GuruFateh, I have just caught some news on Raaj Fm driving home from work. The presenter had a caller on line live from Delhi where apparently there has been some trouble. The caller said the Fateh March was due to spend night at a Gurdwara but the Nagar kirtan inc panj piare and Guru Sahib whre refused entry. Then there was afight and the sangat overpowerd the commitee. Can anyboby provide any more info? Pul Chuk Maaf.

Giani Pinderpal Singh Ji will be doing Katha at Guru Nanak Gurdwara High Street Smethwick tonight Mon 6th July 6pm - 7pm follwed by Bhai Gurpreet Singh.

I heard this morning on Raaj Radio that Giani Pinderpal Singh Singh will be doink Katha at 6pm - 7pm. So maybe 7pm - 8pm?

Brilliant program Can't wait for the next one. This should be a regular program at least once every year.

Awsome kirtan by Bhai Sahib yesterday at Loughborough yesterday, shame he was on near the end of the day. Tonight at Smethwick Guru Nanak Gurdwara High Street and broadcast on Sikh Channel i think. Does any body know the time.

Gurufateh. I understand Bhai gurpreet singh Shimla is going to attend UK in July 2009. I have heard that he will be in Guru Nanank Gurdwara Smethwick High Street july 6th all week and then at a kirtan darbar at Bebe Nanaki Gurdwar on Sat july 11. Can somebody please confirm this at i can't see anything on the events section. Thanks. :rolleyes:

According to AKJ calender there is a Rhensbhai at Bebe Nanaki Gurdwara Handsworth, Birmingham on the same evening. This is just down the road, so definately a CLASH! (( (( ((

Guru Fateh I visited the 'Unique Home' whilst in India last year. The building has a hatch on the front in which after dark people 'deposit' baby girls. Sometimes they have names and dates of birth etc, otherwise they are given them by the staff. the centre looks after the girls: food, clothing, education. A very good cause to donate towards. The experince left me feeling humbled by the ladies who run the centre, and disbelif at how people can just abandon their babies just because they are girls. :'( Wow thats amazing, Bhaji/Penji do you have any photographs of your stay there? Halal: Fit for consumption by muslims so for muslims meat must be reliougsly sacrifcied, but for non-meat items marked halal they should be fine to eat(?)

Thanks for the info... By the way he was no friend of mine, just some <banned word filter activated> i bumped into who happened to be wearing a kara and talking to somebody i knew about Lohri. After he challenged me, I did give him some replies but looking back i think what i wanted to express was a bit mixed up and i got a bit flumoxed. He obviusly has had this argument with someone elese before. But it upset me and i couldn't help going over it in my head afterwards, and then thinking i should have said this..., and mentioned that... I think though it was a test on me. I shall now endevour to gain knowledge so that if my identity is attacked again in public then i know how to give a good comprehensive reply that makes sense and shuts people up. ))))
