  1. Theres a book called 'Jail Chitian' (not the one written by Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh) which contains all their letters they wrote to their family when they were in jail. The book is in Punjabi, I havent personally read the book yet, but will do once I get hold of it.
  2. shamsher, where you from brother? I would like to meet you to discuss some of this further in person.

  4. Ive got a recorded interview of Shaheed Bhai Baljinder Singh Rajus mother. She spoke of things that I don't think many people know. She told me alot of stuff in detail. When I get time i'll translate it in to english and post it here..need a picture of Raju if anyone has got one. Just to add, before Sukha, Jinda n Raju left their homes to take up their seva. Mata Ji (Rajus mother) was the one who did their ardas for the seva to be successful. Where have these mothers gone???? We've lost our spirit!!!

  6. Gurfateh Ji 2day is the 15th Barsi of Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda...Dhan Guru Dhan Guru piyare!!! If you don't know who they were, then please visit www.neverforget84.com and find out who they were!!! Alot of people are very anti Kharkhoo Singh because they think the Singhs were too much into siphai part but not the sant part of Sikhi. These two amazing souls had a nitnem of 16-18 hours long. It is said that they were reading 11 Sukhmani Sahib, 25 Japji Sahib and 7 Bania (Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasaad Savaiya Sahib, Chaupee Sahib, Anand Sahib, Rehraas Sahib and Kirtan Sohila Sahib) daily!!! There was another Singh with them in the movement called (Shaheed) Bhai Baljinder Singh Raju. Not many people know about this amazing Gursikh. He was related to Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and was very close friends with Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh. He used to wake up at 12-12.30am and start his nitnem, which consisted of 5 Sukhmani Sahib de paat as well as 7 Bania. He then used to go study at College. In his spare time he used to do alot of Chaupee Sahib de paat. Most of the Singhs who fought in the movement were jeevan vale, Sant-Siphai, Bani-Bana Singhs. Dhan Guru Dhan Guru piyare!!!

  8. I know a Singh who's selling vajeh in Leicester/Coventry, he's got about 3/4 vajeh for sale. His names Juggy, I just spoke to him and he said if your interested give him a ring on 07723072255.
  9. Is this Aman Dhaliwal guy the same one who was at Cov Uni yesterday? The Murakh who did the talk at Cov said he used to study in London and I think he's from Birmingham.
  10. Just to add to the initial post: Its not racial hatred its RELIGIOUS hatred!!! Its alot more serious! I've showed the video to my solicitor and he thinks we got grounds to take it furthe, however we need the Sikh community to back us on this one!!! We're always shooting ourselves in our own foot! We need to stick together and file as much complaints as possible!!! Just another thing, the Islamic Society gave out two flyers, one which stated 'My journey to Islam', which was openly distributed. The other was 'My journey from Sikhism to Islam', which was privately circulated! If the Uni claims it was unintentional then whats with the two different flyers???
  11. For anyone who wants to know more about Islam then please visit: www.faithfreedom.org Then tell me what you think of Islam
  12. "Dasam Granth isnt our "second" Guru... sorry if I misread your post.. It is just a compilation of Guru Gobind Singh Ji." Its a compilation of Guru Gobind Singh Jis BANI!!! Bani Guru Guru Hai Bani Vich Bani Amritsareh
  13. Also...if you do train try to do Simran while you train or maybe small Bir Ras Banis from Sri Dasm Granth Sahib ji
  14. Even if the Edward St is "pretty poor", who cares just train! Singh's didn't have no multi-gyms back in their time, they did desi exercises and used anything for weights! People say whats the point of training...we wont be saying that if we're in the same situation as that guy in Oxford! Singhs back in the days would start the first pauri of Jaap Sahib when facing an enemy in battle and they'd kill the enemy before finishing the pauri. Can you imagine that... Chhapai chhand Tva Prasaad chakar chihan ar barn jaat ar paat nehin jih roop rang ar rekh bhekh kouu kih n sakt kih achal moorat anbhau prakaas amitoj kahijai kot indr indran saahi saahaan ganijai tribhavan maheep sur nr asur net net ban trin kahat tva sarab naam kathai kavan karam naam barnat sumat Amazing!!! thats what you call warriors!!!
  15. I recently read an article on how the police didnt respond in the correct manner regarding the attack of a Sikh lad who had his dastar pulled off and was beaten. And it made me think...did the sikh react in the correct manner? Guru Sahib created saint-soldiers, so why is it our 'Singhs' are in the media reporting that they've beaten up? What happened to those saint-soldiers that Guru Sahib created? We spend ours in front of our computers talking rubbish on these forums, why can't we start learning how to defend ourselves? We're living off the reputation of our ancestors, its embarrasing to hear such stories of Sikhs being beaten up! Guru Sahib created the Khalsa to protect the defenseless, we can't even defend ourselves! Im a firm believer in the fact that if a Sikh was to use his/her Sri Sahib nowadays then we're in big trouble, we can say goodbye to our rights of wearing our Sri Sahib legally. However that does'nt stop us from learning Self-defense, Boxing, Shin-Kin, Grappling or Judo, these don't involve the use of weapons. Even if your physically fit enough to run away from an attacker, your better off doing that rather then getting battered. We claim that sant first then siphai, thats true but it takes a lifetime to become a sant so does that mean we sit a home with a maalaa all day? No What it means is that first we should adopt the qualities of a sant first and then a siphai. Think like a sant first i.e. always try to avoid a situation, try to resolve a situation without using any physical means. "Focus on Naam, have faith in Guru Ji, do as much sangat as you can, go to rehansebhai's and Guru Sahib will protect you" I always get told these things whenever I speak to anyone about the siphai part of Sikhi. But when we have exams we have to revise, when we want to learn how to drive we take driving lessons, when we want to learn how to do Kirtan we go to Kirtan lessons, just like if you want to learn how to defend yourself you need to train! We're turning Sikhi in to Bahmanism, when we say that if we do enough paat maharaj will give us the ability to fight! If that was the case then why did our Guru's do Shastar Vidya? Guru Gobind Singh Ji could have clicked their fingers and the Khalsa's dusht could have been destroyed. But Maharaj didn't do that because to lead by example and show that Sikhi is practical. Anyone in Coventry who would like to learn please contact me as there are classes set up in the Gurdwara. Also we might set up a website simply going through how we can mentally be prepared and how to avoid a situation, prevention is always the best option. Sorry if anyone is offended by these views Bhul chuk maaf
  16. Vahiguru jee kaa Khalsa, Vahiguru jee kee Fateh Warning to the Sikh youth, there seems to be a cult who are brainwashing Sikh youth into retaking their Amrit! These poor innocent youth are made to believe that there Amrit is not proper Amrit, and have to retake it to become proper KHALSA! They are also filled with stories that if you take Amrit from our 'jatha' you will start 'flying' in our members only amritvela! This members only amritvela is proof of how BRAHMINISM is still infiltrating Sikhi! They tell the youth that if you do abhiyas with us you'll get ridhia sidhia within a couple of months...very similar to what radhasoamis say. This is a warning to the Sikh youth to please be careful, these people wear Gurus Bana however they do shanka on Guru ji's pavitar Bani! What happened to Ram Rai??? They make you feel like an outsider but if you show a bit of interest then they convert you...quite similar tactics to muslims! Do not take my word, research for yourself. Research for yourself how Guru Nanak Dev Ji's philosophy differs from these people! Vahiguru jee kaa Khalsa, Vahiguru jee kee Fateh
  17. Oh great another wedding! All info make sure post all the info on here so i come as well!
  18. Sat sri akal. Im really confused, if its so wrong to take guru granth sahib ji in pubs then why are only a handful of people going down stop it happening? Is it just that these people who go down have got nothing better to do with their time, or possibly hidden agendas....or should we all support them? (dont mean to offend) No sikh leaders participate or organisations, so thats why i think twice about if its right or not to participate. Also you never hear of any nishkaam sevak jatha, akj's or taksali's who stop these weddings...whom i regard as leaders of the khalsa panth! So it can't be that wrong...surely if these people don't attend! The 13 shaheed of 1978 were mainly 'akj' but when i speak to any gursikhs who regard themselves as akj, they don't want to know about this! They just smile...is it because they accept maharaj's hukam! Some singh said to me that it is not neccessary to go because if you notice its only singh's...so if it was neccessary to stop such a 'beadbi' then these singhnia who wear the dastaar of guru gobind singh ji would also stand up and be counted. Please someone enlighten me! I know of a wedding coming up in a hall in the uk but i am confused...therefore i am in two minds about telling someone! Sat sri akal
