why should we hate hindus when guru gobind singh gsve so much love to aurangzeb for all you muslim haters, i have a lot of muslim friends. from pakistan and india. remember, think of mankind as one. don't label other people. yes sikhs need khalistan but doesn't mean we need to hate hindus and muslims. they can hate us as much as they won't like Aurangzeb, but we must always show them compassion. but at the same time, don't let anyone trample on your rights

sant jarnail singh ji still being alive is a myth started by the indian government like how he slipped into pakistan. if sant ji is in hiding than he wouldn't be a sant after all that has happened. the myth was started so that when singhs would go to other singhs houses saying jago. then the other singh would say, i'm not gonna fight yet i'm waiting for sant ji to return. there are no sikh leaders right now. and those few that are around are too powerless to be able to do anything. United We Stand, Divided We Fall. we are falling. there is only one sikh leader that i have faith in, bhai jeevan singh. (no i'm not akj, i'm part of no jatha, i'm part of the khalsa panth) all our leaders are puppets attached to really long strings.

think about western society. the guy chases the girl. its not the other way around. most punjabi guys go for a punjabi girl because they sometimes have it in there mind that girls of other ethnicities won't like a "brown guy". this doesn't mean that the guys don't like girls of other ethnicities, they do but don't act on it. so most punjabi guys chase the punjabi girl or are just to scared to chase any girl. punjabi girls on the other hand are the ones being chased. so if a sikh girl likes a guy of another ethnicity, they will know sooner or later.

simple but very difficult solution. make the gurudwara feel like a community center and not "that place my parents make me go every wednesday and saturday". this will only happen in the next generation when the westernized youth takes control. face it the older generation uses there old traditional ways and don't want much to change. plus too much fighting going on in many gurudwaras. imagine this, you don't know much punjabi and go to the gurudwara. you sit inside and people speak a language that you don't understand. we are a lazy community. once we become an active community with camps, seminars, activities, and events. then we may finally be able to have some influence on these sikh girls. i have some friends that know more spanish than punjabi, that is sad.

i believe that the everyday sikh is more of a parcharak than any sant, ragi, or katha vachik. if you notice, people who stay around amritdhari sikhs begin to learn a lot about sikhi and many take amrit because they are around good sangat. i know many people who have taken amrit because of the sangat they stay in. i have only meet one auntie who said she was going to take amrit because sant ranjit singh was here, but she said the main reason was because back in Delhi she had an amritdhari friend who she promised that one day she would take amrit. i always think of it as, love your guru more than any person. i'm not trying to be a baba basher, just saying that sangat is most powerful. i met someone in rajistan who has taken amrit 4 times. when the local sant comes, he takes amrit, after he misses alcohol and goes back to his old ways.

i think what the panth needs the most is humility. everyone just walks around calling themselves the top dog letting there ego influence them. this most of the time drives away all the humble true gursikhs. my opinion.

who does badal think he is. even ranjit singh, an emperor, knew that you don't interfere with the Akal Takht. there no longer is a Sarbat Khalsa. our jathedars are disrespected and being the Akal Takht Jathedar has been made into just an employee of the Akali Dal. SAD is sad. no longer do we have jathedars like Jathedar Akali Phoola Singh. i do ardas for people like Badal and Makkar because they will suffer in Wahegurus court if they don't change there ways.

i think its ok, but it doesn't mean that people won't be staring. people ly down at smagams all the time.

the only person that i have faith in is bhai Jeevan Singh. why is it that Baba Deep Singh isn't considered a Sant while anyone with a few followers wearing all white with a round turban that can do kirtan is an automatic Sant. Becoming a "sant" nowadays is as easy as applying for a job at the local supermarket.

if you ever talk to him personally, you will find out how much he loves sikhi

i only agree with some kinds of babek. but those people who don't even eat from langar is a bit extreme because even guru gobind singh ate from muslim households. sometimes it seems to the point of brahmins like if a non amritdhari touches there food, it will become polluted. brahmin practice "hello". not to totally bash on babek, but there are some extremes. i want to keep babek too, meaning i want to spot eating out. i'm trying to take it gradually. its probably hardest for those living alone.

i say since your married, you should tell your wife because your spouse is you biggest companion. the best thing is to talk about it and not let it build up. your family can give you emotional support which is always a helping factor. evryones had these feelings before and most of the times we get over them.

can anyone list the different places that you can end up in after death and the differences between them like the difference between sachkhand and heaven. i know about sachkhand but never knew that there was an inferior heaven to it.

between 1-3 yrs is no big deal. i personally wouldn't be comfortable marrying anyone if there is a 10 year or so age gap. just think about it, when you graduated high school or were in college, your spouse was just in elementary. it would feel like marrying your baby sisters friend in a way. imagine being around the age of 18 to 20, would you be comfortable looking at someone 10 years younger in the way you look at your spouse. just my point of view.

i think there is nothing wrong with a hierarchy as long as it doesn't into something that makes anyone feel that they are better than someone else or until equality is an issue.

i'm an organ donor an i'm happy about it. my body is goning to be burned anyways so whats the point of keeping things are no use to us anymore. i would consider it a seva. i want someone to take my eyes for some reason.
