Sunil Kumar Divya Sharma Tribune News Service Amritsar, June 11 Clad in an Indian attire, Fernanda Vazqufz of Mexico can be mistaken for an Indian for her local resemblance. A professor and researcher atMetropolitan Autonomous University, Mexico City, she is back in the city after a gap of 10 years to continue with her study on the impact of 1984 Operation Bluestar and riots on Sikh women who lost their husbands during the militancy era. Now, she shall be focusing on the impact on the younger generation of such families and their lives. She says most of the widows feel that there voices have not been heard. Any kind of violence shall result in more violence. “I met a number of Sikh women, who lost their husbands during the Operation Bluestar and anti-Sikh riots. Most of them felt that they were left on their own and no support was provided to them by the government. Besides, they also feel that there grievances and voices have gone unheard,” she says. Her study also includes changes in their lives as the socio-economic scenario of Punjab. With this study, Vazqufz aims at give voice to the fairer gender. The study also points out the changed perception of the sufferers towards the government. Her study covers Sikhs, particularly widows, residing in Delhi, Amritsar and nearby areas. Talking about her journey from Mexico to Punjab, Vazqufz says, “I was reading about a conflict in Kashmir in one of our dailies. I researched more about Indian conflicts. I chose the era post Punjab militancy, anti-Sikh riots and aftermath as I could relate to an incident back home wherein the Mexican Army took action against locals in 1960s. The desire to known more has brought me here. I have covered Sikh widows here in Amritsar and Delhi for 1984 Operation Bluestar and anti-Sikh riots, respectively.” Vazqufz, who teaches contemporary Indian history back home, is now focused on the changes in lives of these women and hope, aspirations of the younger generation of such families. “A lot has changed over the years. There lives have moved forward. I shall be focusing on the same this time,” she adds.

  3. UK Judge Orders Operation Blue Star Related Files To Be Made Public Judge Murray Shanks, who presided over a three-day hearing of the First Tier Tribunal (Information Rights) in London in March, ruled yesterday that a majority of the files relating to the period must be made public. All India | Press Trust of India | Updated: June 13, 2018 03:23 IST The files that must now be released include papers on UK-India relations from 1983 to 1985. (File) London: A UK judge has ordered the declassification of documents that are expected to shed further light on Britain's involvement in Operation Blue Star in 1984, dismissing the British government's argument that the move could damage diplomatic ties with India. Judge Murray Shanks, who presided over a three-day hearing of the First Tier Tribunal (Information Rights) in London in March, ruled yesterday that a majority of the files relating to the period must be made public and rejected the UK government's argument that declassifying the Downing Street papers would damage diplomatic ties with India. The judge, however, did accept that one file marked "India: Political", from the UK's Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC), could contain information that relates to British spy agencies MI5, MI6 and GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) and therefore the Cabinet Office was entitled to rely on a technicality that exempts such material from the Freedom of Information (FOI) request appeal. "We recognise that the period we are concerned with was a highly sensitive one in India's recent history and the strength of feeling it continues to evoke... it should also be remembered that the fact that 30 years has gone by is bound to have reduced any prejudice that may have resulted from release of the withheld material," the judgment notes. The FOI appeal was handled by KRW Law on behalf of freelance journalist Phil Miller, who has been investigating the exact nature of the then Margaret Thatcher led government's assistance to the Indian Army operation on Golden Temple in Amritsar. In 2014, UK government documents declassified under the 30-year rule to make such material public had revealed that British military advice was given to Indian forces prior to Operation Blue Star. Then British Prime Minister David Cameron had ordered a review into this discovery, named as the Heywood Review, which led to a statement in Parliament declaring that Britain's role had been purely "advisory" and the advice provided by the country's Special Air Service (SAS) had "limited impact in practice". But Miller, the author of 'Sacrificing Sikhs: The need for an investigation' report released last year, says only "full transparency" would reveal the exact nature of Britain's involvement. "After nearly four years of asking for disclosure of these files, it is a great victory for a judge to rule that more transparency would not harm diplomatic ties or risk national security," said Miller, who is disappointed that one file has been left out due to a "loophole" relating to the country's intelligence agencies. "It is no wonder that many in the Sikh community are calling for a public inquiry, as only that would have the power to disclose all relevant material," he added. The files that must now be released in full include papers on UK-India relations from 1983 to 1985 - covering a meeting between Thatcher and Indira Gandhi's advisor, LK Jha, the situation in Punjab, Sikh activities and the assassination of Mrs Gandhi in October 1984. Judge Shanks dismissed the UK government's claim that declassifying these papers would harm relations with India and said "it is worth noting that we have heard no evidence of any adverse reaction from the Indian government resulting from the events of January and February 2014", referring to the Heywood Review. The UK Cabinet Office has been given time until July 11 to appeal against the First Tier Tribunal's decision. Alternatively, it must make the relevant documents available to Miller for his research by July 12. The Cabinet Office said it would be issue its response in due course. https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/uk-judge-orders-operation-blue-star-related-files-to-be-made-public-1866537
  4. Its punjabi pendu macho mentality little villager thinking mostly by jatts (as they are the majority of the Sikh population but not exclusively though) as I've noticed the other castes tend to be alot more intellectually smart and professionally skilled. The jatt's tend to have a rural farmer mentally ie work hard in the fields/manual laboring basic jobs and drink and party hard too. Hence why you have out of all the punjabi families who have a huge problem with alcoholism it tends to be the jatts or those who have manual jobs that doesn't require to have high IQ or academic/ intellectual ability. The families that are raise their kids in cities tend to be a bit more civilised more academic/ intellectual aware of their circumstances and solutions towards it using their minds rather than their braun. The rest of the cowardly sly Indian population look at Sikhs and punjabi's as tough fighters, mostly uncivilised / rowdy but also prefer them that way so that they are pushed into roles that require the defence of the country where hardly no thinking is require just have ability and willingness to fight. They look at punjabi's as slow in the brain and easy to praise and manipulate to do the bidding for nations best interest. One of the fundamental teachings of Sikhi is to learn, the very word "sikh" means learner... a Sikh should always be seeking knowledge whether about geo-politicals, theology, science, technology or just social cohesion/personal inter-development. A Sikh's very essence should be to constantly learn so that them and there Sikh community can be uplifted out of ignorance and darkness.
  5. Just a slight divergent from the topic but i think the mistake we might make as a community is to label all Jews as belonging to a secret greedy selfish kabal that only looks out for its own group which many conspiracy theories on internet and especially youtube videos allege. I feel that would be wrong as I have come across in my own personal interactions of many economically poor jew's who are not exactly minted living in council estates and poor area's. The corrupt rich and politically powerful jews (like the rothschilds) are a particular type usually belonging to the priestly class. You have to research jewish history to understand there is a theological and political war within judaism too not only in hinduism (castism) or islam (72 sects). Jews as a collective group have been very shrewd and clever over 5,000 years, their main breakthrough to power was to unethically/immorally charge interest to non-jews and had a monopoly on money and that's how they got rich and are involved in global banking/international finance. They learn't from the ancient Egyptian pharaohs how to be at the type of the pyramid of human society you gotta use huge force or control the money supply. And as they weren't militarily stronger than their regional rivals they were enslaved and so had to learn to become economically strongest. Once they had spread out to other lands they began to money lend to the local populations of those lands, they were resented for their interest charges and debt economic enslavement of the struggling to survive natives of those lands. So in turn the populations turned against them and they suffered persecution and banishment especially from christian european nations.... during those years of persecution they were given refuge in muslim majority countries but they always wanted their way back into europe so were heavily involved in the set up of freemasonry which clocked itself as a organisation that was a bit like a gentleman's club of powerful men. However it was a backdoor for the very tiny 1% of jewish elite to control the masses and that's how they behind the scenes run things or get their own way in world affairs since the 19th century.
  6. As for the codename blue star it could be that israeli agents together with the R&AW helped draw up the evil murderous plan Blue star of david? or perhaps it was the blue star sirius also known as the blue star worshiped by the freemsons/illumanti. It's all speculation until we research properly motive, means and funding. The who, went, when, how, why the people behind it all.
  7. Wasn't it alleged that guy jaggi (who is in held illegal by punjab police) was involved in maintaining the upkeep of that website? Maybe its connected, but either way all these important Sikh political and history information websites need to be preserved for future generations to learn about their past and recent history.
  8. Ironic how the author of the 10 commandments profit moses was himself an extremist terrorist and mass murderer of israelites who chose to worship the golden calf rather than his own abrahamic cult's false blood thirsty God. And one of the key 10 commandments is though shalt not kill, what did Moses end up doing? He ordered the slaying of all israelite pagan men, women, kids and babies who had renounced the bloodthirsty abrahamic God. The christians, jews and muslims like to hide the dirty evil past sins and crimes of their heros and prophets but a little research will do wonders to expose their evil sinister cults and false god.
  9. I've already said this back in 2014 if anyone was around on this forum back then. The indian news websites already had reported and shown pictures of 1982 Indian commando's given israeli mossad training in military terrorist camps in israel. Israeli zionist jewish government along with USSR russian govt and British establishment may have been complicit in the mass murder and genocide of Sikhs and other oppressed minorities around the world in 1980s/90s and onwards by supplying weapons, military training and intelligence. These 3 axis of evil power centers have long been killing innocent civilians to further their agenda of global domination. Its the nature of the beast as soon as you want to be a global power and player you need to genocide, oppress and suppress minorities even if they did nothing to warrant their evil actions.

Also I would like to add that in terms of evolution and atheist thinking then hitler, gengis khan, indira gandhi, aurangzeb, abdali, etc didn't do nothing wrong cos evolution dictates survival of the fittest. It has no moral judgement that is the realm of religious/theological thinking, morality came from religion to form better and ordered more humane societies. The only correct outcome for evolution theory and ideology is that the strongest and fittest species survives and if that means total extermination of a race/ethnicity/religious group etc then so be it because it was not fit enough to evolve to form a better defense or counter attack strategy to survive. In Sikhi for Sikhs to have survived in past history where they were mostly pacifists they had to militerise and become militant in order to survive in hostile islamic invaders and hindu hill raja forces. And even today we are witnessing a sort of social evolution in action in our community in a present times where indian/punjabi Sikh females are taught by atheist zealots in media/education/society that you can be with non-sikhs it doesn't matter. Then Sikhs will have to evolve their thinking to combat the threat to their survival of their unique community by either converting more non-sikh females to sikhi and breed with them to produce more sikh kids or produce an ultra Sikh nationalist mindset amoung the Sikh females to detest any kind of relationship with non-sikh males as was the case before the atheist bankster funded feminist / atheist revolution of the 1950s.

    .

Darwin's evolution theory is just a theory so wouldn't add too much weight to it in terms of spiritual/theological/religious matters. From my understanding In terms of Sikhi and other dharmic faiths that believe in karma/salvation/mukthi/nirvana then as the organism gets more complex then it reaches higher consciousness are greater chance of salvation. It is the ability to have self awareness self correction and contemplation towards the creator that sets us apart from other primates/animals and other living beings. So for example when a lion hunts, kills and eats a buffalo or deer or when a cat eats a mouse it is doing what it is naturally programmed to do it doesnt feel no remorse or feels its doing wrong. Whereas human beings when we kill a living being the more complex that being is the more sense of wrong/sin we naturally feel. Each day we kill millions of bacteria just by breathing, by walking and doing things just to live. We also kill plants to sustain ourselves and we kill insects without a second thought if they annoy us, when we kills animals we start to feel a little guilt or remorse depending on how fond we are of that animal and the more rare and complex it is the less likely we want to harm it. It all fits in with the natural order. And Human beings are designed be higher thinkers to think morally before they act, so when we have mass murders like kps gill, aurangzeb, hitler, indira gandhi, abdali, etc. They prove they are lowest of the low and in the natural karmic order they will be in nark (the ghoulish underworld) or reborn in a scenario on earth or other planets to suffer tortuous lives again and again.
  12. genie

    .

He is In nark, God willing, suffering untold misery. or probably a reborn on earth as dung beetle/worm or a pig slaughtered and reborn again and again to be slaughtered again and again to pay off the karmic debts.
  13. Cos they have selective memories and they only care about their own religious group (hindu majority). I'm still surprised Sikhs didn't attack hindu mandirs in 1984 and do revenge missions for the Sikh genocide in new delhi, operation blue star and anti-sikh operations in punjab. It was all one way traffic with RSS right wing hindu nationalists and congress atheist secularist Indians in government and army having a free reign to kills sikhs like in the days of the moghuls. Military and politically aided by USSR, UK and Israeli governments. As people had warned in 1940s pre-indian independence if the Sikhs did not get their own nation state then these things will happen against non-hindu minorities. Sikh leaders at the time laughed and thought impossible their "hindu brothers" turning against them. Muslims would turn against them yes because islam is a extremist and separatist religious ideology preaching hate and violence against the non-believer but hindus on the whole they thought were like family. How wrong they was and 1984 proved it.
  14. I remember being on these forums back in days and it was buzzing with lots of members because: 1) Hardly no social media (whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc). Nowadays there's so much distractions of different smart phone apps that peoples attention is directed else where back in the days this was one of the few places you could chat with other Sikhs around the globe. 2) Apathy has taken place over last decade or so,....Punjabi people were more interested in connecting and learning about there Sikh faith as there was less distractions 3) The forum had module addons like chat, arcade games, quizzes. Interactive stuff to make the youth keep coming back to the site. 4) Google search algorithms has created a disaster for alot of websites they rank websites by SEO and in particular number of good backlinks and reputation. Whereas back in the days yahoo and google were equally competative so alot of people used yahoo and google to search for things and sikhsangat topics used to come up in their searches so they would be redirected to the forum whereas these days if you were interested in a particular topic you probably wont find sikhsangat topics indexed in relevant searches.
  15. To be honest a asian/brown guy is better off with a white or black woman these days than our so called "own" if she does not adhere to traditional eastern / punjabi cultural norms and values. The value of Sikhi and adoption of it into their lifestyles is fair higher by white converts to Sikhi (both men and women ) than actual atheist inclined punjabi/asian/brown women. I have seen relationships between asian/brown guys last longer with white women than with their own kind. Because in white women they do not have that rebellious obnoxious nature once they have done what they wanted to do in their teens they tend to mellow out. Whereas with asian/brown women if they been raised in traditional restrictive households in the west they want to rebel and be more westernised than western white women and thats where the problem increases for them. I think also in certain punjabi householes there is a toxic climate of either extreme conservatism where nothing goes or extreme liberalise where anything goes. And the women in these households either free so free to do what they wish without any restriction or they are held back so much they rebel in outrageous ways. The best asian/brown/punjabi women are raised in householes with moderation with respect, supportive with love and good family and religious values. And in turn these women will raise kids likewise to be like that. household family environment is a very important i feel how kids turn out. As they say fruit that is bared reflects the tree it comes from and likewise you can tell a girl/guy is from a good family from how their values, reputation, attitude and manors are.
  16. White guys if you ask them in all honesty and when they talk in forums and amoung their own white peers still view asian/brown women are very submissive (and easy for white western men) who they can dominate and get them to do as they want and say. Little do they realise the harsh reality of that stereotype Possibly but more likely case is that she developed mental health problems due to the relationship she had with the white guy. Possibly because of her own warped exceptions of a better life with a white guy and his possible with a fetish for docile easy submissive asian woman. Often

The victim was ambushed seconds after leaving his home in Bromley, south east London, at about 11.20pm on December 22, 2016. The violent gang chased him down and savagely beat him, forcing him to the ground 'like a pack of dogs' before bundling him into a black Audi with flashing blue lights. +6 +6 Conrad Jackson (left) drove the kidnap vehicle - a fake police car fitted with blue flashing lights - and Reece Jackson (right) helped him bundle the victim into the car in Bromley, south east London They threatened to kill the victim and fired an imitation gun inside the vehicle, which contained stab vests, handcuffs and cable ties, Inner London Crown Court heard. The thugs held the terrified man for seven hours and made menacing calls to his elderly mother and relatives demanding more than £100,000 for his release. At one point neighbours saw him desperately scrambling out of the car on his hands and knees before Conrad and Reece Jackson punched him and threw him back in. The victim was not released until just before 7am when it became clear the gang's demands for money would not be met. The four men denied but were convicted by a jury following a trial of joint charges of conspiracy to kidnap, conspiracy to imprison falsely and conspiracy to blackmail. Jurors also convicted Conrad and Reece Jackson jointly of possession of an imitation firearm, and Rollins of possession of a class A drug. Sentencing them on May 8, Judge Mark Bishop said: 'It was a ruthless act of violence, snatching someone off the street and subduing him with violence. 'One witness described it as a frenzied attack, like someone being set on by a pack of dogs. At one point she thought the victim was dead. 'The demands made were chilling and threatening, demanding at one stage £100,000. 'There can be no doubt that this experience would have been frightening and shocking for the family.' +6 +6 Amir Sahir (left) had been spying on the victim before the attack and Zephan Rollins (right) took part in the blackmail Conrad Jackson, 25, a Business Management student at London Metropolitan University, was said to be the 'intellectual' ringleader of the gang and drove the car. He was joined by Reece Jackson, also 25 - described as the 'muscle' behind the operation. CCTV played for jurors showed 'inside man' and father-of-three Amir Sahir, 29, spying on the victim from a second car before the attack. He lived on the same street as the victim and let Conrad and Reece know when they should pounce. Fourth conspirator Zephan Rollins, 30, was said to be 'centrally involved' in the blackmail. He had recently been released on licence from a ten-year jail term for possession of a firearm. +6 A set of handcuffs recovered from the black Audi being driven by Conrad Jackson during the kidnap. It also contained stab vests and cable ties Prosecutor Michael Bisgrove previously told the court: 'The victim was on the road outside his home address. A black Audi vehicle pulled up with blue lights flashing. 'One of the two men in the vehicle got out and ran towards the victim. 'The victim ran away. He was pursued by the man on foot and by the Audi vehicle which was reversed at speed. 'A short distance away the victim was caught up with. He was assaulted. 'Neighbours saw and heard him being punched and kicked to the floor, picked up and put into the back of the Audi, which drove away at speed. 'Over the next seven hours or so, a number of telephone calls were made.' +6 An imitation firearm recovered from the kidnap vehicle. It was shot while the victim was inside He said the calls to the victim's family were 'particularly to his brother and his elderly mother' - demanding ransoms which 'at times were in excess of £100,000'. 'They threatened to shoot the victim and indeed an imitation firearm was present,' said Mr Brisgrove, adding that it was discharged in the car. 'The victim was eventually released shortly before seven the following morning when it became clear the demands were not going to be met.' Conrad Jackson, of Bromley, south east London, was jailed for 15 years for his role in the kidnap, as well as drugs offences and possession of criminal property. Reece Jackson, of Finsbury Park, north London, was jailed for 12-and-a-half years for the kidnap, possession of cannabis and taking a conveyance without authority. Sahir, of Bromley, south east London, was jailed for ten years. He was also banned from driving for six years because he drove while disqualified when he was spying on the victim from a car in the street they both lived on. Rollins, of Bromley, south east London, was jailed for 11 years. Detective Inspector Gary Myers, who leads the Met’s Modern Slavery and Kidnap Unit, blasted the defendants as 'despicable'.
  18. Yes true. also the traditional asian marriage model is the best one that works because its disciplined and its been tried and tested for thousands of years. Whereas the so called inter-religious inter-racial loved based relationships leading to marriage is relatively recent contept which has not stood the test of time because peoples values and lifestyles and ethnic roots and cultural needs all play a part. Even in asian/brown/indian marriages if both couples do not have the same set of shared values and outlooks in life they will head to disaster too because too many are brought up by a society and by parents with unrealistic expectations of what marriage entails and how its a life long commitment its not a joke. And when it ends in divorce It has devastating consequences for peoples finances and mental health when they fail to make it work so people really shouldn't be taking it lightly when choosing a partner and often marrying from your own background has a higher rate of success and longevity.
  19. How sad and what a waste of life. http://metro.co.uk/2018/05/11/businesswoman-40-found-dead-bath-setting-fire-7537454/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5717397/Lonely-mother-two-40-died-set-fire-bathtub.html Often so called modern westernised punjabi women boast how they chose their own partners and go against the grain of traditions by dating and having sex non-punjabi men and some even marrying out of their own ethnicity and background. They think the grass is greener on the other side. But no its not often its much much worse as from all the marriages between white men and asian women I have learnt about most like vast majority have ended in violent incidents and eventual divorce. I knew a case where an Indian woman was repeatedly beaten up by her drunk irish white partner she eventually left him but was too scared to ever date anyone again. There was case where white men murdered their asian woman partners in jealous or violent rages. And then theres cases where brown/asian women have taken their own life or attempted suicide because they are left on the shelf after spending most their life trying to prove everyone wrong that they can make it with with a white guy and in the process cutting all bridges from their family and any potential asian/brown long term partners. In my observation white men expect submissive asian/brown women thats what draws them not just the looks but when they realise asian/punjabi women are not the stereotype and often not much better than their white women in terms of attitude and materialist desires and domineering scheming intentions then they soon realise they better of with a white woman instead and start to cheat around if they weren't doing so before.
  20. Yeah i used to be a huge fan of nagar kirtans but I feel they have become rather dull and same old same old lately. There needs to be a more emphasis on agenda for the future, spreading the faith of guru's message and seeking conversions rather than singing hymns no non-sikh or younger generation can relate too or celebrating the past glories that are long gone. However the nagar kirtans are important events for rallying Sikhs together and showing the strength in numbers kinda thing. At at time where attendances at gurdwaray are very low especially amoung the youth the nagar kirtans help bring Sikhs together and reconnect the youth with their faith by literally being in their faces. Also lets the non-sikhs know that there is a group called Sikhs around who have a different faith and are not muslims (who they get confused by some ignorant whites). I think from what i heard why there wasnt nagar kirtan in some parts of UK recently is more to do with police cut backs by the conservative tory government which means less resources to marshal the procession and meaning more rising costs for the gurdwara commitee's to foot the bill which become affordable. Its a shame that it comes down to finances and costs because it should be a religious right to freely express and celebrate the faith every year without having to pay extortionist amounts of money to the authorities.
  21. I heard some places around the uk which were doing nagar kirtan for more than decade have stopped doing them for vaisakhi. The east london one used to have a huge procession with 15,000-20,000 attendances that starting from rosebury gurdwara in manor park but has stopped for past 2 years now. Any one know what the reasons are?
  22. I agree with alot of that, they do see us as a threat but also because we got idiots and professional trolls like "raj" who goes to London's hyde park speakers corner not to debate religion but to deliberately trying to provoke and incite muslim's to hate on Sikhs with nonsensical meaningless arguments achieving nothing. That "raj" guy is a walking liability possibly because of low IQ or because he is working for Intelligence agencies as a agency provocateur. Giving the muslim extremists there and the dawah kids try to come up with strategies to undermine Sikhi and Sikhs by using weird propaganda tactics on youtube.
  23. So if you was to meet say a muslim and you wanted to convince him her to leave the abrahamic cult of islam and opt for Sikhi how would you go about it? To me muslims are often per-occupied by the afterlife they are often taught to foresake this world and its people and look for rewards in jannah (islamic paradise). They also often cite creation mythological story of allah creating the world in 6 days like the jewish/christian bible and how the devil is real. As the alleged story goes he was a fallen angel (shaytan) who was once the most beloved of allah's creation until one day allah decided out of no where to create adam on earth and told Lucifer to bow down to him. And rightly so in a just world in a fair system you would not bow down to someone inferiour to you or who hasnt risen amoung the ranks and thus the fallen angel did not do so either. Imagine you worked and served your master for eons and today this unknown simpleton adam is created out of no where and you are told to be subservient to him. Mad decisions mad choices unfair system The whole abrahamic mythological creationist story can be easily dismantled and destroyed. The afterlife also can be explained away because in jannah there will be rivers of alcholic wine and 72 houris to have sex with. All kinds of fake and false pleasures...the believer is allegedly going to get as rewards... you will almost come across various murderers and rapists who killed many innocent non-muslims and now allegedly living it up with allah and his messanger enjoying the fruits of their terrible labor.
