  1. right, this coming from you. The guy that knows less than anyone else here. Do you ever add anything to discussions other than snide comments to try and seem self righteous? Basically the discussion is regarding the final charitar in Dasam Granth and the story of Dusht Daman.
  2. I love this so called paper because its the exact same thing that anyone that disagrees about certain things about Sikhi do. Blame the British lmao. Anyone having read texts that predate the British invasion can disprove this completely daft notion.
  3. I think this was a different incident, if I recall right this was during the war with Brijnaad? I'm in the process of getting pothis of Sarbloh Granth so I'll definitely see if I can put together a chronological order to the events, but I'm sure someone somewhere took a note of it.
  4. Ok so here's my take on this all. Again I'm gonna say I'm not a scholar on Dasam Bani, nor do I have any form of Brahmgyan that I can provide a meaningful spiritual lesson. The Fire represents purity and power. For example when Durga waged her war with the general of Mahishasura, While fighting from her rage and her forehead (Dasam Dwar) rose a fire, and that fire gave birth to Kalika. Mata Baala rising from the flames is important as well, as it shows she has no linege from either side (she wasn't born into a Asura family like Bhagat Prahalad or as a Devta to fight for good). In a more deeper stance She represents a Gursikh or a Puran Brahmgyani. The Fire is the fire of Brahmgyan that burns within them. Mata Baala is born amidst of that fire in the the world, She's basically born between Paap (Demons) and Piousness (Devtas). The battlefield represents the Karma fields we live in, basically the eternal struggle between good and evil. But a Gurmukh is born amongst neither and is above both (Sukhmani Sahib). Her being a woman is important as She's also a manifestation of the Soul-Bride that Guru Granth Sahib Ji is also telling us about. She wants to marry God and so she prays and her prayers are answered. Bhavani comes to deliver the News that Mata Baala should do anything that God tells her (Bhavani represents Righteousness here, i.e the ideal path reveals itself on how to reach God). Kaal Purkh then instructs her to wage war against the demons (destroy the evil within) and She follows it to a dot. God then assists her due to this by coming to her in a form to support and basically destroy the Demons too. Their union is such that Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva all run and flee as the power and magnificence is too much. On a metaphorical stage that's the 3 guna becoming powerless before the true Gurmukhs. I think Ugardanti Bani is amazing in explaining this. Basically Akaal Purkh's Shakti is the one that destroys evil, creates preserves etc. This Shakti will manifest or make itself visible for mortals to see. The power was working through Narsinmha while he destroyed Harnakash. This Power was the same one that was visible to the world while Krishna destroyed Kansa. Think of it like a gun being fired, when we fire a gun. the bullet leaves the pistol and kills someone. The bullet is essentially the Avtars or Devi when they destroy evil, but like the gun we never blame the bullet but the firer, the trigger firer is the one responsible. IN this case that firer is Akaal Purkh Waheguru. That's the Shakti that Guru Sahib told her to Pooj, as without it the bullet is nothing but an empty caress. The Dusht Daman Story has its roots in Suraj Prakash Granth but I think its been around alot longer. The incident happened in Satyug, which was when Guru Sahib helps Durga. The final Charitar also takes place in Satyug but the question is when. Before or after the Dusht Daman Story. There's also the incident that since Bhavani is the one who delivers the message to Mata Baala, and Mata Ji is Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. Why is there a difference in characters? Why is Bhavani talking to herself in this instance? the only other time I've read this happened was when Krishna took Arjuna to his realm to speak to Vishnu, in an attempt to teach him a lesson regarding ego while remaining inside his earthly role.
  5. I'll explain my interpretation in a bit paji, a bit roped up with university
  6. IF they are giving him advice then its fine to tell others the Advice, Sant Harnam Singh Ji did, So did Bhai Rama Singh Ji. I wont lie though, iv never heard of someone channelling them. They're not like Spirits as they are all powerful and capable of manifesting completely if they wish.
  7. I can easily say I saw Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha last night, doesn't make it true at all. They do appear but rarely. Almost all the cases of people claiming to see them will be false or just the desire for attention. Reminds me of that Charitar Guru Sahib wrote, about the man who claimed to see Krishna so he could go and frolic with a Queen.
  8. It actually is. They rarely come to just anyone, only people with really high Avasthas or undying faith are capable of having their visions and blessings. IF anyone has seen them or sees them then they are super super super lucky. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj has blessed them.
  9. No ones making you stay here. If you despise it so much up and move, it's not exactly hard these days. Anyone supporting Britain first is an absolute moron, not only will the media tear you apart but after they finish with the muzzies they'll look for a new target. Trust me when I say they'll come knocking for you too.
  10. soooooo back on topic. Here's Sant Bhindrawale's take on the Mata Ji's past lives. http://kam1825.podbean.com/e/mata-sahib-kaurs-previous-life/ So my initial post about Mata Ji's past life being in Satyug as a different being from Durga is mentioned here by Sant Ji. He references the 404th Charitar in Dasam Granth, If anyone wishes to learn more I recommend you read it.
  11. Actually the similarities are all there. Amrit was used first by the "Hindus" now we use it too, the fact that you want to get rid of Hindu stuff means you want to get rid of Amrit. Will you also want to get rid of Bhagat Namdev Ji's bani? I mean that sounds (from the surface) like praises to Vishnu.
  12. My understanding far exceeds yours, of that I'm sure. You were the one getting triggered and upset over the fact that Divas are Hindu, So if being Hindu means it shouldn't be done then lets stop doing Amrit Sanchars, since AMRIT is also a concept in Hinduism. Why stop there, Lets go through everything in our history and edit it so you don't have a panic attack over the fact that Sikhs, like all faiths in the world have overlaps everywhere. Hinduism has overlaps in everything, and everything has overlaps in Hinduism.
  13. After reading that sentence he'll probably end up like this..
  14. HIndus also have amrit, you're saying we should stop doing stuff because Hindus do it. So please enlighten me. As usual you do nothing but run your mouth. Honestly, the least you can do is form conjugate sentences so they are at-least semi comprehensible.
  15. Jeez, are we now going to do away with amrit too? Because Hindus did it too?
  16. None of them were directed at you. If you want to go and romp with a muzzie guy that's your business, there's no need to constantly spam the forum with all your sexual fantasies. For someone that claims to be concerned about the image of Sikhi Saroop, you're doing an amazing job at demonstrating it (!).
  17. adding to what @Singh123456777 is saying, Guru Sahib didn't just welcome Sikhs into his family (the Khalsa) he also gave them the crest of the Suryavash too, Sikhs were instructed to say that was their Lineage after taking Amrit.
  18. I thought Mata Sahib Kaur Ji was the incarnation of the woman in the 404th Charitar, not Chandi? as She desired to marry Akaal Purkh, Durga told her to do everything Akaal Purkh tells her to do so Akaal sends her to war against demons, She then prays for Akaal's help so he arrives to protect her and battle the demons. To fufil her desire of marriage to Akaal, She then incarnates as Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and becomes the mother of the Khalsa and "wife" of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Thus Akaal fufils her desire. The story you recounted, I've heard it but the entire thing was slightly different in the version I read. Basically Dusht Daman destroys the demons and Devi promises to serve him in Kalyug, in the form of a Shastar.
  19. I was half asleep when I wrote that lol, thanks for the correct though

    Challenge of a Hindu

That in itself is false, Bhagat Dhanna Ji did worship Idols at one point but that was due to being mislead by a Pandit. God appeared to him due to his innocence, he also showed Bhagat Ji how in past lives he did so much Tapisya and Naam Simran, hence why God came to him. The minute God told him to stop and start doing Simran he abandoned it all. He was staunchly against it once he realised what was true. Why would you hold the actions of an innocent man who knew nothing but trusted the only authority in religion he had at the time (the pandit) I'm well aware this is nothing more than a troll post but I still find it amusing how they try the most silliest of tactics. Reminds me of a Sakhi I heard a while back.
  21. because they're misinformed. There's alot of random superstition surrounding alot of banis due to people having many different experiences from them. When I was little (around 10) I learnt Sukhmani Sahib but I was too scared to recite it due to the fact that after I would finish it something awful would happen, it was all nonsense in hindsight but we need to remember one thing. Gurbani in any form is never bad for you.
  22. yeah thanks for the correction. Missed the lunar calendar section.
