  1. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all, Sree Guru Granth Saahib Jee begins with '੧'. Someone may please explain it. What is '੧'? I will be grateful. Humbly Balbir Singh
  2. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all, The word 'dhoo' occurs two times in SGGS Jee. Both times it means densely. The 35th PauRee from Japu Jee Sahib is all about matters maintaining the universe. So are 'dhoo updes', innumerable densely discourses by the preachers. These lack intellectual acuity. The word 'dhroo' occurs twelve times in SGGS Jee. Every time it is about dhroo who did Simran of Hari Naam. That leads one to transcend the universe and let him merge into God. Balbir Singh
  3. MokhamSingh Jee, You wrote "My personal understanding is that Satguru is telling us to meditate on Waheguru," Gurdev suggested Jeeo to Jap Raam 'aise aise'. Please elaborate it. What compelled you to write "Satguru is telling us to meditate on Waheguru." You extended it "with the depth of conviction adopted by Dhru and Prahladh." May I request you to explain it. What is the depth of conviction adopted by Dhru and Prahladh? Further you wrote "'Aise Aise', literally translated means, 'in this way'...." Please explain it. 'Aise' may mean 'in this way'. Why Gurdev wrote the word 'aise aise', i.e., two times aise aise? Balbir Singh
  4. MokhamSingh Jee, Your thirst is natural and your quest for knowledge is unique. Please start a new thread on this forum with your questions. Also, and do not change it or run away from the topic like you are doing here. The topic of this thread is "What Do Gurdev's Words 'aise aise' mean?" Balbir Singh
  5. MokhamSingh Jee, You asked "does SGGS allow one to fornicate with one's own mother or sister?" Please ask your holy parents the high spiritual questions. Balbir Singh
  6. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal, Dear all and MokhamSingh Jee, Thanks for your reply. I hope I have understood it correctly. Aise means 'focus on Simran with the dedication'. The second 'aise' means 'sharda'. Balbir Singh ***** luckysingh99 Jee, You wrote "Yes, exactly as in above post by Mokham Singh.... ''aise aise'........... means....thus, like this,as such, such like...etc...." Are these, yours and MokhamSingh Jee's explanations, same things? You wrote further "Dhroo was innocent 5 yr old that meditated in simple manner of JAP of God's name.(does NOT matter what name he used or we should use)" I feel Jeeo should do Jap exactly as Gurdev has instructed. Jeeo should do Raam-Jap such like Dhroo and Prahalaad have done Jap of Hari. Or Jeeo should do JAP as you have suggested that "does NOT matter what name he used or we should use." Balbir Singh
  7. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal, Dear all, This is the wonderful and very precious line (Vaak) from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. ਰਾਮ ਜਪਉ ਜੀਅ ਐਸੇ ਐਸੇ ॥ राम जपउ जीअ ऐसे ऐसे ॥ raam japao jee aise aise. SGGS Ang 337-3 Someone may please explain the point from Gurdev. What does 'aise aise' indicate? I will be grateful. Humbly. Balbir Singh
  8. harsharan000 jee, I am also curious to know the answer. Do you have any?
  9. harsharan000 jee, bdemon's question is not answered. He asked "Is There A Right Way Of Doing Naam Japna?"
  10. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all and Sat1176 jee, You wrote "Which sadhu do you suggest we do the sangat of so they impart this naam on us?" This is the first thing to remember. Don't search him with a crowd. One proceeds on the inner journey alone. One is pushed into the inner sky and the Guru is recognized. The flight begins. A Sadhu is not recognized by a dress or a drama around him. A Sadhu recognizes you and God's impulse that your earned Karmas are ripened. In that case he picks you up from a crowd also. Balbir Singh
  11. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all and Sat1176 Jee, SGGS Jee is the authentic source for all your answers. The true Guru clearly says that true Naam is received in the company of the Sadhu. The true Naam is not received by reading. Please do not ask me to write an article about it. I feel you are a smart person to understand the Guru. Please listen. Gurdev is singing. ਮੈ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਪੜਿਆ ॥੧॥ मै मूरख हरि हरि जपु पड़िआ ॥१॥ mai moorakh hari hari japu paRhiaa. SGGS Ang 163-18 Ego moorakh reads the Hari Hari Jap. Balbir Singh
  12. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all, On the spiritual Path it is the individual's journey and his own experiences those play role. The spiritual journey is never borrowed. Balbir Singh
  13. harsharan000 jee, What is that Shabad, one can cross over to the other side with that? How does one receive it and is convinced that he is riding on the right boat? Balbir Singh
  14. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal, Dear all, True Guru's Vaaks are not riddles to solve. True Guru's Vaaks are experiences of solved riddles. Balbir Singh
