Can you imagine, the Sikhs with Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji didnt feel pain, how can they themselves! It's missionary talk as they cannot see past scientific blinkers.

I'll probably the first to have that reaction LOL. Not giving these groups air time is akin to denying history, this is where what Niddar says makes sense to me at least, Sikhi was more than just Khalsa, each samparda had an intrinsic role to play and together we were stronger. This is where the Nihangs and Taksalis also used to align and there were less controversies.

Nope, me neither. Usually we'll have biased journalism, we need unfettered access to the Jathedars and the fauj if we're referring to the Dals. Then we need to cover the Nirmaley, Udasis and Taksal. For Taksal, my favoured person to speak to in the current climate is Brahmgiani Sant Mohan Singh Jee. Gaining access to them is tough for Singh's let alone a doc and on top of this they are birad. In the UK we still have access to Giani Gurdev Singh who can cover off the old Taksali Heritage.

Back then we lacked researchers who could convey the message clearly to programme makers in English. There is a need for more documentaries such as this in HD for future generations before we lose more of our great historical traditions. We have the luxury of using Kamalroop Singh (despite his recent episode), Giani Sukha Singh and if the Singh's in India deem fit maybe even Niddar or if not him Parmjit S.

Obviously this is not Sikhi related but the 3 part doc provides a fascinating insight in to the affair of this secretive regime and the gargantuan levels of corruption involved between the Royal Family and the West. True, reality is until we're 100% certain about such and such story, we really should refrain from playing a guessing game. In answer to the first question as that's all I can lol...Stating the truth cannot be deemed as Nindya as one is not concocting false stories to make oneself look superior. There is a BUT. Sometimes it's better to refrain from telling the truth if we think it can cause heartache. This is why, I'm unable to answer the second part, where DO WE draw the line, are we in a position to decide if someone should be warned about another persons shortfalls? Someone like @N30S1NGH I feel may have a suitable javaab!

They state 'The words of the mantra are irrelevant'. Do they mean for aam janta or anyone following Dharam other than Sikhi. Sikhs have Gurmantar, then why focus on Kirtam nam. Is Gurmantar superior or more complete than these? In the following pangti is Guru Sahib referencing the myriad names? ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜਾਉ ਜੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਵ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥

Although I already have a mantra, would you like to give me one of your choice to be used for simran? A. Were you initiated into the mantra? Q. Yes, by a female mystic called Ammachi a year and half ago. A. In that case holy initiation once is enough, and it's better to stick with the first one because initiation is a very sacred thing, and also because there's no difference since the shakti (life force/energy) via all the differing initiations from diverse spiritual paths comes from always the same source. The words of the mantra are irrelevant, the essential invisible thing is the shakti that was transferred and that is put into motion every time you recite it silently within.
