I had same problem when you tie your jooda ... don't pull the hair out to make it tight, keep it lose and make it look like a galibi (the ornage sweet round food thing ) now your hair should be flat (almost) on your head.. to keep it flat while you tie a pagh you have to tie a parakha on your head so your pagh's laar don't slip off and your hair does not fall apart. When you tie your parakha don't do the top part do it like a black guy. Now you should have fin go ahead tie your pagh for more help pm

Easy to say... Would "YOU" take that from another person even if he is a sikh and your family is next to you. I won't ! And people have said try to change the older men and women also.. True true but thats very very hard for a few reasons "many" (not all) are not open minded, And this is shown over the whole Dasmas Grant issues. Lastly we can not think about teaching about Sikhi, When the people running the Gurudawaras don't know what the word Sikh means. All they know is about "money"

well said There's no point trying to change the older men and women..It's the youth that need to taught I learned alot by just visting this site once's or twice a day. There needs to be more focus on "Sikhi" and not "punjabi" or "Jatt"
