  1. Hanji Sheikhyobooty ji sorry wrote wrong penji, was meant to write Singhni Miripiri penji, Thanku for correcting me.
  2. Do u read out aloud with the audio? Try reading urself as the audio is playing but as if u are talking to God urself and they are sitting in front of you. You are concentrating too much on how to pronounce rather than doing it with relaxed loving flow. Not that you aren't doing with love, but u are aware of the pronounciation more. You are trying to perfect it so much that it's stressing you out and you probably go back and repeat the lines that you feel u have not pronounced properly. If you read the written romanised version along with the audio it should help. Sehje sehje don't worry about how long you have been doing it for, just understand the translation and it the pronounciation will come naturally. Also listen to others reciting Gurbani in Gurmukhi such as YouTube videos and read along with them if not out aloud then semi out aloud. Have you tried these? Don't feel bad about the pronounciation, God knows you are doing from your soul. So what is more important you do with love? Or just pronounce it properly without the love for God? Pronounciation alone is not going to spiritually absorb the Gurbani by your soul. Read the words you struggle on pronouncing slowly, pause in between the letters. And do this way then slowly you will get used to the sound of them and automatically be able to pronounce with ease.
  3. Don't worry Kira ji bro, I didn't mind what u said, was just explaining as to why so if others wonder why I asked. ? guess I should use a few emoticons too, ??? like urs and penji Sikhni777's cartoons ?
  4. Jacfsing2 ji, I'm not being sciency, just being practical with gristhi Jeevan. One needs both, spiritual and gristhi Jeevan in order to solve problems as they should go hand in hand with each other. It is not wise to neglect health awareness where cognitive or emotional issues are present. Hanji u are right each has there own ways to help each other out, but sometimes we forget the basic things of daily life.

    Masturbation:

The urinary/reproductive is counted as one I think. Somebody else asking same question: http://www.sikhmatrimonials.com/sikhnet/youth.nsf/by+Date/ecb77ad7a32a260287256aff003eda2d!Open
  6. Kira ji the reason I asked those questions is because some vitamin, mineral and nutritional deficiencies may also cause low mood or depression symptoms, such as b12 or D. They can affect anybody be it adults or children, so a doctor would more likely do a blood test first if there are ongoing emotional problems.

  8. Have you been to the doctor ? How are your blood tests? When was the last time u had one?

  10. I think this topic has been discussed before. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/77678-the-future/?hl=planet#entry640154 You are posting the same topic.
  11. Hi Deborah, try the number in the Facebook link. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gurdwara-Nanak-Dwara-Liverpool/1449227901967858
  12. Don't worry dear child CanadianSingh, WaljinderSingh ji and others have asked you if you are satisfied with the answers so far? Do you understand what they mean? As Harsharan ji says do not rely on what others ask for, but what you experience and learn yourself. There is no point in stressing to please others, it's simple if others want proof tell them to go and research themselves and you just ask what you want to not what others expect. Everybody has their own spiritual journey, maybe due to your age you are not able to fully understand all the answers, but keep it simple.
  13. Hanji he has done a few on karm. Following on from Kira jis post of Gods will. What is hukam and do we have free will within it?
  14. Yes Preetji I think they are worded differently that's all, but same meaning.
  15. Hanji Sikhni777 ji I agree one will not realise when they give darshan and how. I have heard stories too where they realised until after. God shows themselves through others like you said when they need communicate something to somebody, not that the person is to be thought of as God, but one will receive help or a message via a means(channel).
  16. Lovely story Sikhni777 ji.
  17. I'm sorry I don't know much but to my understanding the Jot (light) of the Lord came through Guru Nanak Dev ji to put the world on the right path of Truth. but again another's interpretation maybe Different.
  18. Who are we to say who they give darshan to? That is to whoever is destined to receive or whoever they wish to with the grace of God. Agam agocẖar ḏaras ṯerā so pā▫e jis masṯak bẖāg. The Blessed Vision of Your Darshan is unapproachable and incomprehensible; he alone obtains it, who has such good destiny recorded upon his forehead. Koi vadhbhagee nu milde aise darshan. Gur samrath apār gur vadbẖāgī ḏarsan ho▫e. The Guru is All-powerful, the Guru is Infinite. By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained. Sanṯ pi▫āre sacẖai ḏẖāre vadbẖāgī ḏarsan pāvṇi▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Beloved Saints were established by the True Lord. By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of their Darshan is obtained. Ḏevaṇhāre kai hath ḏān. The Gift is in the Hands of the Great Giver. Don't worry about parthak darshan, just praise God. One receives darshan of all the Gurus through Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji through Gurus shabad with Gods grace.
Jo hamrī biḏẖ hoṯī mere saṯigurā sā biḏẖ ṯum har jāṇhu āpe. My condition, O my True Guru - that condition, O Lord, is known only to You. Ham rulṯe firṯe ko▫ī bāṯ na pūcẖẖ▫ṯā gur saṯgur sang kīre ham thāpe. I was rolling around in the dirt, and no one cared for me at all. In the Company of the Guru, the True Guru, I, the worm, have been raised up and exalted. Ang 167 SGGS

  21. Thank you dear child for telling that. Ask as you wish, hopefully your questions will get answered as best as one can. Sorry if you felt upset by my questions dear child.
  22. Okji thank u dear child for telling us that. Don't be afraid to ask anything, there are some helpful people here.
  23. The thing is nobody knows anybody here, but if a child goes onto a forum and genuinely asks questions, then as adults it is duty to deal with it in best way as possible. Although there maybe doubts, Nothing is 100% guaranteed as to who anybody is on the Internet.so when a poster writes they are so and so age, then it would be wise for one to deal with it that way.
