My younger sister used to do martial arts...she just used to wear a sweat band and that should be fine, it is all you really need to do...you shouldnt have to take your kara off, as the kara has been given by our guruji to be worn on our wrists....not in our pockets. ~ But then again that is just my opinion on this topic....pul chuk maf if i have said anything wrong though. :rolleyes: Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh!

Hi, i recieved an email:- "this guy in middlesex who claims to see guru nanak dev ji in his dreams, who says 'u r my son to this guy', and apparently loads of singhs are going to him. He says to singhs to come to him and he'll meet them with the guru, and he wants money for what hes doing" Hes claiming to be the 11 th guru and hes disrespecting our guru granth sahib ji, and we shouldnt let this happen! I dont know if what is happening in middlesex is true or not but....can someone confirm this and where did they get the information from? Thanks Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh!

Vaheguru, i knew one of the guys...Satvir Singh, and i had seen Hervinder Singh..he was always at Sedgley Gurdwara ... since he was a young lad he was always seen at the Gurdwara...both were bright young lads. Satvir Singh was very chatty, was always smiling and u cld realli see the pyaar he had for Sikhi. All three of these guys became pyaare to Guru ji, so it was der time to go...may we neva forget what a huge inspiration these guys have been...Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh!

Hi im from a UK and i had jus moved to a new skool wen September da 11th had happened, and ppl were calling me a terrorist, and one person even threw an aeroplane at me...my friends saw this and they went wid us to tell da teacher. I was soo angry dat i went strait to da head of year and they sorted it out, i suppose i was very lucky there. But if you are having any problems ask the headmaster if u can do a presentation infront of da whole skool on Sikhi so that u can teach these ignorant ppl more about Sikhi and why we proudly wear our dastaars and stories...etc. I know someone who once did that so why not try that, it may make these people realise hwo wrong they were. If you do not want to do the presentation yourself then ask another a few Sikhs to come in and do a presentation instead. You could always go on Mrsikhnet.com , and ask da guy whose site it is if he can help you out (sorry i cant remember it rite now) I hope this has given u sum ideas...or anyone else who needs help. Great news! alot of people are coming to da rehnsabai, and we got realli wicked kirtanis cumin down from all ova da UK...so we hope dat everyone and anyone can make it....da details of da Gurdwara has been given by bhaji. By da way i meant to say the rehnsabai strts on da 11th march 6pm and finishes 12 march 6pm (7pm)...sorry dat was my mistake oops! :umm: Well we hope everyone can cum down from da UK...and for da ppl who cant make it and arent from da UK...den hopefully will get it recorded and put up on da net...but we will just have to see first! WJKK WJKF! There is a 24 hr rehnsabai in wednesfield in da UK on March 11 - March 12th.....it will begin at 6pm and will finish at 6pm the next day!!! WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Ive been told that when u comb your hair you are meant to burn your hair, but why? where does sit say you have to do that? :T: :T: I mean like it's dead hair you are combing it out to keep your hair clean so why should we not throw it in the bin...after all it is dead hair. I know that hair is one of our 5 k's but wen u comb ur hair u should be able to throw away da dead hairs so there should be no need to burn them! I've heard people pile their dead hair's up in a bag and no offence but i think that's very unhygenic...because you are gathering up dead hairs! bul chuka di maf karni!
