  1. On devotion and the Lord´s will Raag Ramkali Bani Sree Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj In the following lines of Sachay Patshah Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj, Truth of spirituality is revealed to us, in very simple words. Man Than Saas Giraas Prabh Eiko Eik Dhhiaae In your mind and body, with each breath and morsel of food, meditate on the One and only Lord God. He says, to meditate on Him, one needs not to go anywhere. Anywhere you may be, within your mind, which is within your body, do His Simran. So with these words we can clearly see, He is not telling us to recite any religious sacred wordings, but just as simple as to recite His Name. This His remeberance, can be carried out, when one is eating, which is as good for drinking also. Then He says, not only then, but even with each breath you take. Now, the thing is, we take breaths while going to the supermarkets, to school, to work, while going to sleep, while at our shops, offices, in the plane, in the bus or car, whether inside or outside, whether in the day, or in the night, the list is endless..... But the thing is to understand what Guru Jee is telling us. In one word, He is saying, as long as you can breathe, and you are alive, wherever you maybe, never ever stop meditating in your mind. This also implies, one has not to wait for any so called auspicious time, to repeat His Name, but as soon as one reminds that one´s mind is free even for a second, that one should be spent in gathering the wealth of His Name. Because that place, that moment, that minute, that time spent in His rememberance, becomes sanctified, becomes blessed..... Such is the magic of His wonderful Name . Then He beautifully says says: ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਚਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਖਸਮ ਰਜਾਇ Naam Dhhiaaee Naam Oucharaa Naanak Khasam Rajaae नामु धिआई नामु उचरा नानक खसम रजाइ Meditating on the Naam, and chanting the Naam, Nanak abides in the Will of his Lord and Master Here He is telling us, that to please Wahiguru Akal Purukh, one need not do many different things, as He does not gets pleased by any of those our maanmat things. Because He is one, and so, to abide in His will and make Him happy, lies our happiness as sikhs. Because that is what one wants. To please our Lord Wahiguru. And pleasing Him, means remaining in His will. And His will for us, in the words of Guru Jee: is to meditate and chant His Naam. Just as simple as that. Being a sikh in the true sense is walking on this this path marked by Guru Jee for us, not on our maanmat. And to repeat His name, we need not the aid of anybody nor anybody´s authorization. He is nobody´s property.... He belongs to all in the same measure. It is with Him, with whom we want to establish our relationship, what has any third party to do ? The lover(sikh) and the beloved(Wahiguru) are eager to meet, and Wahiguru is not any earthly being, with whom, someone else must come and introduce us to Him, and allow the relationship of love to take place..... No, nothing of that sort, no one sholud keep us away from Him for that time being, by becoming a barrier between us and Wahiguru. The guiding hand is in the Bani, through the Bani. The world is blind, and so are the manmukhs. The tat of Gurmat in short, is to merge in Wahiguru by loving Him, as soon as possible, and once again, this is only possible by His Simran, not by any other means, no matter how hard and how often we may try, (but it is all useless in His eyes), as it does go in accordance with His will, His bhaana, as seen above. Sat Sree Akal.
  2. Brother Lucky, we should also remember, that even for the merging two souls in Him, the only needful ceremony to be carried out, is His Simran, His love, His bakshish.... no worldly marriage will enable us to merge in Him, not even that one between sikhs. Worldy marriage takes place, because there is some karmic settlement, adjustment between them to be cleared out, either by paying or getting .... But the marriage of the bride soul with Purukh Wahiguru, is the birthright of all souls, there is no such karmic adjustment, it is just a natural bond of love and grace.... In reality, this game of love, is started by Wahiguru Himself, by pulling the soul towards Himself..... thus the soul is helpless, it can not resist the pull of the Beloved Sat Sree Akal.
  3. Hello young boy, it is a sign of inmense grace on you from Wahiguru, that on such a tender age, you think about spirituality. But keep in mind, that sikhee is a discipline to straighten the mind and dye it in the colour of Wahiguru. Because it is our soul which has to get merged in the Lord Wahiguru. The purpose of sikhee is to make grow love for Wahiguru within us by remebering His Name at all times, and to respect all living beings, of being noble, of being humble, to help the needy. This is the way to surely attract more grace from Wahiguru so that we become purer and merge in Him one day, by His grace only. For the mean time, always obey and love your parents, not out of fear, but with love, as after Wahiguru, they are your best well wishers always. Also read the Bani either from internet or if some friend can lend you some literature, and try to imbibe the moral values of Sikhee, as in the end, whether young or old, east or west, this is the only wealth, we shall take with us when we leave this world , Everything else shall be left behind, which is not more useful than a handful of dust... He and His Name, is the only lasting reality, and our union with Him, is possible only by loving Him, that is doing His devotion with utter love.... May God bless you, dear child. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. To answer the OP, once again, rationality, guidance and assuarance are the answers from the pure Paviter bani of our GuruSahibans . And in that sense, some few words of Fourth Patshahee, Dhan Dhan Guru Ram Das Maharaj from Raag Sarang, are being reproduced to satisfy our intelects: ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਜੀਵਣਾ ਵਿਸਰੇ ਸਰੈ ਨ ਬਿੰਦ Naanak Jis Bin Gharree N Jeevanaa Visarae Sarai N Bindh नानक जिसु बिनु घड़ी न जीवणा विसरे सरै न बिंद O Nanak, without Him, we could not live for a moment. Forgetting Him, we could not succeed for an instant. This Sio Kio Man Rooseeai Jisehi Hamaaree Chindh O mortal, how can you be angry with the One who cares for you? Here He tells us, that though we may not have that level of consciousness to understand His hukum, He is our cherisher and the cause of our existence, so if we ever get angry with Him due to our poor vision and narrow mindedness, it means we are turning our direction from Him, and this means more pain and more agaynta. So better, even we may not understand right now His divne plan, let us not turn away our faces from Him, but rather be determined to find Him and ask him our doubts...... But the fact is, if ever we try to reach Him.... I doubt that we will ever ask Him any such thing which was bothering us before. We may ask, why shall we not feel the need to ask Him, by meeting Him? The answer is, doubts are the nature of the mind, not of the soul. Then, once we shall face Him by having His darshan, without our being noticed, we shall have been transformed, and merged in Him. So then, who or where is the questioner.... naturally nowhere, because as the Bani says: Jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya The meditator, by His grace, His kirpa, gets his individual soul merged in the One Universal Infinite Soul, namely Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Waheguru, Ouch Apaar Beant Soami.
  5. Congrats Bro, so happy to see you trying walking. It is just like, when parents see their child learning to walk... they are exteremely happy about it. In the same way, with your reports, you too are learning to walk once again. In the process, you may fall sometimes so do not get disheartened easily, until your (legs)mind, gets stronger and then you will not only walk, but run also. In your above post, though you may not be consciouss about it, but you have proved us, deep within you, there is a good and a noble person, and this is what matters to us, to get your best as a person, adversities may come and go, but we have to be bold and face our destinies with the help of Wahiguru, as per means of bhajan bandagee. Though it may sound selfish, but what to do? We humans are usually so "matlabee"... but anyhow, He says, give me, even your kachhee bhakti, I will make it a pakee bhakti... So much grace at all times, what else do we need? Waheguru.
  6. Dear Veer Jee Big_Tera, sorry to tell you, but don´t you think you are a bit confused? Because you may want to convey soemthing, but use wordings which may sound amibiguos. You say it is not a personal issue, and maybe it is true, but , you have directly mentioned about yourself, as seen in the above three underlined sentences written by you. In the remaing sentences you have used the word "we"... So naturally as a reader, if I perceive you are taiking about some issues on your person, because of the word " I ", of course my answers will be directed to you, and if I perceive, it is a general topic, belive me, I will never direct the answers to you personally. Any how let us proceed further, as you have mentioned the key word of this thread "happiness".... Can we know, what does the word happiness, or better said, "real permanent happiness" means to you? Any studies of any sciences are done by the mind, be it may psycology even... But the thing is, again the answer for happiness, is tried to be found within the spheres of mind. Mind as its best, is a subtle matter still. And all matter thoug subtle is sure to perish one day, and True happiness can never be found in perishable things, objects .... There is a saying: mind is to the body, just as software is to the hardware... And as such, we all know, software can be uninstalled and deleted, so is with the mind also ...... And accroding to the Bani (Gurmat), which is a spiritual science, which deals with issues like true permanent happiness, as per its objective. This spiritual science starts also from a mental level so to say, but exceeds it, by crossing its boundaries, and thus reaching to the source of True happiness, which is none other than Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.
  7. Veer Jee, I was not reffereing to myself, but to our penjee Usernametaken, to whom you sholud be thankful, the one who has worked the miracle of kindness, and placed a ray of hope and cheerfulness in you.
  8. The thing is, as per Bani, these demons, in one way or other, they attack alone or jointly time after time, mostly unexpectedly. There is no such weapon, nothing in this whole world to defeat them.... If there is anything at all, that is Naam or Shabad. Why? Because Shabad or Naam, is a power beyond the realms where maya spreads her tentacles through them on our souls and minds, thus keeping the souls entangled in the web of karmas, and not allowing them to get out of the wheel of eighty four. Moreover, the power of Shabad, is the power of the Creator Wahiguru, and is thus the only Power to defeat these theives, as well as thieir parents: Maya and Kal . So if any time I get attacked by any of these dacoits, I just remind myself that, hey guy, you are still green, you ought to do more bhakti, with more zeal and more efforts.... and at the same time, do Ardas to Wahiguru, to bless me with His Grace and make me strong enough, to defeat these vikars or evil tendencies....so that I may be able to please Him and merge in Him. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. Dear Big_ Tera, everything in life is karmas. Whatever you say is true, but, it is also true, that all our interactions in the world are false, in the sense that everybody is either creating karma or paying karma ..... Though I can understand, it is quite hard to go through all this, but remember that, one has not much to do with the world and its people. Take your present condition as a gift from the Lord. Maybe, He does not want you to get entangled in the world, but rather you devote yourself to Him...... and this can best be carried out, when one has not such a strong pull towards the world or from the world. Do not compare yourself with others. If you think you are right and good, why to worry about the impressions which the world has about you. The wicked world did not even spare higher beings, like our Guru Sahibans, like Kabir Sahib, like Christ who was nailed and crucified...... so then what or who are we, in the eyes of the world? Love and respect yourself, and be aware, He is there to be with you. Engage some time daily in bhajan bandagee, then all your so called shortcomings, will be changed by His kirpa into a blissful state, He is Truth, His name is the foundation of firm faith, inner peace, a balanced mind, and above all Love for His Lotus feet. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. Frankly speaking SinghGS bro, we have a wonderful penjee(Usernametaken) on this website.... And I think most of the members will agree with me. She is so lively, so full of mastee, full of innocence at the same, tender, a good sense of humor, humble, and always ready to give a helping hand at the best of her ability. You yourself can see her these qualities mentioned above, her kind angelical touch, has pushed you to become a better person, so now it is your turn to not let her down, and make her proud for being so humanitarian. May God bless her always!
  11. Hi _someone_, from your post above, there are no such elements of information to know exactly about what you are asking for. But as general rule to make it simple, we can say, if the messages you get in your head help you to make you understand the deeper meaning of the Bani, that is a good sign.... But even going a bit farther, I would better say spiritual enlightment comes only by meditating on Naam. If that is your case, considere yourself a wadbhagee. On the other side, if the messages you get are negative or destructive, then just be alert . Usually when one is in a relaxed state, it is then that the thoughts go from the subconciouss mind to the surface of the consciouss mind. Repeat the holy Name of Wahiguru with regularity everyday, that is the the only useful remedy I can suggest you. Sat Sree Akal.
  12. First of all, the way you talk and reason, denotes that religion for you is a wild fantasy. Nevertheless, answers are going to be given to you. If you understand and accept, very good, and if not, there is not much which can be done to convince you, as each and every person is on a different level of consciousness, though outwardly we all look more or less alike. Maybe you are an intellectual person, and you have arrived to your present conclusions, because you have not been given convincing answers with logic. This is not strange nor rare, most of the world and youngsters do not accept the religion practiced by their family members. Religion comes from the latin word "religare", and it means, union with the Lord. That is it. Religion does not mean a whole set of rules, regulations, rituals, dogmas.... no, nothing of that sort. As said above, religion means to get merged and to become one with Wahiguru. All else around this meaning and objective, is paraphernalia created by us humans. Sachay Patshah Dhan Dhan Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj in His Bani Raag Aasaa says: Bhee parapat manukh dehhureeaa, Gobind milan kee ehe teree bareeya. This means, you have been given this human body, just to realize your true self, and at the same time do your best to become one with our True father Wahiguru Akal Purukh, through love and devotion. Only humans have been given this privilege, not even devis, devtas, angles, gods can realize Him, if they are not in human form first. The teachings tell us, there are chaurasee lakhs species of lives, and on the top of them, it is the human form. Just imagine, if each joonee last for example an average life of 1 year minnimum, that automatically results that, you may or may not get human birth even after spending 8.400.000 (eight million and four hundred thousand) years in the unending cycle of births and deaths. Is that a joke for you, beta? If being a human being, one does not think of Him in the right perspective, how come in any other joonee will one be able to ever think about Him, about doing the real bhakti and merge in Him? So just think a little bit, if once reached on the top, you deliberatley step down, what will happen? You will fall down in the creation, and you do not know, in which joonee you will be born again ...... It is also said, it is becuase of the accumulated good karmas in various births, that one gets this priceless human form by His grace, not otherwise. And going back to the word religion, and about how to achieve it, the Bani very beautifully and in simple words gives us the answer without any roundabouts...direct to the point. It says: Jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya. He who repeats His Name, becomes one as Him, by merging in Him. Is it not this wonderful, beyond any imagination? Words just fail to describe the beauty and depth in them. While reading the Bani, one just gets transported to higher levels of consciousness, by being amazed, as how our Guru Sahibans, out of their infinte mercy and grace for us, have left the higher Truths in simple and clear words, just for our spiritual uplift. Whosoever you are dear _guest_ , may God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  13. What is true Yoga Bani Sree Guru Amar Das Maharaj jog n bhagavee kaparree jog n mailae vaes Yoga is not obtained by wearing saffron robes; Yoga is not obtained by wearing dirty robes. naanak ghar bait(h)iaa jog paaeeai sathigur kai oupadhaes O Nanak, Yoga is obtained even while sitting in your own home, by following the Teachings of the True Guru In the couplet above of Dhan Guru Amar Das Maharaj, He clearly tells us, the real meaning of Yoga is union with the Primal Supreme Being, namely Wahiguru Akal Purukh. He says: yoga or the union with the lord, is not obtained by dressing in a particular way, or going almost naked and wandering in the forests, but it can be obtained even leading the life of a "girashtee" or a householder, and at the same time following Gurmat, the teachings of Guru Sahibans. Real detachment from moh, maya, relations and worldly possesions, can only be obtained by attaching our minds to something which is far more beautiful, enchanting, sweet and everlasting, that once tasting this Amrit, the mind stops running after any vikars, pleasures... or in one word, a paapee lustful life. And this attachment to something far more sweeter than the sweetest, is nothing else but Naam itself. That is why the Bani says: Nanak, Naam maha rus meetha. Sarab rog ka aukhad Naam The Bani in the end, is nothing than mahima of Naam, the only everlasting Truth. Waheguru
  14. Dear brother, what you are going through is called lower self esteem. You are asking for help, but remember, to get help from someone, first of all you have to help yourself, otherwise it is not possible. From your writings, it is evident you are making attempts to get up from the mud and start walking. The thing is you feel you are not able by yourself for anything positive, when the truth is, that not only you have the power to overcome all your mistakes, slowly and gradually, but you must be aware that the owner of the whole " kaeenaat " or creation is within you, and so if you ask Him for help, He will surely give. Not in the sense that your destiny will be changed from black to white by the wavering of a magic stick, but in the sense that He wil come and abide in your mind and guide you, and give you the support within, so that even if a calamity comes, you will not feel perturbed at all, but remain peaceful and calm ,without losing your balance. It is good what you say about your life, it is an eye opener for others, because you are a living example about it. You are not alone, I have witnessed amny cases like you in front of my eyes. You say, you took amrit at the age of 20. The amrit you mention, is not a magic drink that changes one from a crow into a swan. This amrit does not wipe the vikars and wash our sins. This amrit is just a symbol, for us as sikhs, that we are commited to Wahiguru in doing His bhajan bandagee, and to lead a moral and clean life in whatever conditions we maybe. That is the purpose of sikhee, to reunite our souls with the true Guru, which is Shabad Guru. Once we start walking on the path of Gurmat within, by His Grace, that devotion will allow us to drink made by He Himself, and yes, this Amrit once tasted, will surely burn the storehouse of our karmas, mind will be defeated, vikars wil be overcome, we will become that pure paviter, that we will be able to merge in Him then. The inner Amrit made by Wahiguru Himself, is made out of Shabad, rather we can say also, it is Shabad itself, and is full of pure consciousness, in which our soul bathes within and thus gets purified from all the impurities covering it. : Salok Mahala 2 || Jin vadiaaee tere Naam kee te ratte mann maahi. Nanak Amrit ek hai, doojaa Amrit naahi. O Nanak! There is only One Amrit (i.e, the Naam-Amrit); there is no other Amrit at all (i.e., they do not consider anything else as Amrit) Nanak Amrit manai maahi paaeeai gur parsaadi. O Nanak! (This Naam) Amrit is within the mind (of everybody, but it is), obtained by "Gur Parsaadi" (Grace of the Gur-Giaan...) tinhee peetaa rang siou jinh kaou likhiaa aadi|| 1|| (sggs 1238) They alone drink it in with love, who are so destined by the Primal Lord. ||1|| (sggs 1238). "Amrit" is a Sanskrit word that literally means "without death" or "no death", and is often referred to in texts as Nectar, Ambrosial Nectar, Mahaa Rasa, Elixir of Life, Water of Life, Aab-i-Hayat, Mansarover or the Pool of Nectar, etc., conferring Eternal Immortality, Cosmic Awareness or Universal Consciousness. It is time and again stressed in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib that there is only One Amrit, that the mind (or Aatmaa) can drink. And that One Amrit is the Naam Amrit is the Inner Sound Principle (Naad, Anhad Naad) and the Inner Light Principle (Joti) that ends the restlessness or delusion (doubt, Bharam...) of the mind and dispels its duality (Doojaa-Bhaav, love or hunger of Maya...) and darkness of its ignorance. It is the Food of Life on which the spirit-soul feeds. The experience of It bestows Bliss (Anand, everlasting Joy, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ, etc.) and sets one free from the false ego-sense (Haumai) and its menacing faults - lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride and their countless variations. The Gurbani tells us that the rain of Amrit (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ) is Experienced within the mind when one is established in the mystic Tenth Gate - "ਦਸਵਾ ਦੁਆਰੁ". Why there is "only One" Amrit? Because there is only One Lord. Oneness is the fundamental principle of Sikhi. It has to be like this as there is One Parameshar (ੴ ) - no second (or "Doojaa"). The Gurbani says that the Naam-Amrit alone is sweet, and that this is "the only immaculate Truth in the world". : The One and only One Lord abides within the mind and there is no other second. The Name-Amrit alone is sweet and that is the only immaculate Truth in the world. O Nanak! The Name of God is obtained, by those who are so predestined. ||5||4|| (sggs 1259). So just remeber the promise you made to Wahiguru, that blessed day you took amrit at the age of 20 as per rehit, but for some reasons you could not keep up your word to Wahiguru as per devoting yourself to Him. The outer amrit is just to motivate us and keep us on the right tracks with bhakti, so that one day by His Grace, we may be able to drink the real and true Amrit within. Even now is not late, as long as you can breathe, gather as much wealth of Nam Simran as much as possible, because that is the only true wealth that we shall carry with us. Destiny can blow us, as per our karmas, but with the help and practice of Naam, we get so strong that these blows will not knock us down, but rather one such day will come, that we will knock out all our obstacles, like mind, vaasnas, vikaars, karmas, and kal himself....and by His Grace will merge in Him, thus fulfill the purpose of our lives by treading on the path of Gurmat So brother, cheer up, life is too valuable to miss it just like that, by wailing and feeling pity. Be truthful to yoursef, by standing on the priciples of sikhee, then see how you yourself starts changing your ill fortune into a good one, because now you have taken refuge at the Lotus feet of Wahiguru Akal Purukh. And taking refuge does not mean big big words, but by practicing regularly the devotion of His Naam Simran, as simple as that. Sat Sree Akal.
  15. I think, I have already given the answer to your question above. But I do not mind writing it again. As said, all the mayavee creation is up to the ceiling where sato gun permeates in each atom, each molecuile of that plane, which is known also as the causal plane. After that comes the region of Parbraham, means one has crossed the region of maya, of sato gun, the region of purest mind. Though there is still a long way to Sach Khand, but from Parbraham onwards, the purity goes on increasing, there is no duality, but only Satnam, Satnam, Satnam only, Wahiguru only. That is why the Bani says: Sach Khand vasay Nirankar. There only Wahiguru exists. Though it is beyond any description, any imagination, any wonder, but suffice is to say : Wah eeee guruuuuuuu There are no such different entities as: Sant Jan, Guru Gahibans, Gurmukhs, Bhagats, Brahamgyanis.... One may ask, why so? The answer is, one by His kirpa, does bhakti for merging in Him and becoming Him, so naturally what else can expected... If one is looking for anything else apart from Him in the spiritual planes, then sorry to say, we have not understood Gurmat at all. The sole purpose of the Bani and Gurmat, is just to reunite us with our origin, Wahiguru Akal Purukh. That is it, nothing more nothing less either. The begining of the mool mantra, beautifully describes the qualities of the only existing resident of Sach Khand: Ikonkar : There is only one Lord without second. Satnam: He is the embodiment of the Supreme Truth, which is unchangeable, which is everlasting. Karta Purakh: He is the doer of everything Nirbhav: He is fearless, Nirvair: He has enimity with none Akal Moorat: He is beyond time, thus He exists since the very begining, or we can say, He is the begining of everything Ajoonee: He is birthless, thus deathless Saimbhav: He exists by Himself, depends on none. He is not caused by anything before Him or beyond Him. Gurprasad: He gets Himself manifested to those who devote themselves to Him, through a channel known as Guru, and it is only by His own Grace and Mercy (Prasaad) that this happens. Such is His mahanta, one just gets into the state of bliss, by just listening to His Beant wadeeayee ..... Waheguru.
  16. Yes it does. All good and bad actions fall under the trai-gunn ( 3 gunns) you mentioned i.e. Rajo, Sato and Tamo. For this reason, anything done under these three gunns keeps us in this world and brings us back to this world through reincarnation. The only way to get out of this cycle is if we do what is beyond these 3 gunns. Only Naam Abhyaas and Gurbani Paath are beyond these three gunns. As for examples of each gunn, here is what I can think of: Tamo – Under this gunn, a person does all the bad things like atrocities, cruelties, murders, rapes etc. Rajo – Under this Gunn, a person has aspirations for worldly gains. A person working to become a CFO of a company or manager of a firm is driven by Rajo Gunn. Such people are not bad people but they have aspirations for worldly gains. They are house-holders who want to attain materialistic things. They don’t commit atrocities, cruelties, murders etc. as a person under Tamo gunn does. It is possible for a person living under Rajo Gunn to transform into one living under Tamo Gunn. Some times to attain their material goals, the Rajo people start doing unethical and immoral acts and gradually this leads them to become Tamo people. Sato – Under this gunn, people do good deeds and don’t have too many materialistic aspirations. They do charity work, feed the poor, help the needy, perform religious rituals like pilgrimages and other such good deeds. Most of the acts of the world religions fall under this gunn. Gurmat Matt or Dharam is the only one that offers its followers something above the Sato Gunn. But the behaviour and objective of a Gursikh, by His kirpa, is far beyond all these entanglements. Because the Gursikh, with the practice or abhyass of Nam Simran, is guided and protected by the Shabad Guru. In this way, we as gursikhs must feel privileged as wadbhagee jeevas and thank Him for His beant bakshish, beant Daya meher, that while the whole world is under the three gunns, we make a border line with aid of Gurmat, so that we do not feel its effects, because we have taken sharan of Wahiguru Akal Purukh as the only reality and everlasting Truth. Nobody is born perfect, but with the aid of Gurmat, no matter if one is worst sinner, then too, one can become a polished diamond or a garland of flowers at His Lotus Feet. His power is infinitely beyond any karmas, any sanskaras, any sato, rajo or tamo gunas. Sikhee is far above any philosophies. While one is already condemmed by being imbued with rajo or tamo gunas, but then, even if one is full with sato gun, this will take one as far only as per the heights of heavenly paradises, Swarg or Baikunth planes . While with Gurmat, we board the plane of Naam, and reach our destiny Sach Khand, which is unaccesible otherwise, no matter what one may do. Such is His Beant wadeeayee, by blessing us with His gyan, through Gurmat. Sat Sree Akal.
  17. Dear Boy4321, the tuk you mention above, is referred to our reasoning and understanding about Wahiguru Akal Purukh, which means: even if we think or try to reason hundreds of thousands times about Him, even then, no one can get even any tiny idea about His beant wadeeayee... This line of Guru Jee does not refer to any wordly affair, for which any experienced or professional person can give us the right counselling. Like for example if one has a headcahe, someone can tell us to take an aspirin, or apply such ointment or pomade..... Nobody will say Sochay soch na hovaee jeh sochay lakh vaar ...... the thing is, we are limited from all angles. Sat Sree Akal .
  18. Dear Gillz, I am humbly going to answer your questions as best as I can:
  19. Pen jee When a guy(whoever he maybe) follows a girl/ woman as you describe, surely he has no good intentions, so be strong and take courage by keeping Wahiguru in mind and heart as your "raakanhaar", ask that animal if he is not ashamed of his lowly behaviour, and keep a mobile recorder with you(as advised in the posts above), and record all his rubbish, in case someone wants to ignore you. Though I do not like violence, but in this case I would thrash him so badly, that he will get out of his mind and body all his kaam vasanas for any woman. I may not be present where you are, but surely there are brothers who think like me, you may ask for their help, for which they will never deny, and will gladly assist you, but before all talk with your parents also. I simply do not understand, why children wait to let the things go far, talk with others but not with their parents.... when they are the best well wishers of the children.... Foolish man!!! A man is not a man by just being a male, who is as good as a beast, but by his kindness and protective sense towards a woman. Waheguru.
  20. Chandi di // also known as // Sri Bhagauti Ji is a composition included in the 5th chapter of Dasam Granth. It is based on an episode from the Sanskrit work Markandeya Purana, and describes the conflict between the Gods and the Demons. In the ballad, the supreme goddess (see Chandi) is transformed into a liberating divine power in the form of sword, that crushes perpetuators of falsehood Bhagauti stands for God and sometimes for sword which is identified with God. Bhagavathi is used as a synonym of the word Bhagauti in other parts of India. According to early Sikh Historian, Bhai Koer Singh Kalal as mentioned in Gurbilas Patshahi 10 (1751), Chandi di Vaar was written by Guru Gobind Singh at Anandpur Sahib. Various other Sikh historians and scholars like Giani Ditt Singh, Professor Sahib Singh, Giani Gian Singh, Ratan Singh Bhangu, Kavi Santokh Singh also supported this fact. The first part of the // is known as the "Ardas", the opening Section of Sikh prayer which invokes the names of the Gurus: Translation: One Supreme reality Victory to the Lord, the Eternal One. May Almighty God assist us, I write the ode of Almighty God. Having first remembered God and then I reflect on Guru Nanak. Then Guru Angad, Guru Amar Das and Guru Ram Das, may they help us. I reflect on Guru Arjan, Guru Hargobind and Guru Har Rai. I remember Guru Har Kishan, by whose sight all the sufferings vanish. Then I do remember Guru Tegh Bahadur, through whose grace the nine treasures come my house. May they be helpful to us everywhere. The author describes the emergence Goddess Chandi as a force that destroys the demons. Translation: Lord! By creating Durga, you have caused destruction of demons. Rama received power from you to kill Ravana with arrows. Krishna received power from you to threw down Kansa by catching his hair. The great sages and gods, even practising great austerities for several ages; do not know your limits. This information written above is what I have found much related to your topic and post. Now from there, if something is to taken into account, is the depth of the meaning in them; and not literally, because different deities and demons are mentioned ( with whom we have nothing to do ) ,and also Him and His shakti, power, or Chandi, it is the same thing. So according to my humble interpretation, Guru Jee, is telling us, that the demons(evil) which each one of us has to face and defeat, are the 5 vikars or demons, along with their boss, who is the mind, and the boss of all these tyrants, which is none other than kaal ..... Here, Guru Jee is telling us, that for defeating and killing these demons, we have to use the weapon of Bhagauti or Bhakti of Wahiguru, who then comes to our aid, and He himself slays all these demons, and thus releases us from the cluthches of these evil entities, only then we are released from this mayavee creation, and then we can return back to our true Home Sach Khand. I am sure there are well versed brothers and sisters among our sangat, who can shed you some more light on this topic, but in my humble opinion, I think I indirectly replied your quest in my previous post, because if paid attention to the Bani of any Mahatma, any Gurmukh, any Sant Jan or even our very beloved Guru Sahibans, they only stress on one Wahiguru, and the devotion at His Lotus Feet by the means of Naam Simran, which unfolds countless blessings on us, for our very own benefit, to the extent, that we become as He Himself, and merge in Him, that is the wadeeayee of His Bhagauti or Chandi. Waheguru.
  21. Veer Jee, If you do not mind, can I suggest you something? have you ever given a chance to Naam Simran? Just think a little bit, if all the Banis, are so soothing and bliss giving, which are just limited expressions of Wahiguru Akal Purukh, what would we not get, if we meditate on Him, so that He comes and resides in us, thus we too shall have all the qualities He has, like: gyan, bliss, fearlesness.... just to name a few virtues of His Beant wadeeayee..... Having Him with us at all times, what else will we need, or be short of ? Reciting His Bani, is like reciting some of His countless virtues, but doing His Simran, is actually having Him with us. And do not think this will be achieved in two days or a week; as doing this bhakti constantly, it is nothing, but an expression of submiiting ourselves to His bhaana, and at the same time, it is telling Him, Wahiguru I love you, I am yours, and You alone are mine. Waghiguru does not want many many words, He wants our love in means of action, of dedication, which is Naam Simran. That is it, as simple as that much. Just give a thought to it, one has nothing to loose. The Bani says: Sarab rog ka aukhad Naam. Waheguru.
  22. Let us start from A B C ..... From your writings, you seem to be an intelctual being. So being intelctual, you must agree that we possess mind, don´t you? Mind or "man" is something, is finer than our gross body. So please, let us forget God for the moment, can you show me a picture of a mind? How does it look like, what is it´s gender, forget youtube, I will be satisfied, if you could provide us a photo, of how it looks like? Now don´t tell us that the mind is the brain. Because it is not so. If you are a starightforward person, you are welcome to satisfy your queries, but if you are playing mischief like someone we all know on this web, then please do not waste our time, neither yours.
  23. For the mean time Veer Jee, you are a lost case ... May God bless you any how and in anyway...
  24. It is true to seek God in bhakti, but the rest of the time we should not make life a hell for others, that is the matter... in front of God, each one is a like cow, but once we come back to daily life .... almost all are like beasts. Man or woman, both have to learn to be better human beings, only then the human race can prosper
