  1. StarStriker Paji Let me and you hate the people who hate Sikhs (rather than the ones who are with us and attend Gurdwara regularly). I honestly believe that we need to get east Punjab back to 99% being Sikhs in the sense of Gudrwara attendees. If we accept people like Sanatani as Sikhs then we can turn back the hatred against us from Urdu & Hindi speakers. My experience at Gurdwara shows that there is a significant majority of so-called HP's who are actually Sikhs but a vocal minority of Hindu-Hindi-Hindustan types who are the 1% that we don't need any association with. But I'm convinced that the majority of HP's are not against us. Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das, Banda Singh Bahadur, our Panj Pyare should be enough to convince most HP's that Sikhi is the truth and they can be part of the Sikh Panth as sehajdhari Sikhs right here, right now today rather than so-called Hindu's as the RSS term them (for the political objective of making Sikhs as small a minority as possible).
  2. Very true Inderjit Singh Ji. However, taking the example of Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh Ji and Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh Ji, I believe they achieved more in their shaheedi for Justice than they could have achieved alive (if you sense where I'm coming from on that Paji). And also there is a crucial distinction between shaheedi in physical combat or in active action on behalf of Sarbat Da Bhalla as opposed to the satyagrahi method which Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa Ji have chosen (for the right reasons ... related to non-violent struggle against a vastly more weaponised and resourced regime responsible for what Justice Khalra and others catalogued). But we as a Panth simply cannot afford to lose a Gursikh with a heart as crystal clean as Bhai Sahib. We need them on the front lines for the decades long fight ahead to reverse the damage done to our Qaum since the 1980's by Indira Gandhi and her political cronies. The fact that Rajnath Singh (BJP) has recently conceded November 1984 was Genocide and the AAP have always supported Bhai Sahib should really mean that Guru Panth must decide as soon as possible if we are willing for Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa Ji to become shaheed when we need them for the greater fight ahead (ie a fight that affects millions of innocent lives unjustly affected by the ongoing Genocide against our Qaum). Hopefully the Panth's Ardas for their Chardi Kala has an effect on what happens in the next few crucial days as all Sangat can see Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa Ji's shining commitment to Sarbat Da Bhalla and support them. Dec 31st we need massive Sangat there in support by any means necassary. As far as I am aware Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale, Bhai Panthpreet Singh Khalsa and Sarbjit Singh Dhunda have all constantly opposed the Congress and Badal promises of 2013 and 2014 in relation to Bhai Sahib's bhukh hadtal. But what I don't understand is that if even those like myself (who do not fundamentally believe in fasts to death in order to attempt justice from corrupt politicians) are vocal in support of Bhai Sahib's objectives as they are saanjhe to the whole Panth but there are others that stand silent in relation to righteous objectives regarding innocent political prisoners (who should never have even served their given sentences let alone exceed them) not being freed is very telling and Sangat won't forget where Taksal and the Giani Thakur Singh MahaPursh BrahmGiani Sant Samaj Faqr-e-Qaum types were at this time. Depressing as Bhai Sahib's health situation is, so long as we all fight Unitedly in Chardi Kala against the injustices that plague our Qaum from political prisoners, to drugs, to illiteracy, to poverty, to ill health, to female infanticide, to biraderi apartheid ... ik na ik din ... Panth ki Jeet hovegi ... no power on Earth can enslave us if we realise that our minds are free and that our destiny is in our hands via the actions we take to uplift our Panth from its current predicament and for Sarbat Da Bhalla on a wider scale thereafter. I do agree with Bhai Sahib that 2015 is not the time for an armed response given our Panth's circumstances in relation to drugs, biraderi, illiteracy, female infanticide etc (and given the blatant USA, UK, Russian + Chinese collaboration with Delhi for trade). 3. Brother, kesh that have come out during combing or washing are not to be treated in a ritualistic manner as Guru Sahib condemned Bipren ki Reet. So long as you keep your kes that is good enough without worrying about kesh that have come out naturally - which can be disposed of normally (preferably in the natural environment outdoors). You do not need to go the trouble of burning or burying kesh with an Ardas. I lose a lot kesh daily and it would be pure Bipren ki Reet to treat naturally lost hair with any kind of undeserved reverence. The kind of time spent on certain traditions relating to naturally lost hair would be better spent on paatt and seva imho.
  4. Respect and good on you Sanatani Singh for wearing a Kara given to you by your Gurdwara long ago. You and your family bow in humility in front of the Truth of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and what that actually means is that you and your family are Sikhs (albeit sehajdhari but nevertheless you and your family are Sikhs). The Arabic word "Hindu" which simply means a black-skinned thief in their derogatory terminology is NOT what you are. The word Sikh refers to a student (from a indigenous Sanskrit root) who bows in front of the Truth of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. It does not automatically translate you or your family are Amritdhari Sikhs (as our original Panj Pyare were with origins from as wide afield as Gujarat, Orissa, south India, Hastinapur and modern day Pakistan) but nevertheless you are fully entitled to be considered sehajdhari Sikhs regardless of if your surname might be Kumar, Sharma, Kapoor etc. Hopefully, one day you might feel you can change your surname to Singh too in order to eradicate the cancerous caste apartheid that befalls many people of our background whether Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian. Only Sikhi is unequivocal in its condemnation of caste as we see, for example, in 1699. All the best. You're correct brother that Amritdhari Gursikhs simply cannot have allegiances to other false precepts aligned with another faith such as believing in caste, drinking wine, worshipping stone idols or fasting or pilgrimages etc but this brother Sanatani and his family are very much sehajdhari Sikhs as regular Gurdwara attendees and the more brothers and families like him welcomed into the Sikh Panth from what are wrongly regarded as a Hindu background the better. This is the only way to get more quality Amritdhari's in the future as a static population pool can stagnate as we have seen in Punjab in recent years. JKV Bhenji, with respect, this Sikh brother (Sanatani) did not mention or claim to be an Amritdhari Khalsa Gursikh. He has merely stated that they are regular attendees of his Gurdwara and that he wears the Kara given to him by his Gurdwara loyally. I salute him and his family as (sehajdhari) Sikhs. You're absolutely right to point out that Sikhi has no tolerance of the immoral caste system and zero faith in stone idol worship and I doubt whether our friend Sanatani even believes in those two intrinsically Hindu beliefs - which would again substantiate his family are natural born Sikhs (just like the majority of the Indian population would be were they to actively come into contact with the Truth of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and be welcomed by us existing members of the Sikh Panth). The only reason the vast majority of so-called HP's think of themselves as Hindu is mostly because of RSS and Arya Samaj propaganda that anybody that attends Gurdwara without having kes and without the name Singh or Kaur is automatically Hindu. The anti-Sikh strategy behind such thinking was to reduce the Sikh percentage in east Punjab downwards from the arguably 99% it was in 1947 to the 60% it currently it is and by excluding non-Amritdhari's they wish to shows that Sikhs are but a mere 3% of the east Punjab population (which is simply not so). The smaller the population of the Panth, the more our enemies rejoice and benefit. If we are serious about Khalsa Raj globally we need to start accepting more sehajdhari Sikhs of various backgrounds into Panth. Thus, should one's supposedly non-Sikh in-laws do matha tek at a Gurdwara ... that is their entry point into the Sikh Panth right there. I hope you can see why that makes sense on how we can try push the agenda of Sarbat Da Bhala further globally.
  5. JKV Bhenji i don't quite see how accepting those that bow before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj as sehajdhari Sikhs hurts our Panth's interests in any way. Given that Amritdhari Sikhs who abstain from alcohol and so on (ie what we can term true Gursikhs) account for no more than arguably 3% of east Punjab's population (if we generously assume that 5% of the Sikh population in East Punjab live according to Rehit) then the inevitable consequence of that is that the political objectives of those that seek justice, equality and Sarbat Da Bhalla (ie the small minority of Gursikhs within the wider overall Panth) will be frustrated forever by the corrupt elements able to manipulate the majority in a democracy. If all those Punjabi's that attend Gurdwara's - arguably 95% of the east Punjab population - all genuinely feel that they are all Sikhs and stakeholders within the Sikh Panth, then there is a future possibility of Sarbat Da Bhalla coming to fruition in east Punjab by governance in accordance with Gurmat values as well as Khalsa Raj across all of present day India if we can increase our numbers and influence accordingly. The higher the population numbers of general Sikhs there are, the greater the number of true Amritdhari's will arise. If we are serious about wanting to see 96 million Khalsa in the future then that won't really occur when we look for every possible reason to exclude someone as a fellow Sikh, even going to the extent of looking at some members of Gurdwara Sangat as non-Sikhs. Given that Earth's population will rise to 9.6billion people in the future, even a force of 96 million members of the Khalsa Panth would only be 1% of the global population. Inevitably, even that 1% would need the democratic and civil support of a vastly increased population of the wider Sikh Panth and allies. Amritdhari standards are not in any way diluted by greater numbers of sehajdhari Sikhs from where the Panth's new Amritdhari's can arise. I do agree that when it comes to the Khalsa Panth, quality rather than simply quantity is paramount. VJKK VJKF
  6. Of course not JKV Ji. We all know that the Dhillon family who control the Radha Swami financial empire and Sidhu the rapist who operates the Dera Sirsa franchise is an evil cheat and on a private level we can admit that Gurbachana's death was good riddance to a dusht who killed innocent Shaheeds BUT we have to accept the reality that the millions of followers these Dera's all command nowadays are not all bad people, the innocent followers are not all against us and we have to navigate the best course of action to re-integrate them back within mainstream Sikhi over time. Decrying the innocent followers as non-Sikhs and alienating them further away from Sikhi will achieve nothing beneficial for the Sikh Panth. But it will help our opponents get closer to the day that not even 50% of east Punjab declares itself as Sikh. As for all those that attend Gurdwara's, regardless of their supposed family backgrounds, I do regard them as brother and sister Sikhs as I find it suicidal for us as a globally small community to be terming millions of those who attend Gurdwara's as non-Sikhs. No other religion does this and our opponents rejoice at our short-sightedness. When we don't accept good people within our ranks, we essentially push them into the arms of our enemies. Any time someone without the name Singh or Kaur steps foot into a Gurdwara we should build upon increasing their sense of belonging to the Panth rather than alienating people away from Sikhi.
  7. Exactly and we as ordinary Sangat, have a part to play in that parchar. Enemies accuse us of being a religion for Punjabi's only ... then how comes almost 90% of ethnic Punjabi's are non-Sikhs ... how comes most of our Panj Pyare were non-Punjabi's ... Enemies accuse Sikhi of being Jat religion ... then how comes 80% of Jats are Muslims and Hindu's ... and how is it that nowadays just under half of our population is from a historically Jatt tribal ancestry background (as opposed to the falsehood that the vast majority of Sikhs are Jatts as our enemies often accuse us due to people like KPS Gill and LT Gen Brar being so prominent). Enemies accuse Sikhi of being against so-called scheduled castes, then how comes we have a greater percentage within our ranks than both Muslims and Hindu's ... Islam and Hinduism support caste stratification as part of their belief systems, yet Sikhi and the Khalsa Panth opposes the very concept of caste as we can see from 1699 ... where yet again history shows that a majority of our Panj Pyare were from so-called scheduled castes. A new trend of claiming to be Balmiki and Dera Ballan is arising in Punjab ... because not enough of us are aware of who Bhai Jivan Singh Ji was (Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib) as the Muslims and Hindu's despised Bhai Jaita Ji for merely being a Bihari sweeper (in non-Sikh eyes) as the Muslim and Hindu writings of the time show ... or who Shaheed Bhai Sangat Singh Ji was (designated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj as leader of the Sikh Fauj) ... whilst our Muslim and Hindu opponents decried that the Sikhs were being led by a Chamar. Similarly, if we could only explain to the Muslims in east Punjab why Bhai Mardana became the first Sikh thanks to Baba Nanak many would turn to the truth of Sikhi as the first Sangat in Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj's time was of half Hindu ancestry and half of Muslim ancestry all as one United Sangat. The Truth of Sikhi is clear cut but we need to do our bit towards parchar both in our own words and deeds but also via our time and money. Perhaps we cannot do more than a month of parchar in our pinds but what we can do is ensure United Sangat Gurdwara's in all localities in the West and put an end to caste apartheid at matrimonial levels in the Diaspora as a pre-cursor to enforcing these changes back in Punjab.
  8. JKV Ji, that is exactly the point sister. When others not currently considered mainstream Sikhs do matha tek and bow down before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, they are accepting Guru Sahib as Maharaj. By welcoming them within the Panth we have a greater ability to curb anti-Gurmat beliefs that the said adherents may or may not hold. Agree with you that Sikhi is the only true faith which does not condone sexual discrimination and stresses that male and female are equal in spiritual terms before God and only differentiated by their actions rather than their worldy gender. You're absolutely right Jonny Paji that my crude calculation of taking Sikhs as 60% of east Punjab plus adding another million Sikhs for Haryana (thus excluding other non-Punjab and non-Haryana Sikhs) to get to just under 11% is a slight undercount of our percentage but either way we slice it, when even factoring for the global Punjabi diaspora, we still only get to 13% at best by my crude calculations which still means that we as Punjabi Sikhs have not succeeded in doing any kind of meaningful parchar to the 87% non-Sikh majority amongst ethnic Punjabi's in the last 70 years. Given that the hatred for Sikhs from the non-Sikh majority of ethnic Punjabi's even extends to their own mother tongue, our response should be to focus more resources towards parchar and social upliftment in poorer non-Punjabi parts of the world (once we have devoted sufficient resources to our own ... as if we ourselves are weak ... we can hardly be in a position to uplift others). Whereas in the years at the start of the 1800's barely 5% of Punjabi speakers were Sikhs, 200 odd years later due to our opponents blind hatred for Sikhi as the Truth, the situation has turned full circle and we find today that 95% of those that actively still speak Punjabi nowadays are Sikh (despite us having been a minority in even Majha, Malwa & Doaba back in 1947). Paji i understand and respect your viewpoint but we have to look at what will advance the Panth's interests furthest going forward in 2015 and beyond. Gurbachana deserved death as we all know for cruelly making our Singhs shaheed upon Indira Gandhi's orders in 1978. However, we need to address the new reality as it exists today. Taking the case of the Nirankari's based primarily in Delhi. Hardev Singh, their current leader, does not pronounce himself as a dehdhari Guru for the Panth but by referencing Gurbani has drawn lakhs of adherents mostly from UP. I would suggest that 31years after Bhai Fauja Singh's shaheedi they would want us to gather in those lakhs of Nirankari non-Punjabi adherents to mainstream Sikhi. That can only be achieved via more interaction with those same Dera followers so that they see that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj is the root source for all that they find spiritually attractive about their Dera. (In America, we can actually see how mainstream Islam achieved this type of success incorporating most followers of the NOI cult within their ranks in the last 40 years if you study the comparison). The Congress Genocide of Sikhs killed 1% of the population of our Qaum during the 80's and 90's. The 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs was 20 times worse in percentage terms as they killed 20% of our Qaum's population back then. 31years after that tragic Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs in 1947, we took our eye off the bigger picture by some seeing Nirankari's (as the Congress stooges they were at the time) as our biggest enemies at the time (whilst forgetting the decimation that Pakistan had inflicted upon us 31years earlier). If we repeat the same mistake 31years after 1984 by viewing Noormehlia's as our biggest opponents whilst drugs, illiteracy, poverty, biraderi discrimination and female infanticide are bigger enemies to defeat right now in front of us then it would be a big shame. Our Shabad Guru is indestructible and the very reason our enemies deliberately do agan bhet of Guru Sahib every so often is to distract us from the bigger priorities that we urgently need to tackle unitedly via money, manpower and collective seva. In 1978, Gurbachana's procession was a distraction from the temporary cessation of Indira Gandhi's dictatorship. Our subsequent entanglement with Gurbachana and his goons was a political and tactical defeat for our Qaum as it set in chain a motion of events that assisted Indira Gandhi in deliberately desecrating Harmandir Sahib and the Genocide of so many thousands of innocent Sikhs for purely her own selfish political gain. Paji, all of the main ethnic Punjabi communities are majority Muslim ... from Brahmins (known as Butts in Pakistan like their current Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif) ... to Jatts (like the first Prime Minister of Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan) who also happen to be the majority of Mirpuri's ... to Khatri's and Arora's (known in Pakistan as Sheikhs) and Saini's and Kamboh's (known in Pakistan as Arain Kambohs) and also Punjabi Tarkhans are mostly Muslims. Most people are aware that Rajputs and Gujjars are also overwhelmingly Muslims in Punjab. The only major Punjabi community that is not majority Muslim amongst ethnic Punjabi's are the Chura community of Pakistan who are overwhelmingly Christians. Interestingly, one of the reasons that Punjabi Muslims despise the Chura community so much is that Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj said "Rangrete Guru ke bete" as the Sikh Panth is the community that accepts Bhai Jiwan Singh Ji's bravery has never had many equals in history. It's a shame our parchar is so lacking currently that we cannot get this message out more clearly to those who turn to Christianity or who now declare themselves as Balmiki's (with Badal and RSS assistance may I add). But the fact that even Jatts, Thakhans, Julahe, Brahmins, Saini's, Khatri's, Aroreh, etc, etc are all majority Muslim communities amongst ethnic Punjabi's should act as a spur to us Sikhs to unite all Gurdwara's in each village in Punjab or town in the West into United Sangat Gurdwara's named solely as the Gurdwara for town X rather than named after any religious figures who certain committees have ignorantly tried to appropriate from the single indivisible united saanjha Sikh Panth.
  9. I hear you Inderjit Singh Ji. You're absolutely right that when central and local governments have not resolved an issue that can be resolved within days so many years after the original sentences have been served out, that seemingly Bhai Sahib only had this route to take as a non-violent method towards achieving justice for all innocent political prisoners unjustly suffering in Indian jails. You're also absolutely right that when our opponents security and military apparatus and manpower is somewhere between a hundred to a thousand times more powerful than those fighting for Truth (and is actively supported by USA, UK, France Russia, China etc ie all UN security council members simply due to reasons of trade deals with India) that we have limited options in achieving justice overnight. However, the more resources put forward by all ordinary Sangat, the SGPC and all jathebandia towards advocates such as HS Phoolka, Navkiran Singh & others ... Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa Ji acting as a chief fund raiser for the same ... Bhai Sahib in good health to do active parchar and direct part of the Panth's fight aggressively against issues afflicting our Qaum (and affecting millions of Sikhs as a result) such as drugs, illiteracy, poverty, abortion, biraderi segmentation, ill health like cancer caused by poisons and environmental pollution ... Bhai Sahib can achieve so much more for the Qaum alive rather than shaheed ... as Bhai Sahib's commitment to truth and justice is clear for everyone to see. I firmly believe that if Bhai Sahib can be in good health for Panth di seva the next 5 decades i genuinely believe Bhai Sahib can bring at least 100,000 new Sikhs towards the Panth through the integrity and strength of their character alone. If Bhai Sahib are made shaheed by the politicians as a result of political inaction then they the corrupt politicians will be the victors and our Qaum will lose a heera that we desperately need alive to fight the battle ahead. I'm just praying that Bhai Sahib's fast can end by January 1st 2015 at the latest via executive decree or presidential pardon but I am not optomistic and I am very scared that our enemies will get what they want in the Panth losing another Panth-dardhi Gursikh heera.
  10. Credit where credit's due. This is something that Jathedar Sahib has gotten right in his pronouncement. But tackling issues afflicting our Qaum related to genocidal injustice, illiteracy, ill health, biraderi discrimination and illogical segregation, poverty, infanticide etc, etc need to be tackled collectively by all of us as a United Panth as a joint top priority (ignoring minor differences in our various individual theological belief positions).
  11. Massive respect to Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa Ji whose commitment and personal sacrifice towards justice is incredible. Respect to all brothers and sisters who fasted in solidarity (though I believe we can always achieve more by active action rather than fasting) But personally, alongside all Sangat I can't help feeling sick at the possibility of Bhai Sahib's health facing irreversible damage at the very least. We desperately need Bhai Sahib alive to fight the next 5 decades plus towards eradicating injustice, illiteracy, ill health, addictions, biraderi masle, female infanticide etc afflicting our Qaum (and thereafter also others) as well as doing parchar of Sikhi. I support Bhai Sahib but along with all Sangat i pray they survive this to actively fight towards justice via non-violent constructive actions as opposed to self-sacrificing fast methods which, whilst i support Bhai Sahib as a great Gursikh, make me uncomfortable as a method of attempting to achieve justice (from politicians and judiciary who are overwhelmingly corrupt).
  12. Now that the Muslim troll has thankfully gone let's consider some points that we need to strongly address internally as Sikhs. Out of the 160 million plus pre-1947 Punjab area ethnic Punjabi population today, it's true that the statistics roughly break down as: Muslims 62.5% Christians 2.5% Hindu's 25% Sikhs 10% So if we look at pre-1947 Punjab areas today, as a result of our community's relative financial success our fertility rates are lower and our percentage of the Punjabi population and indeed Indian population are actually declining. East Punjab's high population density is not condusive to large families either. If we include those that speak Hindi and Urdu then we only comprise roughly one in ten of ethnic Punjabi's nowadays. What that should tell us is that Sikhi has no exclusive connection to the Punjabi people per se and that we should broaden our outlook to focus on new Sikhs from outside of Majha, Malwa and Doaba. The fact that the majority of our Panj Pyare were non-Punjabi illustrates this perfectly. Given that the Sikh Qaum has a fertility rate that, if not adjusted, will mean a decrease in our population going forwards, we need to take action to advance our Panth unitedly now, rather than in the future: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Census-shows-Punjab-may-no-more-be-land-of-opportunities/articleshow/7881081.cms http://www.sunday-guardian.com/news/sikhs-urged-to-have-more-children One thing we need to do arrest population decline is stop abortion clinics that proliferate in East Punjab. Physically. We simply cannot allow innocent unborn children (overwhelmingly female) to be aborted given that it is against Gurmat. Also importantly, we need new blood for the Panth from poorer non-Punjabi area's of India as well as sub-Saharan Africa as the two likely main growth area's. Instead of focussing on our minor differences as Sikhs we should work collectively in Unity to bring the message of Sikhi to the 40% in East Punjab currently defined as non-Sikhs. When it comes to new members of the Panth we need to ignore classifications of Amritdhari, Kesdhari or Sehajdhari and work from the initial basis that a person self-identifies with Sikhi. A greater number of true Amritdhari's will inevitably follow in due course when there is a greater population pool to source the best Gursikhs from whether those be white, black, Punjabi or non-Punjabi. Rather than defining people as non-Sikhs (as the RSS wish us to do as that serves their political interests whilst weakening ours by making our Panth's collective political voice smaller) we need to define as many people as Sikh as possible. That means accepting all those that do matha tek at Gurdwara's as Sikhs full stop. That also means even accepting the followers of all sects historically or even presently hostile to mainstream Sikhi as nevertheless being within the Sikh fold (ie Radha Swami, Nirankari, Namdhari's etc, etc) ... let's deliberately define them as Sikhs for census purposes and utilise the Dera's as a method for strengthening Sikhi via a greater population pool (despite past central governments funding these Dera's to weaken mainstream Sikhi). If we practise true Sikhi as mainstream Sikhs then those under the influence of Dera's should gravitate back to mainstream Sikhi over time via love and parchar. Confrontation is not the answer. Only our opponents benefit from erstwhile Sikhs being defined as non-Sikhs in 2014 and in the future. We see this in the Punjabi Suba issue ... that by defining today's so-called HP's as non-Sikhs after 1947 ... this delivered them on a plate to our opponents who wished them to declare Hindi as their new mother tongue. In so doing we inadvertently cut the connetions of many families with the Gurdwara's and delivered them into our opponents lap leaving the Punjabi speaking state smaller as a result. Obviously the main fault for this lies with our opponents but we cannot unwittingly aid and abet them in their anti-Sikh objectives. Regardless of if people are now commonly thought of as HP's or nowadays converse in Hindi, we need to welcome all those that attend Gurdwara's (whilst being defined by the RSS as HP's) as in fact being Sikhs. Welcoming them within the Panth will only strengthen us and can make Sikhs the biggest collective indigenous Panth in India within a couple of decades if we get our act together. From there on, Sikhi can significantly expand in India and beyond once more people have knowledge of its Truth. Clashes over Beadbi are deliberately orchestrated by our opponents to divert our attention away from bigger issues affecting the Panth like drugs, illiteracy, infanticide, biraderi and poverty to name a few. Our Shabad Guru is indestructible and eternal regardless of how many saroops our opponents may deliberate burn to draw a reaction from us. For every saroop our opponents burn, let us distribute Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj even more widely to those who have no knowledge of it both inside and outside of Punjab. The Muslim OP came here to try pimp Islam on to us by stealth. The best reaction we can give is to collectively aggressively contribute and raise more funds for the relief of our Qaum (and other's) weaker members away from the affects of poverty, illiteracy, addiction, abortion, poor health and biraderi cancer back in Punjab. Whilst we might not be poor in the Diaspora we certainly need to tackle alcohol addiction in overseas communities as well as divisive biraderi divisions overseas starting by having single, simple but United Sangat Gurdwara's in every local area rather than multiple fancy ones with divided biraderi-based golak-foccussed committees. Anyone visiting a Gurdwara, if only for marriage potentially, can be tomorrow's Amritdhari if we welcome all potential new Panth members to Sikhi with love and parchar rather than can causing more and more to cut any possibility of future links to Sikhi by following the tactics of numerically bigger religions. Sikhi is a different way to the rest! And next time our opponents accuse us that Sikhi is for Punjabi's only ... please be sure to remind them that Sikhi is a global faith for everyone rather than Punjabi's only as we can clearly that the overwhelming majority of ethnic Punjabi's are not Sikh and even 80% of our original Punj Pyare were non-Punjabi ... so rather than seeing Sikhi as a Punjabi "thing" we have a duty to share it outside of Majha, Malwa and Doaba.
