in my local gurdwara (UK) they used to distribute 'Ajit' newspaper for free but it was shortly stopped because it had anti-panthic advertisements like... Ajmeri Baba .. u knw the pandit that will sort all ur problems out @ lol (yeh rite) well it depends how strongly you feel.. but all im goona say is will you ever see a mosque distributing a newspaper that has non-halal meat advertising.. hmm

someone asked me whats the need for it to be established and how will sikhs benefit so could someone reply with some relevant arguments for the need of it and its benefits... because i get the impression many like myself don't know much about the new group for Sikhs

I think this is a great opportunity for our concerns to be raised esp with the media/politians not acknowleding backlashes against Sikhs

y wud sum1 want 2 hav a gora name when you can have a meaningful name from Gurbani, which will bring u closer to Guru Ji. y do 3ho Sikhs hav Sikh Names.. because they have meaning because they are associated with our greats Guru Ji's and there teachings

tru say.... wats the bragging about.. seva of money should always be anonamous.. that way u don't do it 2 get a bigger Ego the plaques u reffer 2 are of those ppl who hav donated the most money.... but who's 2 say who donates the most.. i mean, £100 donated by a poor person may be equivalent to £10,000 donated by a rich person.. jus cuz u donate the most amount don't mean u hav in the eyes of Guru Ji Anyway.. tru seva is from the heart.. regardless of the amount of money

Has anyone thought...lets ban sants cumin 2 England completely this will get rid of sum fake money grabbing Sants n hopefully leave the true ones maybe a bit harsh.. preventing True mahanpurshes cumin... But hey it may stop sum of the pakand in our panth - i herd this is what they did in Malaysia at first... n now only a select FEW are allowed to cum there ..may also be a push to actually start doing the seva OURSELVES n not relying on others (i really need to start doing sum seva) Jus a thought

Guru Ji is ONE with God..... BUT Guru Ji is not God ppl hav diff beliefs... but we should focus our attention on Waheguru Ji through the teachings of the Guru's ...Doesn't Guru Gobind Singh Ji say... 'any one who worships me will burn in hell' (this is off the top of my head) dnt get in an argument of whether there is hell... sum say there is a 'hell'.. i personally believe hell is in reference to being in the mothers womb again (its really hot there) ...as in being born over again

At a glance... i think Baba Ji's trying to keep his back straight..... sum very devout people believe that by only keeping the back straight during simran the 'dasm duar' can be opened i dnt know if this is true because only if i experience it will i know... n trust me i can't close to finding out anyway.... so i assume that the reason for the 'T' shaped wood object..to lean on because maybe Baba Ji did simran for long periods... i'm guessing ... aint sure really anyone else herd this

i was asked a q's by sum1, n they wanted FACTS about y radhaoswami's r anti-panthic i'v got sum radhaoswami cousins in canada n they r adiment that they are SIKH as well..stating Sikhi is a religion n radhoswami is a way of life.. i'm not too sure about that... is there any knowledgable souls who can provide sum FACTUAL info n NOT hear say about y radhaoswami's belief is not in line with sikhi. pls refrain from bashing them n just the facts because it is really easy to get off the topic especially on issues like radhaoswami's Thank you

i read the thread a couple of weeks bak when sum1 said Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale said 'What has taksal done for the panth'. personally i need evidence to prove this well i came across an article in Awaze Quam (issue No.978 - 22 Jun 05, p7) where Baba Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhinderanwale was being given praise after a Akhand Paath in his name by Damdami Taksal. Baba Harnam Singh, the new Jathedar was also given another dastarbandi for being the new Jathedar but this time ALL leaders were present (ie Simranjit Singh Mann, Jasbir Singh Rode etc) as well as mahanpurshes. Anyway my point being so was Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale and he gave a dastar to Baba Harnam Singh Surely if the statement 'What has Taksal done for the panth' were true, he wud not have been present This is an ASSUMPTION i make Personally we shud respect all Sants BUT follow only Guru Ji we shouldn't do nindian, im not sayin Baba Ranjit Singh is perfect, i know very little about him but unless u heard it u shudn't say it...without proof jus thought it let every1 know, if the Bhaji is rite then all i can do is apologise
