Gurfateh... Im shocked at what DivineJourney said...U may have sex for pleasure?? Then how on earth will u ever overcome the 1st vice...ie Kaam (lust) ???? If u keep having sex everyday for the pleasure of it, the thought of sex will always be on ur mind...N u'll always be lusting for more n more...Its tht simple...However, if u can somehow wrestle wth kaam, then I'm juz amazed...Pleasures tht were mentioned by DivineJourney are pleasures which live the mind lusting only 4 a short term...However sex is an experience u go thru ....n it will DEFINETLY leave u lusting for more...its THT simple... Yup, ill feel funny if i were to c 1..But then again, Sunny is right too....B4 u point ur finger at members of other races, we should all see how much Sikh youths today value da kara as a kakaar...I hv seen COUNTLESS Sikh youths ( boys n gals alike ) who wear a kara n even hv a dastar but these same ppl smoke n consume alcohol...They treat kara nothin more than a must-wear-religious-symbol as preordained by their older generation...Then y do we ignorantly point fingers at others when the members of our own race r NOT respecting da kara??? Y r we so blatantly accusing others on da name of Sikhi when we ourselves or our other brothers n sisters fail to respect da kakaars??? Gurfateh.....I truly agree with All-Info... Its the Christians tht set time to go to church on Sundays...not Sikhs!...Plus , wht if there is Sangrand on a weekday??? Then wht? No need to go becoz too tired?? U wish....The fact remains tht a vast majority of Sikhs only go to Gurdwara on Sundays when its sumone's prog...not out of love for Guruji...But anyway , wht matters here is da 'khech' towards guruji...Life is all about choices .. It all boils down to whether u wana make a particular choice or not....Ur life , ur choice...I may add a million posts here urging u to go to gurdwara everyday...But if u remain steadfast n disagree with me, i cant help u....The choice is urs....If u feel tht u are able to make it to the gurdwara on weekdays too, then gud 4 u...But if u dont, too bad... but the choice is urs....So, Sangat Ji , Plz do opt 4 wht u feel is right as it is u who has to make the choice.... Gurfateh...Sangat ji....i wanted to ask this question since quite sum time ago...Finally gotten da chance....Can anybody tell me the difference between a dhumala n a normal dastar i.e. a sharp dastar like the one in dis smiley :T: .. Gurfateh....Well, ur situation is kind of common where im from...But y do u worry about wht she said?? Tht's not a hukumnama from Guruji...U know sumthin...When i myself first wore a dhumala , some members of the sangat approached me n ridiculed me...they said tht i look stupid n asked me whether i wanna become a giani in future...I juzt smiled n walked away...Then in school too, i was often made fun of....But only one thought made me never stop or refrain from wht i was doing....tht is the love for Guruji...Do not worry about wht ppl say about u...But keep on walking on gurmat marag which very few ppl walk upon...remember wht i said...ur never alone ...He is always there...Gurfateh..
