic kheti, use horses for travelling, stich our own clothes, make our own shastars, use natural medicine cure. OUr lives are being ruined by the corrupt governments and the greedy corporations. We spend a large majority of life working or travellling to/from work. We are being cheated. We shud live SELF SUFFICIENT life. RAJ KAREGA KHALSA.

this is how i do it too... but i throw in whatever leftover raw vegies i have around. also, i mix toor daal with peeli daal for different texture) containing daal, rice, and vegies, kichri is a perfectly nutritionally balanced meal. you could eat it every day of your life. in fact, some people do. i've even seen a study that kichri helps cancer patients. He's Mute... Hopefully, He's Given Human Body Next Birth...And I Hope He Will Make A GOOD Use Of It... i believe this is true. i think that dogs (pet dogs, i mean) are the last step before human birth. they're the most perfect companion. they don't ever get mad at you, they always forgive you, they are always loving and loyal... somehow i know my dog will be a Sikh next birth. I have an intution that I have a pretty strong pichle janam da rishta with my dog. My dog will also become a sikh in its next birth.

I was also having a great deal of trouble with my job. After completing my degree recently, I joinned a web development company for which I used to work part time earlier. Those people made me work for 54 hours a week and I left the job just in 15 days. Then I joined another company and left that job in 7 days. I dint want to work like a donkey and waste my human life. I started to do 2 sukhmani paaths a day and u know what just in 10 days time I got my present job where I have to work for just 3-4 hours a day and I am being paid much more than the previous jobs. It was nuthing short of miracle. So, yes Gurbani can get u ANYTHING. But my sincere advice to u is dont ask for a well paid job, just ask for a job where u have enough time to do bhagti and Satguru jee will take care of the rest. Also, its infinitely times better to be an honest taxi driver than to be a corrupt doctor or a lawyer. So be open to any job u get and just do it honestly.

This is just the beginning. In the very near future, most people are going to loose jobs and the entire economy is going to crumble. U need to read the book "The Good Life" by Scott and Helen Nearing. This book is a must read for all anakhi sikhs.

Veer, u only have to IGNORE him. Thats the best solution. Dont argue with him. Pride, jealousy, nindiyaa are going to ruin the kamayee of a person. You dont have to get angry at such a person and just IGNORE him.

According to my understanding, gurmantar/beejmantarr and mool mantarr all all one and the same thing. Regarding ik ounkaar ... gurprasad, it is definately some mantarr but I dont think its mool mantarr. In the same way, at the starting of Sri Akal Ustat, there are 4 lines, Akaal purakh ke racha hamnai......... Sarbloh je kee sada racha hammnai. I consider this is some mantarr too. Japp is the name of the bani and aad sach..... nanak hosi bhi sach is the first salok of Sri Japji Sahib. Sri Jap Ji Sahib has 2 saloks and 38 stanzas.

I just put some rice and daal and pour some water, some salt and thats it, its gets cookked in my bata in 15 minutes. Khicchri is really good for stomach. People shud be eating khicchrrii as by eating heavy foods, people are just burning the nasal hair of humanity. Their dirty deadly missiles are killling the humanity.

My dog is my best companion. My dog does no chuggli, nindiyaa, doesnt play any politics, doesnt suffer from jealousy. When I do paath, my dog sits quietly and listens to paath. I trust my dog more than vast majority of humans.

Sikhi is a global religion. Many of the cultural habits and hypocratic lifestyles of punjabi/indian sikhs are prohibiting the spread of sikhi as a global religion. I personally would love to marry a gori amritdhari bibi than somebody from punjabi culture. So if there is some rishta of a gori bibi for a browny like me, please contact my parents as I am too shy, sharmeelaa to talk about my own marriage. I dont know why God has made me soo cute and soo sharmeelaa, hahaha

Veer, I agree that government agencies do dirty things, but we just cant blame it on government everytime. People in the panth want money and are ready to do anything for it. They are ready to use Guru Ghar, KHalistan movement, Gurbani, kirtan, etc.. anything for money.

In reality, we all our singhnis and Akal Purakh is our SINGH. We all are sisters.

Thats where Baba Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindrawale was so good. He was a LION. He knew how to deal with panth dokhis.

After doing my amritvela, everyday I make khiccrii. I cook it in my pyara sarbloh bata and do decent naam/bani abhiyaas while making it. For the last 2 weeks, my pyara cute pet dog was pretty sick and the medicine prescribled by the doctor wasnt doing anything. I began to give my dog my khiccri everyday and used to do my amritvela abhiyaas sitting besides my dog. Its amazing how the health of my dog started to improve. The doctor has been amazed as well. GOD BLESS MY DOG!

you do know that Guru Ram Das ji himself helped the original merchants set up shops around harimandir sahib? he wanted it to be a center of religious life, but he also wanted it to be a city. painting all shop keepers as robbers and cheats doesn't seem particularly in line with Guru ji's teaching that we should have jobs and do honest work. in fact, painting all shop keepers as bad while asking about farm land sounds like someone has a bit of caste/class bias. or did i misunderstand you again? I wrote in one of my earlier posts that the farming practices in Punjab are unethical and immoral. U are trying to attack me on almost every post I make. I have lived majority of my life in India and my personal experience with turbaned shopkeepers has been pretty bad. I agree kirt(job) is an unseparable part of a sikh's life, kirt is required to earn daily bread which is necessary to practice sikhi, but I feel in Sri Amritsar Sahib people are using sikhi to earn more money. That Chatar and Jeevan has been exposed and will be in newspapers tomorrow.

You forgot that many of these so called merchants openly robbed visitors to the Harimandir Sahib with their extortionate prices. If they wanted to do business they should be honest and charge fair prices. Then many of them sell that rice "parshad" which is not even parshad but just bulk buy fried rice which they package into little bags and then tell people it is phulia da parshad. Also the video mentions that money coul be spent on paint. Well it is painted every now and then but instead of getting specialist painters they get the local kar sewa baba gang to literally splash paint everywhere. A few months ago one so called kar sewa baba had the contract for painting the darshani deori taken away from him as he decided to paint the deori like a cheap tacky ice cream parlour using bright pink and other disgusting colours. So true. From my personal experience in life I feel that sikh merchants in Delhi and Sri Amritsar Sahib are even more corrupt than the hindu merchants. They lie all day and in the evening go to Gurdwara and seek forgiveness. This is due to the corruptness of such people that goraas or western people dont convert into sikhi.

we are going to enter a very dark period in the near future. Its HIGH time to chakk amrit and do AS MUCH KAMAYEE AS WE CAN in the next 2-4 years. People might call me crazy right now but u all figure out that I was right. So all people who want to chakk amrit, have a go at it and keep a decent rehit. TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

I am unemployed NRI (not really Indian). I sleep at 2 AM and listen to Nitnem from my laptop after 9 AM, and even then I am 75% asleep. I cannot live without caffeine, be it soda or chaa or coffee. I eat junk food from outside and have no Amritdhari sangat. Once in a while I watch old Hindi movies from the days of my jawanni (high school) without paying for them, and very rarely I listen to songs (Hindi/Punjabi) without paying for them as well. I don't keep any Bibek, only that I don't eat at any restaurant or other outlets here in US. I still have the blot of the blue color passport on my fate and I am not sure if these qualifications are enough for the chardi kala bibis of Bharat. By the way, I am not sure if I want someone from that mahaan desh either because I myself never grew up there. I was 1 when I left it because even at that age I knew that someday I would have to run anyways. Pyariyaa, from ur post it seems that u speak from your heart. You are honest with yourself and with other humans. If I was a bibi I would have married you, hahahahaha and made u wake up amritvela with a dandaaa.

i think it's absurd to think that anyone, anywhere, would suggest that it's in any maryada for a patit (drugs and drink being a bujjar kurehet) to perform amrit seva. and i don't think a "bunch of thugs" are doing amrit seva at Akal Takht today. I RESPECT the amrit of Sri Akaal Takht Sahib. But the same cannot be said about some other places. In ur previous post, u wrote that whatever Punj speak are instructions of Guru Sahib. I dont agree with this. We shud use GURBANI to find out the correct maryada.
