First of all..... try to be faithful to a country and to respect in a country to live u have to follow certain rules and that rules are our cosntitution etc and this is there to keep us in social limits..... now how can it be not good for sikh to bow against a flag or something..... coz the respect should automatically comes inside of us?? why coz we live in that country...it has given us a chance to sruvive, a place to live, a job etc etc.... given us rights to abide our religion etc etc..... if u cosnider bowing in front og flag bad and not allowed why we namaskar nishan sahib... in generally thre is nothing religous related with nishan sahib to be bowed too... it is jst meant as a indication that there is a sikh temple here... regarding jana gana mana..... u will hear the name of ur land in that...i.r. punjab... that is for a whole nation and not for any king george or anybody else.... First of all use of alcohol is banned in our religion but that is if u intentionally use it for nasha and using perfume is notever requierd to be banned... so dont mix it up with alcohol..... in this way u wont be able to eat medicines also whch contains animals bones, alcohol and wat not.... Also u have given a one example from gurbani... but that is that i dont need anything to get my guru.... but gurbani also writes the saf suthra rakho apne aap nu.... and also take care of others... so applying perfume or deos is one step in keeping urself clean and avoiding other peoples botheration.... There is a size limit for the kirpan u can take and i dont know which place u r talking about... maybe in states due to 9/11 they are more concerned and more strict but their is a size limit as i have been to alot of countries and never faced a problem with small silai or kirpan...

well there is not point in ur saying veerji.... first of all try to stay faithful to one religion...i mean to say first make urself strong from outside for ur religion and then go cleaning inside...when ur outside is not make u belong to a relgion how can u develop a feeling of a sikh and how can u make ur inside like a gursikh.... so outer is a must and inner comes afterwards.. If you know english people during their rule in India only keep those sikhs in army who didnt trimmed their beards and hairs... coz they said if a person is not faithful to his religion how can he be faithful to us... I hope u understand my point... and I feel that u r also a beard trimmed sikh....

Dear untitled veer... there is nothing of such sort that u should ask for a opinion on this turban tying contest... infact what was their in the article is all about propagating sikh religion towards to sikh youth and to make them come back into main stream as they are going away from it now a days...

This is not true veerji.... i have seen jat people youth clean shaved and cut surd while their fathers and mothers as amritdhari... and this cut culture is 99% prevalent in jats... sorry to say but it is fact... it doesnt mean that they are not being in touch with culture and not seeing his father about all this amrit thing... the thing is who cares is their policy and they dont treat anybody should disturb them whatever u do... if u are in punajb see for ur eyes and if u are in states etc... see jat people around you u will find hardly 5% as a pooran sikh

mere pyaare veerji, i have also been to seoul and i only met one sikh boy there in the famous shopping street and he was wearing a patka... otherwise i havnt seen any sikh person there (keshadari).... and believe me poeple jst use to stop their cars to see me moving around in streets..... i do faced discrimination two times in MRT and then one person asked me are u muslim.... and then i said no I am sikh and he said I dont know about this religion of India.... I am not talking of ur work enviroment where u father has worked coz i am having no problem at my work places too... i am talking of normal day to day places where u go and visit for ur daily lviing and stuffs..... and whoever ask to me i try to let them clear about my religion and their beliefs... i m doing watever i can do... but its sad to know ur answer of jst making me sit idle and adjust and let sikh people feel discrinination....
