I think you are missing the point here. I disagree with the converted guy, as he left his religion because of certain situation. It is like saying, "I am willing to give up my dharam whenever i need to". I believe that is what you are supporting here? Are you in support of the guy who converted to another religion? I would be sympathetic with him and will probably give him money now or then as i believe that we should help all garreeb regardless of the RELIGION, caste, race, age etc... I know the first hand situation of the rural village. I have spent more than 3 months going back and forth to understand the rural problems.. We (me, my friends and hundreds of SikhSangat.com forum users) donated close to 20 grand via SikhGiving and helped many of our brothers and sisters back in Punjab. One of our current project is bit related to the video you posted but it was bit different as the patient was strong enough to say NO to the christian missionaries. Guru jee always test humans and it is upto us whether we are strong enough to stay strong with our dharam or not. Have a good read here. Like i said , you have plenty to be thankful for !!! Please tell us all the answer to the folloowing : if people are strong enough to live through poverty and hunger then why have so many Sikhs converted to Christianity ?????? I am glad very happy to here that you have been in the villages of Punjab but it looks like you have not really grasped the depth of the Christian onslaught , i hope one day i too can spend 3 months in Punjab. You are so underestimating the despration and hopelessness of poverty !!!!

I NEVER said i had problems with Pracharaks , what i said and will stick to is that i have huge problem with "super sants/babas who visit western countries and collect millions of $$ and do nothing for the ordinary people of Punjab. These same babas very energetically and viciously attacked Babu Mann and yet NONE of them held a smagam for the 25th Anniv of the Delhi massacres !!!! I have a very high regard for all Pracharaks but not self styled super sants/baba ruffians !!!

Is everyone naive or just plain stupid !!! The current committee is made up of "businessmen " who have massive finanacial interests in Panjab . These "Panthic " people wine and dine ALL politicians including Badal . How the hell did anyone really think they are Panthic, more like pathetic. The current committe in Southall always has the same phrase to get rid of people , " we will talk about it in the meeting ".Maybe its time for the youth to make it clear to these Brahmins in dastars that its time for a change, its time for every Guru Gobind Singh Ji's lions to roar at the doorsteps of the traitors and show them we will not be subdued by their ill gotten riches and gundas. Good point, although it wouldn't be so far fetched to think that at least some men might have brought their wives along to get darshan of Guru Sahib. If today men find it hard to bring their women along nowadays then what chance was this happening 300 years ago !!!
