  1. Post after post of storys and history no one has even mentioned that the Udaasi Sadhu has given up the distractions of normal life to meditate on Naam.
  2. I was reading todays hukamnama from Darbar Sahib and at the end of the Hukamnama it states "Nanak begs for the dust of the Saints." Why is it that in todays Sikhi we seem to beg for the Blood of saints, where as a Satguru, Brahmgiani Guru Nanakji who is aap Parmeshwar begs for the dust of the saints. Do we have the right to do anyones Nindya let alone Sant ke Nindya, as we have no way of measuring someones Kamai/Bhagti? Only someone with Kamai can see the Kamai of another. SOOHEE, FIFTH MEHL: I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, the Merciful Lord. Please, bless me with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Perfect, Compassionate Lord. || 1 || Pause || Please, grant Your Grace, and cherish me. My soul and body are all Your property. ||1|| Only meditation on the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, will go along with you. Nanak begs for the dust of the Saints. || 2 || 32 || 38 ||
  3. In the Sukhmani Sahibji, Sri Guru Arjan Devji mentions Sadhu and Sant and I agree with you they are all fighting the 5 evils and are vulnerable to these and as you mention are below the level of a Sat Guru. But Guruji also mentions Brahmgiani which are above the 5 evils, Hankaar. Wouldnt that make them Satguru?
  4. Thanks for this I appreciate you sharing this with us and backing up your words with text from our holy scriptures unlike some people on these forums (SinghUnit). "DvADAS ROOP SATGUR E KEYTH, DvADAS BHAN PRAGAT HAR SANTA" My Punjabi is not so good could you translate these words in english for me please, it would be good if you could print the whole paragraph of bani rather that just a sentence as this could give me a better context of the meaning. Thanks again...
  5. As a Sikh I am using this thread to learn about Sikhi, about something I find quite confusing and conflicting to what I have read. I thought this was the power of the Sangat and thats why I have raised this topic. SinghUnit, you have contributed 2 posts to this topic of no relevance, no knowledge and nothing of any help to any Sikh. Please only add to this forum if you have anything related to Sikhi that you would like to share with the sangat not trouble making or narrow minded comments of no substence.
  6. I posted this in a previous topic but got no reply so posted as a topic itself... "I always see people say 'NO HUMAN GURU. NO GURU AFTER DHAN GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI' on these forums but cant find this quoted anywhere can someone tell me where this is written in SGGSji or anywhere else." When I read SGGSji I feel that this is not the case, I cant read punjabi and rely on English translations and wonder whether im losing the meaning of the message in translation.
  7. I always hear people say 'NO HUMAN GURU. NO GURU AFTER DHAN GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI' but cant find this anywhere can someone tell me where this is written in SGGSji or any other material. Thanks in advance
