We will only fight when we forget Guru Ji's Sikhya. Guru Ji teaches us to be dassan de dass (servants of the servants). We often want to be high and mighty rather than panth de sevadaar. Being high and mighty will lead to arguments and fights. All purartan accompolished mahan Gursikhs never engaged in any fighting or arguing they just concentrated on earning Gurbani.

All the people I know who have listened to this katha have all increased their nitnem and Amrit vela. All the people feel very anadat with this katha. I would highly recommend this katha for the sangat in pinds etc. since it assumes no prior knowledge of Gurbanbi. When I was in Punjab recently I asked people in the pind why they didn't attend Gurdwara Sahib regularly to listen to Gurbani and kirtan. The people of the pinds say that they cannot understand the Gurbani without simple Punjabi viakhya. There is an abundance of katha available to the sangat with Waheguru's mehar but the larivaar katha by GTSP is an excedllent seva.

Read Gurbani daily. Reflect on what you have read. Your own Athma will answer all your questions for you.

As in all things in life "practice makes perfect". keep trying to maintain Amrit Vela and at the same time do ardas for Guru Ji's Mehar. Our biggest mistake is when we think "we " are keeping rehat. It is entirely Guru Ji's mehar. It cannot be achieved without their kirpa. The preet that we should have regarding rehat is the preet that a fish has with water. If we keep the preet then Guru Ji does mehar.

Guru Ji's Mukhtee Nama states that a Sikh must remain celibate until Anand Karaj.

(੬੧-੭, ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ, ਮ ੧) ਭੁਲਣ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਅਭੁਲੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ॥ bhulan andhar sabh ko abhul guroo karathaar || Everyone makes mistakes; only the Guru and the Creator are infallible. If a Sikh shows sincere remorse for previous actions then Guru Ji forgives.

Your scenario is not unique. If we look at the world around us it is"Nanak Dukhia Sabh Sansar". That's the way Waheguru plays the game. There is a way out of the dukh. Wake up at amrit vela , do ishnaan , read/listen to Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Place a glass of a water besides you. After the paath drink the water and give the same water to your spouse/family members. If there is any aspect of your physical relationship that you are uncomfortable with then explain this to your spouse in a gentle and loving way. SriSukhmani Sahib will cure all your problems but have patience.

Guru ji's mukhtee nama states that a Gursikh cannot marry into their own surname or the maternal nanakay surname.

Kalyug is the raja of this era. The raja can pass any law he wishes. Kalyug cannot abide people arising at amrit vela and engaging in Waheguru. All the traditional Gursikhs defeated kalyug by reading/listening to Sri Sukhmani Sahib at amrit vela in conjunction with other nitnem. When you feel sleepy during simran , change your approach i.e. walk around , have a strong tea/coffee. Sometimes the mind becomes bored or distracted with one method of simran , therefore change methods. For example when mind becomes aaki of reading gurbani then listen to kirtan/katha/read a dharmik granth etc. Waking at amrit vela and doing ishnaan gives us the same spiritual power as donating a huge amount of gold. The ultimate aim of manukha janam is to do suaas suaas simran but this can be difficult for some people. The easiest method is: Wake up at amrit vela , do ishnaan and read/listen to Sri Sukhmani Sahib.

ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖੜਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਿਵਿ ਨਿਵਿ ਲਾਗਉ ਪਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥ जो दीसै गुरसिखड़ा तिसु निवि निवि लागउ पाइ जीउ ॥ Jo ḏīsai gursikẖ▫ṛā ṯis niv niv lāga▫o pā▫e jī▫o. When I see a Sikh of the Guru, I humbly bow and fall at his feet

ਮਿਲੈ ਅਸੰਤੁ ਮਸਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਰਹੀਐ ॥੧॥ मिलै असंतु मसटि करि रहीऐ ॥१॥ Milai asanṯ masat kar rahī▫ai. ||1|| Meeting with an unsaintly person, just remain silent. ||1||

When we take Amrit we become Guru walay. When we become Guru walay , Guru Ji takes care of everything else.

Why do we wash everyday? Why do we wash clothes regularly? Why do we clean our house daily? Without doing the above daily , everything becomes unclean & unpleasant. In the same way if we don't engage in Nitnem , sewa , katha , kirtan , simran everday day our mind will revert back to the polluted and uclean state. That is why.
