Although the "Rally/March for Remembrance, Justice and Freedom" is a success every year, Daas has a feeling that this year is going to be the biggest one ever as it is being organised on a more global scale. This will also mean more global organisation and it is good the sangat is being informed as soon as possible in advance. First of all, NEVER refer to Sant Jee the way you did, at the VERY least a "SINGH" in the name, I don't understand why some people think they can refer to such Mahaan Soorme in such ways, I doubt if anyone here was even 0.000000(x1000).1 the SINGH Sant Jee was. So, no one asked for it, the government asked us to ask for it by proving that we are not wanted in India as we are second class citizens by attacking such a Holy place of worship, burning our unreplacable literature, dozens of other Gurdwara's at the same time...Burning Sree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj...Killing THOUSANDS of innocent people.....etc etc the list goes on............... @ the Pindoo mentality part...soo true..... ...but yes, on the serious side I think that is a real good idea, it will work out much better in groups rather than one or two people in one village, how Daas tries to do with cousin brothers at the moment. The Gurdwara is actually (or was) suppose to be quite a Panthic one, and has been one of those that have been in the forefront for the Sikh Struggle in the past many years, (also the huge photo collection in the Langar Hall of Shaheed Singhs is beautiful ), but there has been a major problem I think with their internal politics that has let the GuruGhar down recently. This is just from what I've heard by the way and may not be true, but it does seem very likely. The Singh Sabha Gurdwara on the other hand has been very helpful, especially with the youth and getting them involved and giving support...etc etc. They also have excellent discussions, where the youth get together and do Panthic, Gurmat Vechaar...etc on friday evenings which is very good. But hope there is a valid reason for their lack of recent support and hope a good valid response is given by the committee in light of the Statement above.
