Sorry to say but who thinks he is a 100% sikh??? being a sikh needs alot of qualities and getting all qualities in a person is a rare case..... so try to be 100% sikh as I feel nobody here is 100% sikh bhul chuk maaf

Thanks to Mehtab Singh and to my loving sis, but still i have some doubts..... when all our guru believed in a surpreme being how can they put the name of the guru nanak dev ji, for which we know he was roop of almighty but he was still a vessel in which their was light of almighty. if Guru Arjun Dev ji has to praise somebody it should have been almighty as Guru nanak Dev ji never asked to praise somebody by name or a person and our all gurus believed in one supreme being.... bhul chuk maaf

Dear SS members, I have one question (clearification) ona Gurbani Tuk which reads like this SAB TE VADHA SATGURU NANAK, JIN KAL RAAKHI MERI As far as I think Guru Nanak didnt praised himself not referred to himself in any of his writings... but it is read like this everywhere even in shabads also I think it should be like this SAB TE VADHA SATGURU, NANAK! Dont forget SSM veer that the girl belongs to a jat caste and if u see these days jat girls never prefer using kaur and jst simply put their first name and then the surname as i observed this around 90% during my university and college teaching. and sorry to say i hope nobody is offended with this but I am really very hurt by the way of jatt peoples and their attitude towards their religion especially in India and this has put the wrong affect on other communities also and they are jst following them and what happened is that in Punjab people are jst going away from sikh stream... thats a very sad aspect of the present day punjab

Well its a matter of worry that people has been taken hostage. But these terrorists who are doing hostage jst do this to show their presence. If somebody remembers during iraq war what happend... they took hostage three indians working there and demanded that if india didnt stopped helping coalition and take thier forces away they will kill those three hostages. Now somebody go and tell those terrorists that dear india is not at all involved in fight and nor do he had forces there with coalition to fight against it. the result was obvious the three opeople got released but then since they made them hiostage and some demand has to be made otherwise they would have lost creditibility then finally they say no indian should work for companies in iraq...sounds funny so this will also get solved since neither canada has his forces in iraq with coalition nor did canada supported war as he was against the war in UNO meetings and everywhere... fateh

Well we dont ave to worry about those people making comments coz whatever comment I have seen from those people they are coming due to jealousy and that one jealousy is why we have to adhere to certain rules and sikhs are allowed. White people are the most law breakers (i m tlaking of normal opeoples). they themselve cant do anything and blame others for taking their things and jobs. They are just jealous coz sikhs are taking every sector of their society by storm and what option these people has left with them is to work under some sikh person etc etc and which they find bad as they consider themselves to be white men superior (as said in old soieties of their's) so let the hatred come out maybe this is the only way they let it come out and it will pure their heart and make them think otherwise if something remains for more time in body becomes a disease.. this is jst hate and only the replies of the people who jst has no aim in life and has been shown down in front of sikhs... fateh

First of all i m sorry if I say something wrong, but what I have seen in this thread is that two persons fighting justifying their interpretors and their interpretations right. This is not a good thing, never pose any other thoughts on others as every person has different view of thinking and seeing and so is these wordly scholars. Jst give it a cool reding and both should try to read what both are mentioning and come up with some common decision or maybe they have to compare them with other interpretations. Secondly you tow are talking of gurbani and interpreattions but you peopl are fighting like maniacs and looses the fisrt property of being a sikh. you people should behave like a decent sikh and show some respect to ech other. and dont forget that Guru ji was was born in Hindu religion and that was the religion domionant and that time, so whatever u will see in gurbani can also be taken from the prevailing stories at that time about the hindu dieties etc and was put in the form of a shabd by nanak ji. so dont fight whichever one feels happy with go with that story. and for kookar veer, dear i dont know about hindu dieties as there is nothing concrete available for them and are considered to be mythology and hence we cant know who exactly was whom as people has done the interpretations themselves and hence there are different origin stories prevalant in differnt parts of the world... so compare before u come to one decision. Sinister bro, What is your problem??? let me tell you one simple way...follow some good religion of your own choice... dont run behind sikhism coz i am sure that is not made for you. Coz from whatever I have noticed till now neither u have read anything related to gurbani nor to put gurbani in your posts or explnataions. To me what I feel is that you think yourself to very well verse in knowledge by going through every scholar written book and u hardly understand the simple words of gurbani which kharkoo veer tried to explain you very very clearly. but you keep repearting the same mistakes again and again without trying to learn gurbani. I think communist thinking is the best religion for you and you suit it very good. You know what I am a purely your kind of person coz you know what science always start with who, why and what, but their a sincere effort is done to reach for this who, why and what and never anything is said vaguelessly and thats the reason i dont mention anything about gurbani coz i feel i have the minimun gyaan of it in this forum and secondly posing any comments without any knowledge is not justified as my ignorance will lead to disrespect or our gurbani... but you should atleast do some sincere effort to learn it before making any comments. Let me give u one example if u question guruji. have you been to Bidar (Nanak Jheera) its a place in karnataka where only one place where guru ji brought water with his foot mark (that water is only sweet) and all the rest of the area water is salty and this they did on the request of local beings there when they requested. Some scientists went there as that water flow is continuosly flowing from past many centuries and they started digging for around 2 miles and couldnt find the source and finally left the search. So science is still to explain alot of things so dont compare the two and science can never say anything coz man is still finding it out. One more thing is gurbani says there is 83Lakh forms of living, and scientists are still proving and hasnt reached to this number till now but what scientists speculate is what we have studied till now is only 5% of the total forms available.... Kharkoo veer I totally agree with your views and replies as they are very strong and holds gurbani examples.... you know what I feel with few of my brothers here that they dont understand the true meaning of Guru, Shabad, Gurbani.... they jst take it casually as Guru being a person (like we read in newspapers, news etc), shabad as word (like any word) and gurbani compilation of those words... this is what some people take it as and starts discussing on it with materialistic examples and never ever tried to give a gurbani example in favour of it.... i am highly enlighted by kharkoo veer responses and now there is a feeling in me to learn my religion to depth, despite being my all busy schedueles and research work.... thanks kharkoo veer for such a good replies...i really like reading it... Jst a simple scientific fact about polygamy.... scientists proved that persons involved in this lives less life that person having relation with one girl... so if u want to live life to large extent then be faithful to ur single love.... fateh
