Test fail hogea, I didn't get your previous message ? .  Did you get mine today?

    Over and out .....

It would seem as I pointed out to @S1ngh, newly composed emails are working now, legacy email threads and a continuation of these with replies is where the issue requires rectifying.

Well the story itself I believe may be recorded, you will have to get @Singh123456777 to confirm if and where, it could well be seena baseena though. It's fairly well known in Sampardaic Sikhi. There was also a discussion about Mata Ji being Mata Baala Ji of 404th Charitr. Either way, Mata Sahib Devan has a past life which directly links her to Durga Devi/Chandi Devi.

The comment about locally was referring to folks in my locailty now believing the story wholeheartedly.

Ok having read 'some' of those pages, I'm also in agreement. I knew about Dusht Daman and that Durga went for help to Rishi to fight off the Daints, what I did not realise was that this Rishi was Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji incarnate and that she would come back as the wife of Dasmesh Pita.

It's true brother. But anything I say will be hearsay as I heard it locally.

Why, do you not believe it?

No idea, seems like we're all learning. First I've heard of it. Maybe heads been in the sand all these years lol. When you say locally, you mean seena baseena, or is it recorded?

On a serious note, I'm glad the story of Mata Sahib Devan being Durga is finally being accepted by the mainstream.

is this a windup or actually true? please post evidence, don't leave us guessing!

The suryavanshi one was not the akali nihang one. Nihangs always stuck with blue. The suryavanshi one was used by maharaj ranjeet singh ji.

From what I understand there were a number of battle standards, as Ranjit Singh had soldiers from a number of faiths and backgrounds could it be possible these were carried by the Gujjars?

This is an illustration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji travelling to Deccan. The katar, dhal and tulwar seem to be a common theme on the Sikh flags at least.

Best just to wear dastaar over ears!

I think I damaged the cartilage when I used to wear it over them.

Used to covering ears, plus dastar is more stable I find. Skin has hardened enough so no more pain..

you are such an 1d1ot ....Guru Nanak Dev ji was not a pacifist baba with a long white beard , he was a young vibrant man who confronted Babar to His face and spoke His Truth THE TRUTH , He carried a shastar to defend himself on his travels .

you are obviously unaware that Guru Nanak Dev ji was trained in Shastarvidhiya in fact he taught Baba Budda ji same who then taught Guru Har Gobind ji.

Guru Gobind Singh ji is not the start of the Sikh fauj , the foundations were laid by Guru Nanak Dev ji and built upon by each successive Guru Sahiban , even Guru Arjun Dev ji invited his sikhs to engage in wrestling bouts . There is no sikhi without physical preparedness to defend rights of ourselves and others.

You dare to equate yourself to Guru Sahiban ? they were not like other humans in fact they were pooran avatars unlike anything others , you preach about violence what about the facts of HIndu deities like Rama, Krishna , Arjun and their whole families were they not all violent and purely for their selfish reasons not for the betterment of humanity

Guru Sahiban di ninidya  karke tanu darr nahin lagda ... take your pervert paedophile Gandi and shove you warped mindset ... do not call you self a sikh you have more loyalty to your fake besharam brahmin

    pmd you

  8. No real category for this question so hear goes. For those based in UK, I'm after in ear headphones that are comfortable whilst wearing dastar, any suggestions will be welcome. TIA

Cant figure out if this guy if for real, but if he is might have to ask relatives in India to keep aside or sew fabric around my cheapo sony's :)

I disagree as it doesn't match or really substantiate Purtan documentations we have Rehit, but agree to disagree. A topic for another time.

That's fine, I would not expect everyone to be in agreement and tbf this debate has been done to death on numerous forums and needs selected vidhvaans to thrash out asap.

The 7 banis are actually the bare minimum. The ones that the SRM pushes are all altered and missing about a good few dohras and portions from the Puraan Rehras.

SRM is incomplete in itself, as several notable Gursikhs walked out of the initial meeting, it needs to be rechecked and re-examined. Pronto.

SRM may need to be checked but this is something that needs to be sorted within the wider Panth. At present I'd say it's the best well rounded document we have and should be followed by everyone.

Wow, I actually read that like a normal sentence.

Larivaar is difficult no doubt, but in the images above I was referring to the font.

Get used to it pretty quick regardless of font used, but I understand it may trick the mind initially.

    Amazing!

The first three images defo conjure up images of ancient Dharmic scriptures. They all do really. Some of them are a mission to read though.

The minimum a day as per Sikh rehat maryada is actually 5 (japji sahib, jaap sahib, tav parsad savaiye, rehras, kirtan sohila)

Good point, however the majority of the Panth follow the 7 bani maryada. SRM states bare minimum, but I'm happy reading the additional 2 recited during Amrit Sanchar. Without getting into a discussion, both are fine as I'm an avid supporter of SRM - the only true way to unite everyone!

Did they do their nitnem in jail

Do you mean are they allowed Gutka Sahibs in prison, the answer is yes? Really, as a minimum, 7 Nitnem banian should be kanth.

The act itself was an embarrassment, either that or something just does not stack up. Leaving the %^&*£$ fool with friction burns from blunt kirpans is like woah....just lost for words.
