  1. Mate, i wrote the exact same thing about biharis bein bunch of h@r@mis n a burden on panjab, yet i was told i was a racist/discriminatory individual. Id imagine u will b told the same by the pappus on this forum. Crimerate gone thru the roof since 2000 onwards, no coincidence, its in the same time period theyve come in.
  2. Even look at this! seriously, these h@r@mz@dey r not exactly shining here r they? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5niC_abhdU
  3. Will someone plz tell us wat these 2 rituals are? I been on the bhatra sites, they talk of it, but none talk of wat it actually is.
  4. Those of u mugs, who r in denial of wat is happning to our panjab, regarding drugs n other problems which have been placed there at the feet of sikhs and panjabis, heres a video, explaining all!
  5. I jus gotta say 1 thing straight up, jalandhar, ludhiana and amritsar r without question the dirtiest places in panjab! Amritsar being the pavitar shaher (holy city), must b dealt with, its beyond belief how dirty amritsar has become in past decade! Ludhiana is jus pollution central, as is jalandhar, where they STILL havnt removed those burnt trains from the fightin that happened afta that ravidasi baba was murdered in vienna! Kapurthala, hoshiarpur and tarn taran r nice tho, hoshiarpur especially! I agree with jagsaw tho, the pinds have such nice clean havaa (air) man, my pind (sandhwan-pharalla), in nawanshaher is just lovely, lush harriyan fields, tall nri funded mansions, sensational gurdwara and lovely sabji's too!
  6. Going round in circles?.......Me? lost for words mate, i truely am. Also me butting into other ppls conversations?.....how is that even possible on an open forum? I dont remember u addressing any particular posters on here for answers to ur bhatra obsessed threads. Ha those meshi/maula jatt movies my heroes? Hardly. I posted those 2 movie posters to prove a point to u regardin wat u sed on pak panjabis n their caste/tribe mentality, its called a rebuttal, something which u havnt provided 2 me yet. U think its immoral to show those 2 movie posters, but u r happy 2 post bhatras drinkin n dancin....for "cultural awareness". Oh and blood splattering images disturb u i take it? Does that mean wen u go gurdwara n c pics of our shaheeds bein sawn in half n tortured, u avert ur eyes like a coward? Yawn mate.
  7. Oh dear o dear, geezer, wat u spittin ur dummy out for? Right firstly, im not the 1 who started talking about panjabi muslims in the 1st place, that was u! Secondly it was u, who then referred to their ancestry etc. thirdly im NOT a jatt, so i have no bias towards them or have anything against them! Then u say pics of blood drippin axe of a mona is nutin 2 b proud of on a sikh forum, well should i put a video full of bhatra "sikhs" at wedding drinking more appropriate then? Or how about a bhangra singer who's also mona singin about a girl, like u did in ur bhatra thread 2 weeks back? Pure double standards. You seem to think im some obsessed jatt, well as ive mentioned that im not even a jatt,so thats out of the question, but who r u to say to any1 on this forum that theyre proud of their "caste", when ur the 1, who only contributes to threads where the subject is about bhatras? Mate get real, ur the 1 who thinks bhatras r some special kind of human stock, when u say outrageous things like "Bhatra Punjabi is more clear direct and better prounicated then Muslim Punjabi". AS I've mentioned in of 1 of ur 1 thousand bhatra threads before, ive got bhatra mates, and ur not doing them any favours with ur mindset on this forum. Infact below is a video of my mates wedding reception, with his younger brothers' bhangra group performing. Great dance on show.
  8. Haa, u joker. There muchha (moustache) r legendary man, u can tell a lot of saron da tehl went to preserving them!
  9. Mate i think ur living in a coo-ckoo land, if u think Pakistanis dont place any importance on caste/tribes! Here in luton, there used to be 2 pak gangs in 90s, the reds and the yellows! Despite being of the same religion, and coming from the same country, have a guess y they used 2 fight each other? The reds were the "higher" rajahs (rajputs) and the yellows (jatts/gujjars) were the "lower" caste, and they fought over drugs and had fights at skools etc. I have heard umpteen times how pak girls here have run away from home, not bcoz theyve fallen in love with a kaffir, but shes fell for a rajah or a gujjar etc. Google stories of how in pakistan, particularly a case this year, in sahiwal, where a women was killed for marrying out of caste. Jatts dont pay attention to their caste in pakland? y were these classic movies made then? Regarding the whole ancestory thing u wrote, we have been talking about PANJABI muslim ancestory, not rest of pakistans ancestory. Pathans r from afghanistan, Balochis r same as eastern iranians. Also remember panjab wasnt the mughals base, it was the route into hindustan, their base was always UP (Uttar Pradesh) and Delhi. Oh and mughals were from turkmenistan areas, not from arabia. Btw nice copy and paste from yahoo answers.
  10. Like i sed previously, if panjabi muslims r of arab descent (which they r not), then wat r rest of the other panjabis then? Many sikhs converted from islam in panjab aswel too. The tribes of muslim panjabis r there in sikh panjabis too, they jus call them by diffrnt names (gujjar/jatt/rajah/butts/arain) = (gujjar/jatt/rajput/brahmin/saini) etc. probably 1% of paks r from arab ancestry (syeds), n thats it. Regarding using persian words, u do realise that sikhi/panjabi itself has many many persian words in it. Nihang, shamsher, dastaar, pur (town), garh (fort/house), gul (flower), aab (water), panj (5), noh (9), sharam, hafta (7 days) etc. I think u have bought into the propaganda that paks r decendants of arabs bit too much pal.
  11. Thats a shame to hear mate, tbh, we r rural waleh, so i have no idea bowt city waleh. Altho i will say this, jalandhar is hindi central, which is sad.
  12. Tbh khalsa ji, im quite disappointed that sikhs who left w.panjab, n spoke with different vocab/accents, didnt maintain them and speak it proudly n even spread it into wherever they were re-located after partition (panjab/haryana/UP/delhi). Bcoz most khatris for example lived in rawalpindi areas, and moved to delhi, but yet u speak to them, and their panjabi accent has been swallowed up n they have become to absorbed into our accents, which is a huge shame.
  13. So much wrong with that u have written. 1st of all panjabi muslims r not of arab origin, if they r, then wat r we? We have same surnames, blood/dna n features as they do. Also id say that them not havin a full grasp of panjabi is bit unfair, since a lot of poetry/stories written in panjabi folklore r by panjabi muslims. And they only started losing their love for panjabi during the 1920's onwards, as the muslim league were tryin 2 put panjabi muslims on a seperate path to sikh n hindu panjabis, which would lead to clear segregation n eventually a seperate homeland, which turned out to be a great tactic by them. If anything, hindus gave up panjabi earlier than muslims of panjab. The village type muslims carried on speakin panjabi tho, as they, like sikhs, were more village orientated, compared to hindus, who have always been more urbanfied. Then after partition, the pak panjabis completely abondoned panjabi, shamelessly. A pak commentator (tareq fata)summed it up well, wen he says, that ppl in power have made w.panjab into urdustan, and will only speak panjabi, wen they shout at their house cleaner, or wen theyve drank some fine wine.
  14. Thats wat ive always wanted to kno tbh, as to how east african sikhs (mostly ramgharias) speak doaba panjabi n how they maintained. Coz most of the east african asians r gujarati hindus, n their gujarati language and food, frm wat i understand got influenced by the kenyan/tanzanian/ugandan surroundings. Yet the sikhs frm east africa retained everything from panjab, apart from their turbans of course.
  15. Geezer read my 1st post. Also jazzy b is frm nawanshaher (doaba), same as me, so i can identify with his dialect. Like i mentioned most sikhs in uk and vancouver r from doaba, which is the "aggresive" accent u r on about. Also as i mentioned in 1 of ur bhatras threads before, that my bhatra mates r all frm sialkot pre partition.
  16. Sad hearing that. Btw is there any word from the dhesi's on whether vigilantism will start up again? Bcoz i dont care wat any1 says, it must start up again, esp since police have not changed their spineless ways
  17. Indeed yea, it could be differences of dialect, as u well know, united panjab, is absolutely MASSIVE. Also it has a lot to do with posh panjabi and tutti futti/slang panjabi. In the olden days, if u were not able to speak majhi panjabi (amritsar/lahore/montgomery), then u would not b allowed to do radio n id imagine journalism too. Its like in posh panjabi its menu langan dey (let me go), yet in slang panjabi, we say menu nangan dey, exact same thing in regards to ur thing bowt loon/noon (salt). Also the most obvious example of posh n slang difference is, assan/tussan and assi/tussi. I think its great we have this massive collection of words. Satinder sartaj i remember sed, there should b a panjabi dictionary made, where words r collected from all areas of panjab, rawalpindi to multan, to lahore/amritsar to jalandar to patiala etc. That would be a great read i must say. I dont kno if u watch panjabi movies, but they seem to only use malwa panjabi in them, which i think is good, coz it sounds better to the most famous panjabi dialect, doabi.
  18. Well most bhatras come from sialkot/gujrawala (w.panjab), hence they talk in that particular dialect. most sikhs in uk, r from doaba, as r sikhs frm vancouver/surrey (BC, Canada). The sikhs in and around toronto/GTA/missisauga/brampton/rexdale etc r from malwa, n hence speak their own dialect.
  19. If wat u say is definite, about gurcharn (bush), then thats a huge let down man, massive!
  20. U do realise that the founding members of shere panjab announced that they were no longer running the organisation, and the SP name was hijacked by drug dealers/sikh/panjabi gangsters afterwards? This is common knowledge, that the newer ppl usin that name were livin off the fame of the old boys like, bush, bomb n tari etc. Though i believe now, as u mentioned, dal singh dhesi is back running it again, to try and regain credibility and doin alot for sikh community via parchar etc. Whether they start the vigilantism, i dont kno, but i hope they do though. Btw bush's name is gurcharan singh hayer, n hes an absolute legend! If hes a drinker, well thats his business n shortcoming, but thats wat he was wen he joined SP in the 1st place in the 80s. I think ur bein bit harsh, he may not be a gursikh, but hes a lionheart, who put his body on the line for the panth.
  21. But sayin that madam, sukhwinder singh is in the soundtrack, n he sings all sorts of dirty crappy songs for bollywood. Also i believe amrinder gill (my fave panjabi singer), is in the soundtrack, though he doesnt sing sharabi songs, but he does sing songs bowt girls, which id imagine u wudnt approve of. So.......
  22. Its a shame diljits 'gobind de lal' wasnt in this movie, that would of been very apt, considering the theme of the movie. Saying that, off the top of my head, sukshinder shindas 'tasveer' and harbhajan maans 'kalgidhar de ladle' r also great songs about the sahibzadey.
  23. Tell ur parents that they shud b gratefull u have brought a sikh girl home, n not a hindu/muslim/chinee etc, who wud do besti to their name within the community, surely?
  24. Indeed, i never said it was easy. Well id imagine the panj would in the olden days, be the most knowledgeable spiritually, has leadership qualities and bravest aswel. Nawab kapur singh, for example was just an ordinary sevadar at the gurdwara, do the seva of chaur sahib of sggs, frm there, he went on to become the leader of the panth. Akali phoola singh, aswel, came from humble background, n became jathedar of the akal takht, and a huge personality in ranjit singhs empire. He openly spoke out against the actual maharajas wrong doings, n ordered shittar to be given to the ruler of the empire. Does the current akal takht jathedar have that level guts n love for sikhi to punish badals for their wrongdoings? Nope he awards him with panth rattan award! So as i mentioned before, id imagine those chosen in the panj pyare/leadership roles, r those who r incorruptable, r capable in all duties (amrit sanchars, nitnem etc). Which jatha wud they b from? Well could choose 5 singhs frm 5 jathas maybe? This is wat happned wen the rehit maryada was written durin british rule. All jathas had to agree to disagree on various things, but they all did it for the sake of the panth. ?
  25. Exactly, the british then placed democracy into the sikh panth/panjab, which is against the sikh political sphere! Ive seen/heard Many sikhs saying how our dharam is pro-democracy, wen in actual fact, its totally an alien concept to sikhi. Sikhs, r only run by panj piyare, THATS IT! Is panjab now not a "democracy", in the sense, that ppl have elected again n again n again the stupid badal family? If panjabs leaders were chosen on panj piyare method, then only panthic minded personel wud b at the helm. Look at the damdami taksal, of the bhindrawales. Sant jarnail singh, was chosen after much deliberation of id imagine, the panj piyare n of course recomendation of previous jathedars, kartar n gurbhachan singh bhindrawales. Even look at the uk, this country is a genuine democracy, and its a total dump of a nation, pray to the lord, the khalsa law takes over this shameless land in the future. Atleast we wudnt have stupid grooming gangs pimpin n abusing little girls, n bein allowed 2 get away with it, coz of political correctness. Under panj piyare system, heads will b lined up of paedos n cut off with a jakara. I mean even look at the police in uk, they dont even have bloody SHASTAR!?! How can u deliver/regulate justice, wen u r not even armed? Outrageous prententiousness!
