  1. Kopsingh I am from canada I see it in the gta area aka toronto sikh girls afghan boys in high schools and univirsity I'm not saying that cause punjabi culture favors boys over girls that girls run to muslims hoping to be treated equally to boys, what I am saying is this has an impact on their self esteem and they don't tend to have a tight bond with their family Girls want acceptance human need if their not getting it at home it leaves them vulnerable to get it from someone wrong like a muslim Girls with low self esteem will seek attention from males to feel better about themselves so a sikh girl suffering low self esteem gets the attention that makes her feel good about herself what are the chances she will fall for him Now what are the chances of a strong confident sikh women with a strong bond to her community and family being converted Its important that sikh girls know their history cause their great female role models for them rather paris hilton And about canada this culture of raising boys as kings has created a generation of gunit wannabe's Warriors religion great documentry as to why so many punjabi boys grow up wanting to be black gangsters from the united states
  2. t’s become a fascinating trend that I’ve seen over and over, after training and coaching thousands of entrepreneurs, business owners and investors. But this doesn’t just apply to those who have businesses – it actually holds true for the entire population, regardless of occupation or whether they’re self-employed or not. Those who take responsibility for their outcomes do exponentially better. They make a LOT more money, they have less anxiety and frustration, and they create massive momentum. They enjoy their business a lot more, and seem to have less problems in their relationships with customers, employees, contractors and other key people. But here’s the challenge .. .. most people are unwilling to be accountable for their results. One of the core issues in today’s world is that the vast majority of people avoid taking responsibility for their own outcomes. The attitude of entitlement is alive and well, and unfortunately keeps most people wallowing in failure and a lack of results. I’ve noticed the “entitlement mentality” becoming even more obvious around the world. It’s a sickness – a disease that threatens the future of abundance and productivity. Look at the rioting in areas of Europe – at the core, it’s an entitlement mentality that says “I don’t want to pay more taxes – I want to keep getting services, and maintain a low productivity, and I’m not willing to play a role in the solution”. Of course, the government’s had a role to play in where things are, but the ONLY solution is to increase taxes and cut services. And people react as though it’s some kind of right they have to get something for nothing. Frankly, it’s sickening to me, and why I’m so grateful that I am the captain of my own ship, and do not rely on anyone to feed or employ me. Unions are another problematic disease in the business world. Years ago, the union was necessary to protect the worker from being exploited and taken advantage of, yet in today’s world, the role of the union is archaic. The very base of union thinking is entitlement mentality. I should be paid more simply because I’ve been here longer than you. Who cares about productivity, contribution or anything else – I put in more time, and I deserve more money because of it. Unions are creating a terrible drag on the economy, and it’s no surprise that many of the industries dominated by unions are also bankrupt - airlines and car manufacturers being just a couple of them. I know some people will disagree with me, but the edges of our social fabric are being frayed right now by this poisonous thinking. It’s Easier To Be a Victim Than Be Accountable Accountability is the simple act of being responsible for whatever happens to you — good or bad. The challenge is that most people would rather choose NOT to accountable, and instead place blame, justify and rationalize why they’re not getting what they want in life. Quite frankly, it’s easier to wander through life and not take responsibility for what happens to you. It’s the economy. It’s my spouse. It’s the weather. It’s the politicians. This is the position most people take, including many entrepreneurs. In today’s world, it’s pretty easy to blame the “bad economy” for a lot of the problems business owners are facing. And yes, the economy is certainly a variable that has an affect. But the moment you start allowing “the economy” to be the reason for your business not growing or struggling, you’re on the path to failure. And the reason is that once you accept that the cause is external to you, control of your destiny is now out of your hands. And that’s another way of saying victim. Because you’re accountable, or a victim. You can’t be both. I’ve never met a successful entrepreneur who’s a victim. They claim responsibility for what happens to them at every level. In today’s economy, I have the fortune of coaching several entrepreneurs and business owners who are growing like crazy. Thriving, in a “bad economy”. Our own business just came out of one of the best months we’ve had in years, and we continue to grow very quickly. We’ve brought on several more people to the team, while most business owners are struggling. This isn’t because we’re any smarter or better — it’s because we are willing to take responsibility for our outcomes. That forces us to make different decisions. It allows us to impact what happens in our business. Like most entrepreneurs, we’ve had to adjust our business model, and change what we are doing. It’s not easy. It’s a hassle. It’s a pain in the <banned word filter activated>, and takes work. And it’s working. Really well. What’s the alternative? Blaming the economy? Let me know how that works out for you. How To Become Accountable For Your Outcomes If you’re sold on the idea that you MUST take responsibility for the results you get, the next question should be, “what’s the best way to do this?” In my experience, most people struggle to hold themselves accountable. They want to be accountable, but it’s very difficult to be your own guardian. The other major problem is that most people don’t get clear on what results they’re actually trying to achieve to begin with — and therefore never really know if they’ve achieved the results they’re after. So here are the 2 critical elements you need to ensure you remain accountable: Set Clear Goals And a Vision of Exactly What You Intend To Achieve Have An External System To Hold You Accountable To Those Outcomes It’s simply a matter of being VERY clear what you intend to create, and then don’t just try to hold yourself accountable. Find a good system that gives you the outside accountability you need. That can include a mastermind group that you have to report to, or could even be as simple as an “accountability partner” that you commit to, and follow up with. There are also great programs that will hold you accountable to the goals you set, like the 100 Day Challenge. There are a bunch of goal setting and accountability tools there, along with a cool program that helps you remain on track for 100 days of accountability. Whatever the case, you MUST have external help to remain accountable. Make this one commitment – that you are going to be 100% accountable for your outcomes – and watch your business, and your life, transform. Please let me know what you think below, as I’d love to hear your comments!
  3. I wonder out of all these girls who bin with muslims how many suffer self esteem issues This is a problem around the world now inunited states you have muslim boys dating and using sikh girls cause muslim girls our their sisters In canada you have afghan boys dating and using sikh girls Rather then getting to the core of the problem they play victim so they don't have to take responsibility
  4. Their are bad people and will be bad people in the world Before blaming the police Why has the community failed to educate these girls about the rich history of sikhism and principles of sikhism. How many of these girls deal with depression and low self esteem And why has the community failed to help members in the community who deal with such issues What about the girls who don't come from good homes. Were in the home their is a lot of fighting abuse We build these beautiful gurdwara and fight over stupid stuff yet fail to reach out to people who need help In a culture that prefers boys over girls what type of impact does it have on sikh women an their self estreem. My cousin teach's at a public school which is 90 percent sikh and when dealing with girls majority of the girls suffer self esteem issues, not just punjabi girls but research shows in western countries more then half the girls suffer low self esteem and start to diet at ages of 10. When suffering low self esteem they will behave in a way to get male attention ex they way they dress sleeping with different men an do this hoping the male attention will help them make them feel better about themselves The community acts like victims and are very reactive So how do we transform the community into being proactive and teach them to anticipate so the community no longer remains victimised With all the money sikhs have and give to the gurdwaras why don't we have after school programs to deal with these issues on a wide large scale rather then on a small scale
  5. I believe we need to attack issues in the west and punjab How do we do it
  6. Sanjay Dutt-Raj Kundra launch mixed martial arts league PTI | Jan 16, 2012, 10.26PM IST MUMBAI: Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has joined hands with businessman Raj Kundra to launch a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting league called SFL. The first 'Super Fight League' (SFL) event, being promoted by Dutt and Kundra's company Super Fight Promotions, will be held in Mumbai on March 11, followed by Chandigarh (April 7) and New Delhi (May 6). Promising thorough sportainment, each fight night is expected to have a minimum of seven fights, besides a Bollywood celebrity act and an after party for VIP ticket holders, organisers said. The first fight in Mumbai will see six Indian fighters in various weight categories, taking on six MMA fighters, which would be followed by the main event - a super heavy duel between United Kingdom's James Thompson and Bob Sapp of US. The fighters will go at each other for three five-minute rounds in which the judges would decide who won if neither of them is knocked out or has 'tapped out' (quits). It would be the referee's job to stop a fight if one of the fighters is unable to defend himself. "The mixed martial arts industry is valued at $2 billion in America alone. It is the fastest growing sport. The unpredictability of the sport is what makes it attractive," said Kundra, who also owns IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals along with actress-wife Shilpa Shetty, at a press conference on Monday. "MMA is a full combat sport comprising 36 different styles of fighting including karate, judo and kung-fu. We have (over 50) fighters from all around the world training for the past six months (for the league). They will also train fighters in the country," he said. Commenting on the revenue stream, Kundra said, "The revenue would be through advertising and sponsorship-based funding. We have link-ups with various websites and also TV deals. But we are holding them back. We would make an announcement shortly." On the occasion, Dutt said, "Martial arts began in India and left the country. We are trying to bring them back." "We have a camp in Nashik where the Indian fighters are being trained. Our dream is that fighters from our country should be known across the world." Dutt asserted that the fights in the league would be real and not staged. SFL chief executive officer Ken Pavia said though there are chances of injury in the sport, we have rules in place to ensure that fighters are not fatally wounded. "MMA is not human-cockfighting. Over 20 years, various rules have been made in America to ensure the safety of athletes." SFL chief operating officer Daniel Isaac, who is training fighters from the country, said the league was a great opportunity for the Indian fighters. "We are signing exclusive fighters from across the world. They already have 10-15 years of experience. Indian fighters have already started training at the grassroots. We have picked them from various 'akharas' (wrestling arena) and put them in our exclusive gyms. "There will be open trials in Punjab and Haryana. MMA is a great opportunity for Indian athletes who have great ability," Isaac added.

  8. Most sikhs want to be free from corruption yet vote in corrupt figures
  9. I don't want to sound extremely negative Just want somewere were I can talk about what worries me about were the sikh ppl are going In the west it doesn't feel good when you see someone born and raised in the west but don't know anything about are beautiful history, or what a sikh stands for, or understand the 5ks, or undertand are beautiful history It hurts seeing girls and guys who suffer from low self esteem and feel like they have no were to go and get themselves into stupid things. Girls who get into relationships with guys whose only intentions are to use them and sleep with them and guys who isolate themselves or turn to drugs Sikhi has some extremely powerfull. Teachings tools to apply for life and inspirational message yet this isn't getting in front of many people Are gurdwaras filled with politics that isolates a huge chunk of the community What can I and others do to get the beautiful teachings of sikhism in front of people and are great history in front of people
