  1. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! yeaterday i met my school friend. he is amritdhari & also doing sewa in panj piares in nagarkeertans. v hav gone for dinner. he asked for eggs & told tht in sikhism eggs r allowed. i know eggs r not alowed.but i hav no words (proof, sakhis, links) so that i can tell him.
  2. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!In this age of fast and electronic communications, I would like to know what links do the S.G.P.C. and the different Takhats in India and all the Gurdwaras in India as well as abroad have? What I would like to know is whether all of them as stated above have been hooked up in a common server so that whatever decisions or mattas or hukumnamas are issued by the S.G.P.C. or the Akal Takhat are sent across to all through the net or the computer technology. For this to take place , all of them have to have a computer set in their premises or Gurdwaras so that the same is communicated with the Sikh masses all over the world. Take for example the case of the implementation of the Nanakshahi calendar. Reports were available that there was confusion in many towns and many observed the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Singh Ji on the 6th of June instead of the 16th June as per the NanakShahi calendar. Why was this confusion in the first place? The possible reason is that the Gurdwaras all over the world were not intimated about this and I am yet to receive the said calendar from our local Gurdwaras . The general public or the Sikhs are fully entitled to rceive the hukumnamas or mattas which are the concern of all Sikhs and once the computers are installed , then printouts of same can be taken out and handed over to the sangat attending the Gurdwaras. This, however, is the need of the day and the benefits will be tremendous. Probably the networking could be done in a phased manner: - (i) By setting up a full fledged Secretariat a t Akal Takhat Sahib and small Sectts. at all the Takhats; (ii) Connecting all the Takhats through computers; (iii) Linking all the Gurdwaras of the world with the Takhats Trying to be on the path of Sikhi, singh khalistan da post ur views

  7. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Hello, has anyone heard of this Baba? There are two Baba Harnaam Singh ji's one was the teacher of Baba Nand Singh Sahib and the other from se kanieyeha?? I was read their biography from BOSS-UK website. Its a good website. Here is a story I'd like to share 26. Mortal (Dehthaari) Guru Gets OutlawedThere was another event in relation to Doctor Kartar Singh which is necessary to mention, which enforced the path of Gurbani in his life even further. With Baba ji's inspiration and company he had become a firm believer in 'Baani Guru Guru Hai Baani'. But his father and the rest of his family had great faith in a Nirankaree Dehthaari (mortal) guru (by the name of baba hari singh- in lower case because he was a totally fake samosa) of Ravalpindi - who in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji called himself guru and made people bow down to himself. He would quote through Gurbani but would twist meanings to confuse people to believe that it was telling them that a 'person' was required. And that without a mortal guru, reading Gurbani was of little spiritual benefit for the soul. 'Whoever tells you of Gurbani and shows you the spiritual path, he is the true Guru'. But Doctor was now a firm believer in the Gurbani which this man was swaying everyone away from. Doctor had an older sister Bibi Prem Kaur who lived in Lahore. She had an Akhand Paat at her house. She had invited all her relatives and she had lovingly invited Baba ji to attend. Baba ji, Avtar Singh Daler, Squadron Leader Surath Singh (now in 35 Sector Chandigar) and his you nger brother Wing Commander Moorath Singh and some others arrived at Prem Kaur's house one day before completion of the Akhand Paat (Bhog). Many discussed Gurbani with Baba ji until evening. GURBANI IS GURU That evening, Kartar Singh' father arrived from Ravalpindi and brought Hari Singh (dehdhaari guru) with him. All the family greeted their 'guru' with garlands of flowers and prepared a nice room for him to stay in. After eating, the congregation went and sat with him. Doctor sahib and his colleagues began with the question 'Is Gurbani Guru?' and after a while, a big argument broke out. The argument continued for some hours but there was no conclusion. Doctor Kartar Singh decided that this ought to be settled today - is Gurbani Guru or is there a need for a dehthaari guru? Doctor said very firmly that there would be no answer using these methods, we need a firm answer. He put forward a challenge saying he, who while sitting in the sangat, can go to Kashmir with his astral body (soul) and get five kilos of apples, we will believe him. After hearing this challenge, the whole congregation sat in silence. Then, Doctor's father said, first ask your Bhai Sahib (Baba ji) if he agrees to this. We will decide here. Bhai Sahib and some others then got up and went to Baba ji and told him what they had decided. After listening, Baba ji stayed silent for a while then replied 'Well, if this will decide how we conduct ourselves and respect our Guru-Gurbani, then instead of five kilos, the sangat will get ten kilos. This is not a big thing. I will simply do an Ardaas. Satguru Ji will definately fulfill it. In hearing this, Baba ji's friends did a 'Jaikaaraa' and then went to the dehthaari's room. There, they asked him if he would bring back ten kilos rather than five. Where did he stand in this situation? After hearing this he bluntly refused and said that he did not get involved in these displays of miracles . He told them how they had invited him to their house and humiliated him; with this excuse he promptly left in the middle of the night! In the morning at the Bhog, 'Gurbani is Guru' prevailed and this was the topic of inspiration. After the Keertan, Baba ji gave an explanation of the Gur-Vaak and convinced them all that if they wanted Guru Ji's blessing, they would have to go and present themselves to the Panj Pyaaray, who are Guru Ji's own and have been given Guru Ji's blessing (Dheekhiaa). Meaning that Khandey Dhaa Amrit is ABSOLUTELY imperative for every Gursikh. When a Gursikh takes Amrit and grasps Guru Granth Sahib Ji's path, he NEVER has any need for a dehthaari guru. Doctor Sahib and some other premees arranged for the day of the Amrit Sanchaar. Baba ji got together five Amritdhaari Singhs and many took Amrit in Lahore. Every Gursikh should remain aware of this. A Gursikhs Guru is Gurbaani. Sri Guru Raam Daas Ji's Baani in Raag Natt makes it clear, and leaves no doubt that this does not apply to ANY dehthaari: 'Baani Guru Guru Hai Baani Vich Baani Amrit Saaray || Gurbaani Kahay Sevak Jan Maanay Parthakh Guru Nisthaaray ||' Natt M:4 Page 982 'Satgur Bachan Bachan Hai Satgur Paadhar Mukath Janaavaigo ||' Kaanraa M:4 Page 1309 Paadhar = straight level roadway to liberation 'Satgur Kee Baani Sat Saroop Hai Gurbaani Baneeai ||' Vaar Gauri M:4 Page 304 Sat Saroop = Vaheguru Ji's own form 'Satgur Baani Purakh Purakhotham Baani Sio Chitlaavaigo || Gurbaani Sunath Meraa Mann Draviaa Mann Bheenaa Nijj Ghar Aavaigo || Kaanraa M:4 Page 1308 Purakhotham = the higher than high being (Parmeshar) The need is for us to recognise Gurbaani as Satguru Ji's OWN form and to have full faith and take shelter in it. Whoever does will.............. 'Jo Sunay Kamaavai So Uthrai Paar ||' ; Asa M:5 Page 370 -----------------cross over the worldly ocean!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! On his return journey home he stopped at Saidpur in western Punjab during the invasion of the first Mughal Emperor Babar. On seeing the extent of the massacre by the invaders, Mardana asked Guru Nanak why so many innocent people were put to death along with those few who were guilty. Guru Nanak told Mardana to wait under a banyan tree and after a while he would return to answer his question. While sitting under the tree Mardana was suddenly bitten by an ant. In anger Mardana killed as many ants as he could with his feet. Guru Nanak said to him, "You know now Mardana, why do the innocents suffer along with the guilty?"

No Islam or Christian beliefs can change that. When the guru's word abides with one's soul, nobody can take that away from them, it is indestructable. It ha s been evident all throughout the short Sikh history. Just ask the great Sikh martyrs Bhai Satidass Ji, Bhai Dayal Dass Ji, Bhai Mani Singh Ji, Bhai Subeg Singh Ji, Bhai Shahbaz Singh Ji, Guru Gobind Singh Ji's four sons, and hundreds of Sikh women who had their childrens' body parts tied around their necks but they did not convert to Islam because they had the Naam with their 'saas saas' with each and every breath. That was just a few. All the hukumats of this world tried their best to eliminate the Sikhs from the face of this earth but to no avail. It is mission impossible because Truth cannot be destroyed!
  10. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Author: Kulbir Singh Date: 04-17-03 15:53 One day Guru Sahib - Guru Gobind Singh jee asked sangat who the king was during the time of Bhagat Kabir jee. One Sikh said that the king was Humayun. Another Sikh got up and said that the king was in fact Babur. Another Sikh suggested that the king during the time of Bhagat Kabir jee was Sikandar Lodhi. Many other guesses were made. All this time Guru Sahib kept smiling and did not approve of any name. In the end, Guru Sahib said that the purpose of his question was to tell that the bhagat (devotee of Vaheguru) is greater than any other person in the world. He said that this is a perfect example that all of the sangat knows about Bhagat Kabir jee but no one remembers who the king was during the time of Bhagat jee. This proves that bhagats are remembered positively for ages in this world and the next world while the kings are often not remembered positively and mostly they are lost in the pages of history. For this reason, O mere manaa (mind, dil), Naam japp lai. waheguroo wahegurooooooooooooooo wahegurooooooooooooooo waheguroooooooooooo

  13. Shaheed Bhai Kulvant Singh aka. Bhai Menghaa Singh Babbar translated by Admin www.tapoban.org "True Lord, may my body be a sacrifice unto your feet,. Guru, father, may I not show my back in the field of battle, and may I be martyred battling the enemies of the faith. Guru, Father, have mercy on me, may the enemy's bullets not hit my back, may I take them upon my chest. Satguru, do not think of my faults, please let me embrace your feet." This was Bhai Saahib's daily prayer before the Guru. When the time comes for a Sikh to give his head for the Guru, he is overcome with eagerness. He considers it his great fortune to give his head for the Sikh faith. When it comes time to sacrifice for the faith, the Sikh doesn't seek any examples, or justifications, or bribes. No force or fear can turn him away from his goal. Living his life according the Guru's bestowed faith, he fights the enemy and gives his head for the pure faith and truth and is then called a Martyr. Such a warrior always wants that his head should be sacrificed for the cause of the Guru. On June 1st 1984, the thankless Hindu government directed its evil eye towards the Sikh places of worship and Sackhkhand Sree Darbar Saahib Amritsar. During this attack, Bh Kulvant Singh Babbar aka. Bh. Mehngaa Singh of the organisation Babbar Khalsa had the honour of being the first martyr to die fighting those who would defile the sanctity of Sree Darbaar Saahib. Just as Bh. Kulvant Singh aka. Bh. Menghaa Singh had the honour of being the first martyr in the Darbar Saahib attack, simila rly, Bh. Kulvant Singh Babbar/Nagokay had the honour of being the first martyr of the Dharam Yudh Morcha. On June 9th, 1982, Bh. Nagokay had every one of his limbs broken and after enduring countless tortures, achieved martyrdom and by doing so, gave the shattered Panth unity to fight together. During this time Bh. Amarjeet Singh DaheRoo gave his martyrdom and increased the Panth's fervour to battle. Bh. Kulvant Singh Babbar aka. Bh. Menghaa Singh was born in Yumnanagar Jagadhri in 1957 in the house of Sd. Partap Singh located in Vishkarma Nagar. He completed his early education in Yamunanagar. After passing the ninth grade, he entered the ITI and took a yearlong course in welding and then began to work. When, during the Vaisakhi of 1978, unarmed Singhs went to protest the insult of Guru Saahib being done by the Fake Nirankaris, the unarmed Singhs were fired upon and 13 were martyred while countless others were injured. The spilt blood of the martyrs had a deep effect on Bh. Kulvant Singh and as a result, he began attending Keertan Smaagams and would long for the blessing of amrit day and night. By the grace of the Guru during the 1979 AKJ Holla Mohalla Smaagam at Anandpur Saahib, he presented himself before the punj pyaaray and was blessed with amrit. Bh. Saahib would read books on Sikh history and would try to mould his life to match those of old Singhs. He would always be consulting with other Singhs on the issue of punishing those who had killed Singhs. When the fake Nirankaris had a meeting in Jagadhri, Bh. Saahib and his companions attacked with fervour and caused the Nirankaris to run away in chaos. The Police lodged a murder case on these Singhs and Bh. Saahib's companions fought this case. Bh. Saahib on the other hand refused to fight the case because in his words, "we don't believe in this false government,, so why should we go to courts of a government we have no faith in?" Bh. Saahib was acquitted along with the Singhs who chose to attend court proceedings. With a desire to serve the Panth and punish the persecutors of the Singhs, Bh. Kulvant Singh left his home and came to Bibi Amarjeet Kaur, wife of Shaheed Bh. Fauja Singh, in Amritsar. In Amrtisar there was a group called the Chaldaa Vaheer, which Bh. Saahib joined and served whole-heartedly. Bh. Saahib wore tattered clothes but refused to accept the Singhs's dasvandh for his own personal use. With the Chaldaa Vaheer Bh. Saahib would do the seva of cleaning Darbaar Saahib early in the morning, the washing of Akaal Takhat Saahib, kneading of flour in Sree Ramdaas Langar, preparing parshadas and also seva in distributing the langar. Considering Bh. Fauja Singh's wife and mother to be the family of a Shaheed, Bh. Kulvant Singh served them with dedication and love. Bh. Fauja Singh's mother gave Bh. Kulvant Singh the love a mother gives to a son. In September 1979, the Singhs held a camp in Bh. Fauja Singh's Khalsa Farm in which the Singhs, in addition to learning Gurmat, also learned weaponry. Bhai Saahib took part in this camp with a desire to learn the use of weapons. During this camp, Bh. Saahib met Bh. Sukhdev Singh, Bh. Kulvant Singh Nagokay, Bh. Sulakhan Singh, Bh. Balvinder Singh, Bh. Vadhava Singh, Bh. Anokh Singh, Bh. Manmohan Singh and many other Singhs. The Singhs who taught the use of weapons loved Bh. Saahib. After subsequent camps in Sabhravan and Goindvaal, Bh. Saahib became very well acquainted with all the Singhs's views and the love between them increased. They began to stay together in the form of a jathebandee. All the Singhs had the goal of finding and punishing the killers of Singhs and those who would insult Guru Saahib. The first action the Singhs conducted was against an individual who had insulted the saroop of SGGS. And with this, by the grace of the Guru, the work of punishing the enemies of the Panth carried on in secret for the next two years. The Government had no idea who conducted these actions but the people declared that the serviced was being rendered by the Guru's Shaheedee Fauj who were supporting the Gursikhs. During this time Bh. Kulvant Singh took part in every action, considering it to be service to the Panth. Day and night Bh. Saahib worked to cut the chains of slavery from the neck of the Sikhs. In 1982, village leader Surjan Singh Nagokay turned in Bh. Kulvant Singh Babbar Nagokay and also gave a full report of the rest of the Singhs. The government tortured Bh. Kulvant Singh Nagokay to death and then made a false encounter and also put rewards on the heads of all the other Singhs. Bh. Kulvant Singh aka. Bh. Mehngaa Singh also had a reward placed on his head. The government began to hunt the Singhs and as a result, the Singhs went underground. Only a few days had passed in hiding when this beloved of the Guru, Bh. Kuvant Singh, left to bathe in Sree Ramdas Sarovar and have darshan of Guru Saahib. He exclaimed "if the olden Singhs could cut through the cordon of their enemies, to have ishnaan and darshan at Darbaar Saahib, so can I." Even during this time in Hiding Bh. Saahib would rise at amrit vela, bathe in the sarovar and then attend Aasaa Dee Vaar keertan at Darbaar Saahib. After this, he would attend to the seva of the Singhs's langar and also the Jora Ghar in addition to arranging weapons for the Jathebandee. On June 1st 1984 at around 12pm, the CRPF and the BSF, in a government-sponsored scheme to eliminate the Sikhs, opened a rain of fire upon the Singhs at Sree Darbaar Saahib, Darshanee Deeorhee, Langar Building and Sree Akaal Takhat Saahib. Bh. Saahib was at Baba Atal Saahib and took up a position there, killing three attacking soldiers. This warrior's confidence increased and he went up to the top most floor of Baba Atal. A sniper fired at Bh. Saahib and the bullet hit him in the forehead. Bh. Saahib fell to the ground, but when a nearby Singh asked "Menghaa Singh!!! How are you??" he replied "Chardee Kalaa!!!". The Singhs were informed that Bh. Saahib had been hit and Bh. Manmohan Singh and others were sent to retrieve him. The Singhs with great effort in the rain of bullets brought Bh. Kulvant Singh down from the top most floor of Baba Atal and carried him to Guru Nanak Nivaas. There were no medical facilities or doctors, but the Singhs cleaned the wound and dressed it. Around this warrior Gurbanee began to be recited and only after the completion of Sukhmani Saahib did he go and take his place at the feet of the Guru. On one hand, the Singhs were fighting the enemy and on the other, some Singhs were taking care of the Shaheed's body. Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar asked the Gurbanee continue to be recited. On the evening of June 1st, the firing ended and a message was sent to the fallen warrior's mother and father. On the afternoon of June 2nd, the mother and father arrived from Yamunanagar at Nanak Nivaas, despite the curfew. Mata jee saw her son and said "Son, you've fulfilled your promise. When you left home to serve the Panth you asked the Guru for what you have achieved today. By fulfilling your words, and giving your life to the Panth, you have honoured my womb". All the Jathebandees in the complex, upon hearing the news of the Shaheedee did a final ardaas for Bh. Kulvant Singh, and upon seeing the Shaheed for the final time, heaped praise upon his bravery. Whoever meditates upon the Guru with a pure heart, for certain, gets the reward. May we be a sacrifice unto this first Shaheed, this blessed soul. This was the first shaheed who's body was cremated in the Darbar Saahib complex, despite the protestations of the SGPC president. Bh. Saahib was cremated close to Sree Manjee Saahib. Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar and other Singhs lovingly bathed Bh. Saahib's body and dressed him in the five kakaars, a chola and dumalaa. After the final ardaas, he was brought near Sree Manjee Saahib and all the sangat in the complex accompanied this procession. Bh. Sujan Singh put a sheet over the body on behalf of Baba Jarnail Singh Bhindranvalay. Other Jathebandees also put sheets on the body out of respect and covered it with garlands of flowers. At the time of cremation, there was a large gathering of the Sangat and every Gursikh felt the pain of Bh. Saahib's departure. Bh. Saahib's father lit the funeral pyre and seeing the rising flames, every Gursikh felt the desire to run to battle and die fighting for the faith.
  14. Contd... Is the Journey into Siri Harmandar Sahib symbolic of our Journey in our jeevans? Pyare jio, I think so. When one travels around Amritsar, you feel the smog, car horns, dust, etc. It is complete chaos, even right up to the complex. Similarly in life, everyone is caught up in the rat race, always in a hurry, busy in all of their chores and duties. Then one enters the complex and sees Siri Harmandar sahib through the entrance. The first thing that hits you is the complete sense of peace. Eventhough you have only walked in a few steps in the entrance and come upon the stairs, the peace is amazing, and in complete contrast to the hustle bustle outdoor. Similarly when in life we actually listen to keertan for the first time. I mean really listen and fall in a trance of complete calmness. Then one gently walks down the stairs to the Parkarmia. To enter the realm of the Darbar sahib, we walk down. Similarly in life, humility is first and essential for spirituality. It is only when we are humble, do you we respect. It is only when we respect, do we listen. It is only when we listen, do we learn. It is only when we learn, do we appreciate, experience and enjoy. Then one does ishnaan in the sarovar. The day is hot, but the water is cool, and fresh, and glistens in the light. Similarly when we take amrit, our minds are are caught in the heat of the 5 Vikaars, but when bathed in sweet amrit, the mind cools into calmness, and one wanders in awe at this new found glistening treasure within. The Gurbani enters the ears. So melodious and beautiful. One follows its and yearns to go into the darbar as he wanders around the parkarmia. Similarly in li fe, as one enters the deep realms of abyass and spirituality. One is blessed with "Anhad Shabad", the mind can hear the bani, but one still cannot see further. This encourages one further as he still yearns for darshan. Then one enters the Darshan Doeri, and proceeds in eagerness over the sarovar to the darbar. Is this not symbolic? It eluded me for so long. Guru Ji takes and blesses them from the continuous cycle of worldlism, and places him at his door. For now the one is worthy, and is walking the pathway, the 84 paces. He has crossed the ocean of worldism (walkway), left the cycle of life and death(pakarmia), and is now progressed towards the final destination Sachkhand Siri Harmandar Sahib. As one enters, one looks around in awe of its magnificence. Is this not paradise on earth, perfection personified. As one enters the door, in front is my Sahib, Sahib Siri Guru Granth Ji, for this a place truely worthy of my Sahib Ji`s presence. Glowing surrounded by magnificence and complete opulence, but still the attention is attracted by the most magnificent of all Sahib Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji. All who enter realise this and bow before, in surrender. At the side of my Sahib, are all those blessed Gursikhs who are rewarded with this sangat and seva, and are selected according to his will. The akhand bani resonates everywhere, its simplicity is its beauty. Similarly in life for those who have entered this door, and been blessed and rewarded with that Glory. Describing the indescribable, it cannot be said, because never can words do justice. This is just my impression, But was not my sahib who created this magnificent place, the most magnificent of all. Great is Sahib Siri Guru Arjan dev Ji. waheguru ji ke khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  15. waheguru ji ke khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, I was listening to katha by Veer Gurdeep Singh on Punjab radio. He was discussing Sahib Siri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, and the construction of Siri Harmandar Sahib. This led to a very interesting discussion in our household about the construction and sublime architecture of Siri Harmander sahib. Most of this is my own reflections, so if incorrect, then it should only reflect on Dass, and not Punjab radio. Some Architectural points: 1. Many years ago, I watched a Channel 4 documentary on the tidal systems, and how it works. The scientists then visited Siri Harmander Sahib and taran taran discussing how such vast amounts of water are stationary and not affected by the world rotation. They said if we applied the physics behind the tidal system, the water in harmandar sahib and taran taran should in fact spill out, and not remain stationary. So they were extremely fascinated why this does not occur. After doing numerous lab experiments, they realised the water only stays stationary, if the pool has it length to particular mathematic proportion to the width and depth. They worked out this exact proportion. Then they measured Siri Harmandar sahib and found its measurements fitted these exact proportions. Great is sahib Siri Arjan Dev Ji who knew this all along and built accordingly hundreds of years ago.
  16. This is an email that was sent to a young lady who’s friend was contemplating breaking her Amrit by cutting her hair, and drinking alcohol. She was not sure as to whether or not to help her, or still be friends with her. The message below was sent by a Singh: I do not think your friend completely understood what taking Amrit is about... When taking Amrit you are giving yourself to your Guru. People say it is about giving your head, actually, it's a lot more than that. When you take Amrit you are not only giving your body, you are also giving your mind and soul (aathma) to Guru. When you receive Amrit you say to Guru that "I am yours, I no longer belong to 'me'. When Guru Gobind Singh Ji asked Bhai Daya Singh to give Him Amrit, this is the conversation that took place: Guruji - "As I have given you Amrit, please also bless me with it." Daya S - "We 5 gave our heads, what will you give?" Guruji - "As you did, I also will give my head." Daya S - "We as Sikhs gave our heads, You as Guru should give something more, something extra." Guruji - "You cannot put a value on the Amrit that I have given you, but when the time comes I will place my head, and all the heads of my family members, at the feet of the Khalsa. Please bless me with Amrit." “Moh gre meh, dhan teh man, sir lotan hee sub in hee ko” Can you see, even Guru Maharaj gave everything to the Khalsa. Guru Gobind Singh Ji used t o tell Bhai Gurdas ji that He wanted to grind His own body up into dust, and throw it at the feet of the Khalsa. When you have taken Amrit you belong to a group of people that are higher than any Sant on the ladder of spirituality, only Guru and Vaheguru are higher. When the Brahmins came to ask Maharaj about the new Khalsa, Guruji encouraged them to take Amrit. The Brahmins replied that they would not drink out of the same bowl as the low castes. At this point Guruji erupted. He told them not to say another word. “In this life you are calling them low, in the next, you will be cleaning the feeding houses of their animals.” It is difficult being in the roop of a Khalsa, you will feel out of place, at times you will feel low. What you have to remember is that the main purpose of this life is to join your aathma, with Parm Aathma, i.e. meeting Vaheguru, nothing else matters. Who are we to judge? No one person should judge any other. Guru Maharaj does not say that you HAVE to do Simran, He says that you SHOULD do it. If your friend has decided to break his/her rehat, then so be it. The question she has to ask herself is where will she go now? If she heads towards her friends, they will only accept her as long as she fits into a their way of thinking and behaving. If she goes to her family, they want her to fit into their norms, and accept their values. The world will call you an outcaste depending on whether you ‘fit’ into it. The only person that I have found that hasn’t done this is Guru Maharaj. Maharaj sat with cannibals, witches, prostitutes, emperors, tyrants etc etc. All He wanted from them was pyaar. The only thing that you will leave with is pyaar (Simran). Don’t judge your friend, don’t talk down to her, just love her. Explain to her that Maharaj understands, He will not turn His back on her, He is Love itself. I would definitely he lp that person. Recently a friend of mine committed all the budgit krehats. He lived the wild life for a little while, but he realised that there is nothing else out there, apart from Maharaj. I let him stay in my house for a couple of months, until he sorted himself out. He retook Amrit and became a Singh again. After about 6 months he messed everything up again. Most people I know would have killed him, or never talked to him again, but I still have pyaar for him. It is in Gurus hands as to who takes, or breaks, Amrit, all we can do is ardaas. When we see Maharaj we should tell Him to help us. When I took Amrit, I told Maharaj that He had to guide me. I knew I would mess up at some point, but it was His responsibility to help me. He is Guru, He guides. Let me know if there is anything else you want to chat about. Akaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fateh Ji
