  1. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa! Waheguru ji ki Fateh!! Guru HarGobind and Guru Gobind had armies, they themselves took part in battles. They and their Sikhs killed tyrants. “I have been sent into this world by the Preceptor-Lord to propagate Dharma (righteousness). The Lord asked me to spread Dharma, and vanquish the tyrants and evil-minded persons. 42. I have taken birth of this purpose, the saints should comprehend this in their minds. (I have been born) to spread Dharma, and protect saints, and root out tyrants and evil-minded persons.43.” Pg. 134 of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Guru Gobind Singh Sahib justified the use of the sword as a duty and as a means of protecting the weak and the oppressed. With human brutes, non-violence is meaningless. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib says: “When the affairs are past other remedies, It is justifiable to unsheath the sword. “ Tyrants are evil. They should be opposed in the interests of the good of humanity as a whole. The sword is neither to be used for conquest nor for wreaking vengeance. The sword is meant only for self-defence or for the good of the people. In cases of injustice and intolerance, the refusal to use the sword may do more harm than good. The Sikh's sword is not an instrument of offence but a symbol of independence, self-respect and power. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib called it Durga or Bhagwati and praises it thus : “Sword that smites in a flash, That scatters the armies of the wicked In the great battle-field, 0 symbol of the brave. Your arm is irresistible, your brightness shines forth The splendour of the black dazzles like the sun. Sword, you are the scourge of saints, You are the scourge of the wicked ; Scatterer of sinners, I take refuge with you. Hail to the Creator. Saviour and sustainer, Hail to you : Sword supreme !” Waheguru ji ka Khalsa! Waheguru ji ki Fateh!!

  3. pg 1094 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Fifth Mehl: I rise early, O my Husband Lord, to behold Your Vision. Eye make-up, garlands of flowers, and the flavor of betel leaf, are all nothing but dust, without seeing You. ||3|| pg 1103 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji They all apply make-up to their eyes; there is little difference between their objectives. But those eyes, to which the ointment of spiritual wisdom is applied, are approved and supreme. ||3|| pg 1203 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Saarang, Fifth Mehl: O mother, my patience is gone. I am in love with my Husband Lord. There are so many kinds of incomparable pleasures, but I am not interested in any of them. ||1||Pause|| Night and day, I utter, ""Pri-a, Pri-a - Beloved, Beloved"" with my mouth. I cannot sleep, even for an instant; I remain awake and aware. Necklaces, eye make-up, fancy clothes and decorations - without my Husband Lord, these are all poison to me. ||1|| pg 1361 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji O my companion, I have prepared everything: make-up, garlands and betel-leaves. I have embellished myself with the sixteen decorations, and applied the mascara to my eyes. If my Husband Lord comes to my home, then I obtain everything. O Lord! Without my Husband, all these adornments are useless. ||3||

"At the end of the day if people pray to Waheguru, owe their alligence to SGGS ji and do not commit the 5 sins what more can you ask for?" >>Follow the teaching of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji "We are born, and we grow, and having grown, we pass away. Before our very eyes, this world is passing away. ||1|| How can you not die of shame, claiming, ""This world is mine""? At the very last moment, nothing is yours. ||1||Pause|| Trying various methods, you cherish your body, but at the time of death, it is burned in the fire. ||2|| You apply sandalwood oil to your limbs, but that body is burned with the firewood. ||3|| Says Kabeer, listen, O virtuous people: your beauty shall vanish, as the whole world watches. ||4||11||" Pg. 325 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji "The bride may buy sandalwood oil and perfumes, and apply them in great quantities to her hair; she may sweeten her breath with betel leaf and camphor, but if this bride is not pleasing to her Husband Lord, then all these trappings are false. ||4||" pg 19 - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji "Ask any guy if he wants to marry a girl with facial hair and 99.99% will say no they wont. Lets come back to ground realities, this so called equality we are making for ourselves doesnt exist" >>How many Sikhs have you asked? Marrying someone with looks will only make you suffer.
