  1. I have been told that a poster has been released with dates of the Divans that will be taking place and there will be three Diwans as far as I am aware. I will find out full details of the poster tonight and relay the information on this thread as soon as I know.
  2. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE ARE SPENDING SO MUCH TIME ON THIS TOPIC! Ok everyone has their own opinion on whether it is or is not right for this couple to kiss in public but this is silly. I've seen so called AmritDhari Sikh do a lot more than that and a lot of stuff that is against rehat but I wouldn't bring it up on the forum so that i could sit here and do nindya of those people all day long cos it's wrong! They have kissed and danced and IF it's wrong then just pray for them that Guru Maharaj blesses them with the knowledge that it is wrong so that they can LEARN from their past actions as that's what all Sikhs do is LEARN!!!! We could sit here all our lives and talk about what we believe to be wrong actions in people's rehat but the truth of the matter is nobody knows everything, if we did we'd be as blessed as our Guru's were but we're not so get off your high horses and stop judging these people because you have no right to do so! If you are that concerned about it then why don't you do something good and be a good Sikh by trying to find out who these people are, contacting them with the utmost respect and sincerity and explaining your views with truely relevant Bani to back you up. They may even thank you for helping them. . . Or tell you to mind your own. . . Bhul Chuk Maaf
  3. Waheguru can see the situations we are put in and understands. . . Personally I don't think that it's a problem to use the microwave as long as when you heat your food you cover it with a plate or something that way no juices or anything can get into it (and actually your supposed to cover food in a microwave anyway). . . If you are that concerned about it then take sandwiches or something from home instead. . . However it's not as if your food is touching any meat in the microwave. . .
  4. Chalo. . . Whatever you say. . . It'll be good to see how you twist some part of Bani to say CHOCOLATE and to say SWIRL and to say COOKIES. . . raspberry may just be easier to find. . . Didn't realise how young you were but you still cracking me up. . . you started/finished exams now? How are exams/revision going?
  5. I'm quite sure that Bani will not have anything in particular written about WHITE CHOCOLATE AND RASPBERRY SWIRL COOKIES. . . I mean what a luxury they would've been in Guru Ji's time. . . You so funny, think I'm in stitches. . .
  6. yukoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. . . me no like banana. . . oh well each to their own. . . However, you only WANT that. . . I actually had my white chocolate and raspberry swirl cookie. . . nah nah
  7. NO  It's ok Kumi don't be sad. . . You can't be right about everything in life. . . Just have to live and learn from your mistakes. . . I'll give you another chance to answer the question. . . Hey Kumi what flavour cookie are you eating??? I've just had cake, ate cookies ages ago. . .
  8. Paaaaaagal!!! Since when did anyone start making/selling milkshake flavour cookies???? That's not even a flavour it's type of drink BUDHU!!!!
  9. I am eating white chocolate and raspberry swirl cookies, what flavour are you eating???
  10. Actually guys the engineer is neither a pessimist nor an optimist he is CONTENT. Outside the box thinking: The engineer previously had aspirations to fill the cup (lifetime achievements) however when the glass was filled to the half way mark, he decided he was CONTENT with this much in life and didn't need anymore so therefore his life is FULL and hence the glass is double the size it needs to be because his aspirations were met half way. . . Now think about that!!!!! No one ever mentioned water!
  11. Come on people, stop doing nindya it's no good. . . Everyone makes mistakes in their lives and a lot of us do things that are wrong in Sikhi, sometimes we do it knowingly and sometimes unknowingly becasue we are still learning. I agree it's not a fully GurSikh wedding but it's not for us to judge them, only Waheguru has that right. Instead of looking down on them you should simply live your life in a good way and set an example like our Guru's did. Bhul Chuk Maaf
  12. I know it's going to be amazing, as far as I am aware he is bringing his whoooole Jatha with him. He was previously booked in at Hyde Park but unfortunately some of the Jatha at that time couldn't get Visa's to come over and he refused to come wothout then but with Guru Maharaj's Kirpa he'll be here soon. If anyone reading this has not hear of him then trust us, it is well worth the travelling where ever you live to come and listen to the beautiful Keertan and Katha. . . Guru Fateh Ji
  13. On June 18th, 19th and 20th he will be at: Chapeltown Road Gurdwara Leeds 7 West Yorkshire I only know this because he will be staying next door to my sisters house in Leeds. Guru Fateh Ji
  14. I'm really sorry but I have to say that I am not happy with what you have said here. Why is it that you feel it necessary to blame us girls, why is it the girls that we have a problem with?????? you must live in a really secluded environmet if all you see is our girls marrying outside because what about the boys. Off the top of my head i could name a guy married to non-Sikh white girl, non-Sikh black girl and a Muslim and I could name loads that are in boyfriend-girlfriend relationships outside of Sikhi. But I could also name a few girls like that too but it's not just the girls. I'm in my last year of uni, just finishing and from what I've seen the boys are losing touch. . . In high school the Sikh boys and girls all looked out for each other and stuck together, why is it that as we've all got older that has changed. I've been part of the uni Sikh Soc for 4 years, do you want to explain why it's got more female participants than male? I mean even if we wanted to find our own boys how are we supposed to do it when they don't make the efforts to interact with us. They'd rather sit in the SU and drink all day playing snooker and eyeing up the girls and the AmritDhari's keep themselves to themselves, very few come out and really talk to you. Soory people, I know I've gone off the topic and I apologise, just rattled my cage a little. Bhul Chuk Maaf Guru Fateh Ji
  15. Sorry, just have to say that actually Hindu's do not believe in multiple Gods, they only believe in One God (however even a lot of Hindu's don't even understnad this!). Hindu's believe in 1 God but most Hindu's (who are not Arysamaji) worship personifications of God's characteristeics. E.g Shiva is the destructive side of God. However there are many issues with their beliefs, I am not sayig it's ok to marry a Hindu just wanted to straighten out the misunderstanding. Bhul Chuk Maaf
