my cousin married some 7 years ago . Before marriage , he was a nice person . My aunty ( taai ) is a widow . she raised him and his brother with great difficulty . After marriage , some years ago his wife strayed him , took him to radhasoamis and he became a radhasoami . Now , he greets others with "Radhasoami". he stopped going gurudwaras and both frown at sikhi and 5 Ks. He trimmed his beard but keeps turban . But , now his wife and his in-laws have made him turn against his widow mother . He took more than his share of money when my aunty selled some land .He speaks in very bad , uncivil words with his mother . Now , even his mother is cursing him now . does this sudden development of monster from a nice man has anything to do with teachings of radhasoamis ?

I was seeing live telecast of kirtan from harmandar saheb in evening . In a close up shot of camera , I saw a baby sitting in lap of a man ( maybe his / her father ) next to amrit sarovar . He / she was overjoyed and moving his hands up and down as if trying to go in someone's embrace . The baby was facing darbar sahib . Seeing that overjoyed baby , made me feel as if he / she was seeing something pleasing ! So , can babies see souls and such things .? I suppose this topic does not sound stupid . LOL !

Dear chatanga , You have your own opinion and I respect it . I partly agree with you what you are saying ! There must be some truth in vedas ! But , its all lost ! Today Guru Granth Sahib ji is only guide for those who try to depend on vedas . Have you ever read vedas ( or even geeta ) ? Language is so so difficult to understand and only in sanskrit which only brahmans studied ! On the contrary , our gurbani is full of different words of different language . Language is so so simple and words are so sweet ! Guru is so nimarta . Is there such nimarta in bhagwad geeta ? no . It is more like an order . But , in gurbani alone , you hear words like " bhai re " , "pyaare " , "saadho". Words are full of affection. No comparison to hinduism . ONE more point ! You said karma , dharma , reincarnation , 84 lakh joons are hindu concepts . But , aren't these universal concepts ( free from religions ) ? ( like how gravity is universal law ) .

Yes , I agree completely with you veerji . RSS is not for hindus , just for brahmans . Brahmans destroyed buddhism 1 millenium back and mixed jainism with hinduism ( How many jains today say that they are separate from hindus ? hardly any ! ) . Jainism is distinct from hinduism but it is now destroyed by brahmans . Buddhism was major religion in India 1000 years back ! what happened ? where did all buddhists went ? Buddha was made avatar of vishnu , even though he isn't an avtar of vishnu. Brahmans ( not all hindus ) think that they can do same thing with sikhi . I am dead sure they can't do it with sikhi , because we have kirpans . Buddhists only had rosary ,not kirpan ! BUT , it in now way means we should keep mum over whats happening behind our backs by these bahmans .

Dear chatanga , The way that article is written just makes a sikh feel uneasy . Hindus have been saying since ages that sikhs are our brothers , but the site link I gave has more like a RSS mentality . Infact , if you explore the site ( which I did ) , it carries the same old RSS propaganda . Hinduism and Sikhism maybe similar , but please remember that idol worship and many other things are not accepted in sikhi .

If Sikhi is not original , then do you mean it is just a refined and more spiritual version of Hinduism ? Do you mean to say there is nothing new in Siri Guru Granth Sahib which is not found in vedas and upanishads . forgive me , i maybe confused at your answers . or maybe you think nothing in sikhi is new . everything is copy pasted from other indian religions.

Whenever I read about what happened in 1984 after Indira gandhi's death , it sends a chill down my spine . I can't even visualize the situation in my mind . I was born 5 years after that massacre . what is our ultimate Goal in life ?

I failed in my exam . It was my last year of degree. So I was wondering when should I reappear for exams . If I reappear for october , then maybe I will get two results , current one and a new one . ( which is not good ) . Also , if I reappear in march , then it waste of too much time but I get new certificate . So , now I was in a "dubidha". I did ardas to Guru and took hukamnama but it was not clear what to do . And chola ( baana ) that Guru Gobind Singh ji gave us is only uptil knees . Things are going to be bad in near future . Already ,, they are bad much but in future ( near future ) , things are going to be really really bad . Waheguru Bhalla kare . BTW , Maharaj ( dasam pita ji ) has said "Tabe roos cheen hind pe chad aave " meaning "Angry china will march over India . Now , these HINDUstanis will come to their senses and justice will be delivered with all that they have done with the sikhs.

Guru Nanak devji has warned nations that when they become politically , socially and religiously corrupt , God sends someone to punish them . Last time , it was babur . Today India is standing at same position . Just look at how much of corruption and scandal is going on in Commonwealth games money? leaders are corrupt beyond shame . No one is religious .
