That's true for Indian Sikhs not for Western Sikhs. Turban will only vanish if Sikhi vanishes and that will never happen.

Dont forget dera premis also vandalized many buses and burned vehicles belonged to Sikhs. The part that saddens me is that Sikhs are becoming weaker in Punjab

I believe most people commenting here are not married. Some of them don't want to get married, some don't want kids. Let me tell you, A long time ago, before coming into Sikhi( born into sikh family but never was a Sikh), I wanted to be a NUN as I got my schooling from a catholic school. I didn't want any family. No husband, no kids and wanted to stay away from my parents. That was my PLAN. Did it happen? NO Guruji had different plans for me. Now I am Amritdhari, married and have a kid. SO JUST CHILL!! :biggrin2:

My parents never talked to me about Sant ji. I came to know about him when we moved out of India and started going to local Gurdwara. Our older generation does not want to talk about 84. I have seen sikhs who live in foreign countries are more vocal and Gurdwaras do more prachar about it but in India, its a taboo subject esp, in cities.
