100 % right Singhballer ji the Gujratis came together and raised 40 million dollars to build the Swaminarayan Mandir politicians and everybody praised it, even the PM came, it was a huge celebration, then you look at our community, can you imagine what would happen if 40 million dollars was up for grabs? How much money would disappear if these corrupt commitee walas were in charge of such a project. Unfortunately management leaders in our community are far to small-minded and corrupt and have no accountability to sangat or God to ever accomplish anything like that. Dixie etc, can't even keep it's charitable status because funds are always being misappropraited and look what happened at Glidden with the golak scandal, I guess we are just cursed to keep building these little factory and house gurdwaras while our Hindu counterparts enjoy 40 million dollar mandirs in which to worship, obviously money is not everything, if there were good sevadars you could have a great house gurdwara but c'mon, look at the numbers of our community, are you telling me we can't even raise a few million dollars in a decade to build a half-descent Gurdwara? look at Dixie, they make millions in donations a year and they're still on phase one of paving the dirt parking lot for the last quarter century, what happened to the sports complex etc, they were building? At this rate nothing will ever get accomplished, even Muslims have built some pretty descent mosques in the gta, are we as a community that petty that we can't take charge and build anything community oriented?

Singhballer ji, could you please tell me which new Gurdwara was built and where and which new ones are being constructed, I know there's a sign near the hospital for a 'Springdale Singh Sabha' gurdwara, right now it's just a trailer I think alot of the 'gurdwaras' in Brampton are just peoples houses or farmhouses that have Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and so they register it as a gurdwara probably just to avoid taxes or something.

Matheen ji is absolutely right, Sikh Lehar either you are turning a blind eye to things or you completely lack any knowledge of your organization, you have not been straight up with the sangat on this issue of Darshan Ragi, and now that the sangat has exposed his involvement you have underhandingly stated that Gurdwaras do not allow Panthic speakers, implying that Darshan Ragi is panthic, Darshan Ragi was publically disgraced and declared an apostate from the Sikh Religion anyone who promotes him or seeks his sangat is also liable to be expelled. He is the most Anti-Panthic and divisive figure in Sikhism today, he is now trying to peddle his pakhand mat to the diaspora communities not because he respects them but because he thinks they are to naive to know who he is. How could you possibly think that the good and descent Sikhs of Brampton would gullibly attend such a shoddy function to openly court our own apostacy?

Matheen ji, From what I've heard, the Buddha Dal version is the edited version (as unedited versions are hard to come by even for Nihangs!) But Baba Santa Singh ji's commentary is based on the unedited version and comments on things that have been edited.

Prof Darshan Ragi was expelled from the Panth and is not allowed to enter a gurdwara so why would he be there? At the start of every lecture he asks the sangat to disbelieve in Dasam Bani amongst other derogatory comments. What kind of legitimate 'Tat Gurmat' institution would put the photo of such an Anti-Panthic dusht who has openly slandered our Tenth Father (and continues to do so) and invite him to speak publically when the takhts have been very specific to avoid him; this would not be happening in India, as Darshan Ragi knows he can only speak in banquet halls there. Obviously there is some high level collusion going on here because someone in your commitee who has an Anti-Panthic agenda has asked him to speak. Singh 1699 you are absolutely right, they are all disgruntled commitee break-offs, could you please list some of the other gurdwaras in Brampton as I am unaware of any others, I heard there's a nice on on Humberline and William's Parkway.

Good point Veerji, We are doing everything we can to let sangat know that false parchar is being done there, Ihave yet to meet one Singh who said they'd attend. It seems that they are catering towards the AKJ sangat as the AKJ exists in huge numbers in the gta so I just hope that our AKJ brothers don't get unwittingly roped in, as I've met many pro-Dasam Bani AKJ brothers here, but as a community we are not nearly as well organized as our UK counterparts.

You're right brother, there are two Nanaksar's in Brampton (Ray Lawson, one small one on Kennedy) Glidden and a new factory gurdwara on Fisherman's, I think there is a Tapoban on Derry also, then you have Malton just off Steeles and Dixie and Rexdale Guru Ghar really it's ridiculous, these existing commitees just fight each other so they can get the most sangat. there is no need for this 'center' especially since it is Kala Afghanist and aimed at brainwashing children into doubting Dasam Bani and sowing divisions in the panth.

This definately seems to be a more subtle form or wing of the Anti-Panthic Singh Sabha International hiding behind a charitable facade, It is very nice to talk about Akal Takht Jathedars and 'Tat Gurmat' by mixing it in with a mission statement that proposes to help drug addicts and old people while 'teaching children'. But when you go to www.sikhlehar.com what do you see? 3 Prof. Inder Singh Gugga lectures and another by the ex-communicated Darshan Ragi, (nobody puts things like that up without a clear agenda) there is a very nefarious purpose behind all these flowery aims, this is none other than a Kala Afghana brain-washing academy, Sikh Lehar International=Singh Sabha International if not directly, at least ideologically.

I've been to many programs/akhand paaths/kirtans with Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji prakash in basements, as long as proper respect is shown, i.e channi is hung above Guru ji, etc place is clean, it is fine people mainly do programs in basements simply because there is more open space for sangat to sit. The main thing is cleanliness and respect, i.e shouldn't be a bathroom above prakash etc. but usually people do plain prakash in an upstairs room.

Brother, Where did I say that I am a brahmgyani? I have meet and spoke with both of these great Mahapurukhs (talked to Sant Jagjit Singh ji for hours last week). I was talking to Kalyug because I know he is interested in Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa, Sant Jagjit Singh ji is completely against the use of meat or any kind of intoxicant and sant's words are one, not two or conditional, this is a question of maryada not brahmgyan, so who better to ask then someone who lives the maryada? Baba Nihal Singh ji has already answered these questions in his kathas online saying that sukha.chatkha is for war times.

For anyone who missed the beginning, Babaji sopke about the history of the nishan sahib and of the keshri bana worn as the color of sacrifice for the kaum. He also said we need to transcend the politics of Akali Dal and Congress and Hindu parties etc, which have engulfed us because being a Khalsa Nation we are really beyond all this and only dependent and accountable to the Guru and not to false organizations. Babaji also spoke about the sacrifice of Nihang Singhs who gave their heads for the Panth like Akali Poola Singh ji and who wore the farla as a nishan sahib on their sacrificed heads. Babaji then said that people think in their heads, 'what is the difference between me and a sant?' the answer is that in the bodily form there is no difference, but in bandagi and enlightened atma there is a huge difference.

In Babaji's katha today he basically talked about the power of naam to save sinners like Ajamal and said that constant simran of Waheguru is essential for liberation. I was lucky to spend more time with Babaji today, he happily shared some memories from his youth when he sometimes visited the Lopo Dera in Ludhiana where he had darshan of the Sants there and listened to the mythological and historical kathas, he also spoke of visiting the Sixth Guru's Gurdwara there as well as other sites blessed by shaheeds there.
