  1. Lol same guy that tried to attack Hawara, he was killed by his Punjab Police guards.
  2. That's a different topic bro, I was comparing two groups of the SAME people, now if we compare communities of Sikhs and Muslims, then you have to bring in ideologies, traditions, societal values. All I'm saying in this thread, OP needs to check his own backyard, for all we know, NZ may have a higher rate than UK for IR marriages. Larger community=more prounounced problems.
  3. Ok, based on your theory. If in NZ 100 out of every 1000 Sikhs marry outside of Sikhi, thats 2000 interreligion marriages. And a higher rate If in UK, 50, out of every 1000 Sikhs marry outside of Sikhi, thats 20,000 IR marriages, lower rate but higher number simply because so many more people. Maybe, we're not on the same page, I don't know.
  4. Yeah, it seems like a lot of young guys in UK are more consciously aware of who they are and what they have to do. Got a lot of youth stepping up, I hope you guys see more progress, can't see a well established Sikh community detrioriate. It's not a "requirement." It's simple numbers, the more the people, the more chances there are for occurrences of interreligion marriages. You simply can't compare a population of 20k to 400k.
  5. You can't really be this dense...No one said that having more Sikhs means we can afford to be less devout. If NZ had 400,000 Sikhs, I can bet you there would be A LOT more than the odd few interreligion marriages you guys have now. Why dont you find us numbers for interreligion marriage in NZ and England, then we can see what the percentages are based on each nations Sikh population.
  6. Lmao, finally. But HER version of feminism seems to be not so different from a lot of what gurbani says. But mainstream modern feminism? no way, they need to put a sock in it.
  7. Never said you are homie, thats between you and JSinghnz lolll.
  8. You missed his point, it wasnt "Yeah, well we have more Sikhs! HA." He meant that if NZ too had 100's of thousands of Sikhs, the amount of interreligion marriages would be equal to Englands. You guys in NZ arent more devout, theres just not enough Sikhs for there to be lots of interreligion marriages.
  9. Good for you, champ. I will say though that my views don't speak for most of the Sikh community.
  10. Its everywheere, just started off in richmond/vancouver, and spread too delta/surrey/abbotsford. Its still going stong, probably will for another 10-15 years when the 3rd generation is grown.
  11. Dosanjh brothers can hardly be thought of as protectors of khalistanis, they were crooks. All these uncles/babay on both sides had/have lots of money, only reason the younger guys would help either side. The johal vs dosanjhs beef had nothing to do with the politics anyways.
  12. Maybe they're all family or something lol. I think muslims outnumber Sikhs too in calgary though. "Moderates" are mostly just commitee babay, the gangbangers aren't involved in any of it, in the past maybe a 2-3 guys worked with moderates, 2-3 worked with fundamentalists/isy. Its just that the fundementalists/isyf/babbars/moderates would at time hire these younger guys for a hit. But, there is trend of many Khalistani dads, whos kids are involved in crime. In the mid-late 90's people were fed up with the violence and the fundementalists were definitely more violent, so people went with moderates in the 96/98 elections. Most gurdwara today are though are run by fundamentalists, the Ross moderates are still playing dirty to keep their power. I can only think of 2 gurdwaray run by moderates, most are either neutral or fundementalists.
  13. I don't know how you manage to argue with her in every other thread, you're basically just smashing your head against a brick wall. She should be ignored, I'm quite convinced she is a hindu pretending to be Sikh, or just some backword pendu.
  14. The trailer, to be honest, was pretty bad, but I hope the movie will be better than the trailer portrays. Its a shame that these movies don't get the funding needed, diljits movie had the funding and was very well made, just too bad it maligned kharkus. Most of the genuine movies end up being corny and amatuer, but people either have low standards or refuse to admit it.
  15. Never heard of any punjabi crews in calgary. But I think most of the punjabi community is Doabi, a slight majority probably. Basically the guys that opposed Khalistan movement and their supporters during the 80s/90s. Some of the "moderates" cant be considered Sikhs, theyre communists.
  16. She went to Punjab and met many kharkus, the stories in her book are told by those men. This batala bombings story was told by a kharku who was close to Shaheed Ajmer Singh Lodhiwal. While I am a Khalistani supporter through and through, I still believe some angry young Sikhs took their anger out on Hindus. What about the bombings on MS Bitta, first one claimed 13 lives, 2nd one claimed 9, do you really believe none of the 22 dead were innocent lol? Edit: and it seems like you don't even know who she is or her book, yet you call her unreliable? Come on bro, we can't just always claim "RSS false flag" etc.
  17. Lol, go ask them if they'd prefer to join their fellow muslims in Pakistan. You do realize Sikhs have killed innocents right? You think targetted bomb blasts set by Sikhs only killed the intended target? If I recall correctly there was also a story in Cynthia mahmoods book about Sikhs setting off bombs in batala city? Now of course the Batala hindus were hostile towards Sikhs, but most would still consider the bombings to be attacks on innocents.
  18. Good point, but I'm a firm believer of revenge. Plus, pretty sure I read/heard somewhere Malerkotla muslims joined Punjab police in decent numbers during the movement to oppose Sikhs, may be wrong though. Or what we could do send them back to their beloved Pakistan, pretty sure they're more pro-pakistan than anything.
  19. Lol I saw that too, ridiculous, its not like he died fighting for Sikhs.
  20. Don't get me wrong, I am no fan of Hindus or the Hindu sarkar, but the Chittisinghpura massacre is more likely to be the world of LET than Indian forces. As for Air India, its a topic that very few know or will know the complete truth about. I fully agree however that the media and Punjab police love using the khalistan "boogeyman," every few years they make up a story to get some ratings/promotions/bonuses. Yeah, I read his father was murdered in Tarn Taran, you have any more information about who this father/son duo may have killed during the movement? Good riddance anyways, I'm just angry the attackers were after civilians too.
  21. Glad the bombs on the train tracks didn't succeed, that would have killed many innocent Sikhs. Had that happened I'd fully support burning Malerkotla to the ground.
  22. I agree, some Sikhs have a really hard time accepting their muslim "brethren" can commit attacks. During the hyderabad and saharanpur conflicts, many Sikhs were jumping around blaming RSS. It's Islamists who entered Punjab and attempted to kill Sikhs, and we run to blame Hindus, ridiculous! Rivers like someone said, I'm not sure if its been ruled out if they entered Jammu & Kashmir first, then to Punjab.
  23. Is there a link to the recordings? I've only heard his "reply"
