  2. Cheers paa, thanks for sayin it, how it is. I also jus saw her latest pics, all tarted up in the pic posing, pathetic! And to top it off, she still has a karra on, this afta, she had pre-jail sentence, started eating dirty halal only n wearing hijab. Wat makes me laugh is how she only stopped drinkin alcohol once he told her too coz of islam, yet her own sikh identity didnt ever stop her n make her fink.
  3. ---Kulvinder's father, Gurdev Singh, told the inquest: "We are not very religious. It is recommended that we stay in our own religion, but not really compulsory.--- That just about sums up stupid hippy apnay in this land. Dont wana sound horrible, but i aint losing any sleep ....
  4. Well here is an instance where a bhangra singer hasnt used his actual birthname n singh in his stage name, thank god, however, in the article, his actual name is written, and singh is his last name, the saalaah behsharam. BTW its bhangra singer SAN2 Bhangra music star taxi driver is jailed for sex attack A TAXI driver who was also a chart-topping Indian musician has become the second cabbie this month to be jailed for a sex attack on a passenger. Dhanraj Singh, of Greythorn Drive, West Bridgford, was taking a young woman home when he kissed and touched her. The 24-year-old was told he breached his passenger's trust because she was in his care and had been drinking. Nottingham Crown Court heard that Singh was a bhangra singer and was due to fly to Bombay to film a music video after topping the Asian music charts. But instead, the father-of-two was sent to prison for nine months yesterday after being found guilty earlier this month of sexual assault. Judge Gregory Dickinson said: "You are a talented, award-winning musician. You have put all of that in jeopardy. "You were responsible for her safety and well-being. "You took advantage of a lone female passenger who had been drinking." The judge said the effect on the victim had been "very serious". The court was told that the woman had made a statement saying she was "still raw" and was having ongoing counselling. She had lost weight as a result of the attack on April 1, which had also affected her studies and left her feeling "vulnerable". For Singh, Mark Achurch told the court: "He is a family man with two children who had been working anti-social hours to support his family. "It was a short-lived incident. He lost his taxi driver's licence immediately and has been out of work and on benefits since." The case comes less than two weeks after another Nottingham taxi driver was jailed for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in the back of his cab. Jamil Ahmed, chairman of Nottingham Licensed Taxi Owners' and Drivers' Association, said steps were being taken to keep passengers safe. He said: "All the hackney cabs that are operating in Nottingham have been licensed by the city council. "They have been through official checks so that there are no allegations of dishonesty, sexual or any type of offence. "From the association's point of view, if you spot any person you're uncomfortable with, you can pass that information on to the association, who can then pass it on to the council. "In all hackney cabs, the person is totally separate in their own environment. "It's a lot safer in their own hackney cab as opposed to a saloon car. That's what we would suggest – to catch a hackney." The city council said that Singh was not licensed by the authority. Pete Mitchell, the authority's head of licensing, permits and regulation, said: "In terms of enforcement, we have staff out in the city centre checking taxis most nights of the week. In addition to this, we run multi-agency operations with the police." http://www.nottinghampost.com/Music-star-cabbie-jailed-sex-attack/story-23652101-detail/story.html
  5. i remember a christian/jehova knocked on my door, tryna convince me of how great their religion/prophet was, i let them babble on for about 5mins non-stop, till i stated 1 thing..."my guru sat on a hot plate(guru arjan) and accepted martyrdom, my other guru gave his head (tegh bahadur) for another community in peaceful manner meditating, where as ur prophet cried his eyes out on the cross...", she immediately stopped, kissed her teeth and walked off, LOOOL.... and then i said
  6. Chandigarh is a complete joke of a city, a poor man's milton keynes...a city with no history and pure fakery. To think that Chandigarh was built to give panjab a "new capital", since we lost the glorious, historic n sohna Lahore, is just a joke of a replacement. Y didnt they jus make Lahore's sisters city, Amritsar the capital, or even the biggest cities, Jalandhar or Ludhiana or heck even the most powerful Princely state, of Patiala? It wudda made more sense. Instead a gora was allowed to design a rubbish city, where even a sector13 wasnt made, coz 13 is an unlucky number for christians, yet Guru Nanak cudnt stop saying 13 (tera)!
  7. patka is/was a panjabi muslim ladies headwear, this sikh patka wearing thing came from copying them. You will notice if u look at all our parents photographs, taken of them, upon arrival from panjab, in black/white or coloured pics in 70s, to the UK, all the boys wore paghs, not even a patka in sight, or even a guti/rumal i would say.
  8. Stop clutchin at straws u mug, u accused these ppl of taking money n lining their own pockets, ive jus given u an article written by them, where they state they r a registered charity, making no profit n done voluntarily, n u still aint satisfied? not my problem. The videos released by dharamseva, also have english subtitles, so it can appeal more to the ppl who dont quite have best of grip of panjabi language, and towards non-sikhs. anotha dharmic -related music label/project that has been on-going for atleast a decade is the shaheedi.com (immortal productions) guys, who've released 10albums to date, with many contributors from panjabi music artists. The following is written on shaheedi.com. "Non-profit / SevaAll projects by Immortal Productions are non-profit and run on a strictly Seva (selfless service) only basis." http://shaheedi.com/ here is a video, on sukhi barts vaisakhi special on britasia, where guests were, sukshinder shinda, kaka (dharamseva records) and shamsher singh (immortal prod), watch the interviews urself, of y they r doing this. If u aint happy with their efforts/reasons, set up ur own label then, te dikha sanu! watch at (38mins), where shamsher mentions its non profit/seva. heres another video, where kaka says at (5mins) how his label is non-profit/receipts etc
  9. This is from the dharmic record label i mentioned previously, they r called "dharamseva records", here is wat they write on their site."DharamSeva Records Preserve the Past Inspire the Future 2013 proved to be a revolutionary year for conscious music! A long overdue dharamic (righteous living) music label finally launched in the form of Dharam Seva Records. Dharam Seva is spear-headed by Sundip Singh (Kaka Mohanwalia) and Gurmit Singh (Billa Mato), who previously plied their trade in Bhangra music industry, but destiny had other plans. Recent years saw the pull of spirituality and dharam take a strong hold in their lives, and in 2012, both were blessed with the supreme gift of Khande de Phahul. The Singhs understood that by accepting this life-giving spiritual nectar, they were adhering to an active call of duty. As a result they decided to utilise their combined knowledge and experience for the propagation of a higher cause. The project, has also touched the heart of global Bhangra stars and in its first year established as a UK Registered Charity making no profits and all work being done is Volantary. Sundip Singh (Kaka Mohanwalia) last year released Singh Mareya Ni Mukhney on the album Jakara after becoming disheartened by the low number of quality dharamic music projects in existence. He became concerned that extraordinary dharamic music releases did not receive the promotion, recognition and level of attention, from the Punjabi music loving audiences that they deserved. With this in mind the concept of DharamSeva Records was born. The sevadaars used their connections and skills to set up a fully integrated framework, which now consists of Singers, Song Writers, Music Producers, Video Producers, Social Media, a PR Team and most importantly, a Not for Profit Record Label, which ensures that all profits will be reinvested into creating bigger and better dharamic projects. So far many distinguished artists have committed to the cause including Diljit Dosanjh, Jazzy B, Harbhajan Mann, Sukshinder Shinda, Charanjit Ahuja, Durga Rangila, Satwinder Bugga, Jaz Dhami, KS Makhan, Tru-Skool, Kulwinder Johal, Kaos Productions, Gupsy Aujla, Raju Dinehwala, Benny Dhaliwal, Geeta Zaildar, Mangi Mahal, Bups Sagoo, DJ Dips, Jassy Jallanderi, Raman Aujla, Bikram Singh, Amit Rai, Inside Man, Meshi Eshara, Manak-E, Madan Maddi, Manjit Pappu, Sangra Vibes and legendary percussionist Juggy Rehal. As well as these household names, the label will be bringing back Mandeep Singh (The Specialist) and Baljinder Singh (Bally Rai) who have also received the blessings of Khande de Phahul since leaving the bhangra music industry. The signing of mantra singer Shabad Deep Kaur from Belgium, Angrez Ali, Jagowala Jatha (Sikh Kavishri Singers) and Rashee Ragga, are all examples of the diversity the label. The underlying objectives are to help unite people of all faiths, race and nationalities; and by sharing odes to the Timeless one, courageous examples of history and selfless service to humanity, send out a much needed, inspirational message to listeners. DharamSevas music projects only form half of the story. The label will also be making passionate efforts to help preserve the divine art of Gurmat Sangeet and the divine language of the Guru Granth Sahib, GurMukhi Boli, which were both once an integral part of the Sikh way of life. The devotional singing of GurBani in the prescribed raag, is an unbroken tradition started by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, founder of the Sikh faith. Bhai Mardana, Guru Nanak Dev Jis beloved Muslim disciple, musician par excellence and an accomplished player of the Rabaab, was instrumental in delivering Guru Nanak Dev Jis message using the universal language of music as the medium. DharamSeva Records is on a mission to preserve some of the oldest compositions using the instruments which were created by the Gurus themselves such as the Taus, Dilruba, Saranda and Rabaab. Stay tuned for future releases." http://www.dharamsevarecords.com/?page_id=23
  10. I agree with u my ol' mucker. However regarding the tribes of the scumpuris in england,i have found them mostly 2 b of rajah (rajput) clans and gujjar clans, hardly any r jatts. Most panjabi muslims in england tho r jatts, but sadly theres hardly any of them in england, as i wud think the relations in uk between r community n theirs wud b much better.
  11. How do you know they make money from dharmic albums/songs? Ive heard previously from jazzy b and sukshinder shinda, who r a duo from day 1, that they do not take money from dharmic albums, also a dharmic record label, called dharmic records, does not make money from releasing religious songs.
  12. He isnt the only sikh/panjabi singer to have sung songs for his career, and then sung dharmic songs on the side, which is seen as seva for the panth. He's my fave panjabi singer since the 90s, and fair enough he has done few songs, which i wasn't sure what he was thinking of at the time, but not many panjabi singers from the west have kept it so raw n desi like jazzy. Bhangra bands from the 80s pioneered bhangra/panjabi music, and also released dharmic songs on the side, jazzy isn't doing anyfink different. He was the 1st singer unquestionably who supported balwant singh rajoana with a video online, which went viral, he was also the man who supported "sadda haq" movie with his song 'baghi', and now he has done the track for the new dharmic film "yoddha". Atleast give credit where it due! How is what he's doing, any different to sikhs who do anti-sikh things like drink/smoke/cut hair/do nindya/electoral frauds (committees) etc and then do mattha tek in the gurdwara, and possible even do kirtan on stage?
  13. If u dont mind me asking, whereabouts in uk u live? Also notice how after 9/11 it all changed? I never EVER EVER saw a single hijab at school/streets, then after 9/11, it all changed, and so did the "radicalisation" of p@kis. U have a good point, regarding the differences in generations here in the uk. When it was my nana jis funeral (In Bradford), the weeks leading up to it, the sheer number of elder P@ks coming into show their respects and have a chat with my mama jis (some were his friends from the 70s etc) left me quite taken a back. I hope the tiny lot of sikhs who have joined hands with the EDL, soon see the light and end any association with them.
  14. The thing is guys, there is a common mistake n confusion that happens between dating and grooming, especially from our n.american sikhs. Dating is simple, 2 ppl like each other n they become bf/gf of similar age or both r of adult age etc. Grooming however is, simply grotesque, and is where older men (20yrs-30+) targeting girls who r of very young age eg (9-13). The problem of stopping our girls from dating out of faith is simple, through simple explanation of sharam and sikhi education. The problem with stopping grooming of our/other girls is also simple now......shastar and armed jathas/gangs etc. The fact is the police in the uk r absolutly scandalous and corrupt, its unbelievable. As mentioned previously on these boards, groups like Shere Panjab highlighted this more than 2 decades back to the police, but they due to political correctness dismissed it. Fact is, sikhs have become pathetically weak in the uk, its embarassing! We r outnumbered, this is true, but tell me a time when we were not outnumbered? Theres a CLEAR muslim takeover of the uk, n it needs 2 b stopped, n this can only happen, via qurbanis and hathiyar, simple. Our girls have been snatched frm many parents now, n no one does anything, its quite strange, coz then we keep singing bowt "shere panjabi this n shere panajbi that". Really is time now for similar actions, such as the vigilantes singhs of leicester did on the mughal darbar, that wat we need to be doing, no point being bunch of cowards n crying bowt it afterwards. I say start up armed jathas from now on, ak47, m16s, uzi's, kirpans etc. Sikhs always get mugged off, when we disarm ourselves. Birmingham sikhs especially must start buying firearms, straight up! Growing up in 90s, i dont remember sikhs being bullied/getting mugged off, like they do nowadays. I remember my dad telling me of a story here in bedfordshire, where an apni was made to run away from home by a p@ki, thru various methods. When the family found out about it, within 30mins, a group of armed singhs were dispatched to the p@kis house and the girl was brought back and the p@ki was done over, gud n proper!!! This was during late 80s n sikhs were in military mode, id imagine due to khalistan/80s etc. This is wat is needed now, badly.
  15. Well tbh, i havnt read the article fully, but like i said in my post above, i remember reading AT THE TIME, i believe in 2007, in articles, that she came from a wealthy family, living in a very prosperous area of w.midlands, so i find it odd that it says in this recently article her family r working class, and have those particular jobs. Ill try n find those old articles where it states her families supposed wealth. Also i dont think she converted, tho that wudda been the next step, no doubt.
  16. Precisely y i cudnt careless about her human right n possible wrong conviction. I remember reading about the case when it happened, she comes from a WEALTHY family, all very intelligent aswel, and she was told to only eat halal and wear hijab in secret by that muslim mug, disgraceful. What good is it, if u just teach ur kids bowt money money money, if u aint gona teach em bowt wat genuinely matters, such as dharam and some bloody sharam aswel.
  17. Wasnt that a rumour and a slandering campaign done by rivals of dharmendras political party in order to make him look like a tool? Coz im sure he denied this, as did his politically affiliated party (cant remember the name, arya samaj maybe?). But if it is genuinely true, massive behsharam.
  18. Mate did u hear the discussion on nihals bbc asian network show on monday morning? The discussion was about interfaith marriages, and I was incredibly disheartened to hear how soooooooooo many friggin apnay ringin up tellin their own stories, it was EMBARASSING!! Any1 wana know the state of the panth, go and listen 2 that discussion. The amount of apni's marryin non-sikhs, comin live on air, all confident to talk of it, was disgusting. Every single 1 sed, that their kids will b following both religions of the parents etc cr@p. Im sittin their finkin, guru gobind singh gave up his entire family 2 progress this ungrateful kaum, n this is his mehrbani frm these coconuts? All those who have their head in the sand sayin interfaith marriages can b of some sort of aid 2 the panth, is havin a bubble! Ur comment of bollywood influencing the stupid amongst us, is defo of some substance id say Btw, here is a link to the show http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04jymbg Listen to the 1st hour......have a balti ready to do olti in!
